Expressions in Color Paper Pumpkin Past Kit

Today I’m sharing a past Paper Pumpkin kit that’s currently on the Clearance Rack (not at a clearance price) BUT it’s only available for purchase to current Paper Pumpkin customers. About ten days ago I was looking around the Stampin’ Up! site and checked out the Clearance Rack. When I saw the Expressions in Color Paper Pumpkin Kit, I remembered that I never made my kit (it’s from June 2021 – yikes!) so I pulled it out and created the cards.

Here’s a picture of everything you’ll receive.

I didn’t make my cards exactly as shown and used a Gorgeous Grape ink pad for one of the cards. You can see my versions below (the first one is my very favorite).

Inside each Paper Pumpkin box there are instructions in the form of pictures but Stampin’ Up! also provides a video each month.  Below you’ll find the video for the Expressions in Color Paper Pumpkin Past Kit.

The Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine is on sale during the month of March but once stock is depleted, the sale will be over. If you have a catalog, it’s very easy to see if a set of dies is compatible with this smaller machine. An icon will be beside the dies that says Mini! I decided to count and see how many dies would actually fit in the Mini and I have to say, I was very surprised! There are 31 in the Annual Catalog and 19 in the Mini Catalog!!

Just for the month of March, you can also save 20% on thirteen different die/stamp bundles that are compatible with the Mini and three of them were brought back just for this promotion! Click on any of the images for more information.

Place a minimum $40 order AND use my special host code EGBT4VJY by March 6th to receive at least three of my Pattern Party Card Kits. Each kit includes all the paper you’ll need to complete a beautiful card (the paper will be cut, scored, embossed and die cut for you). You’ll need to supply your own stamps, ink and adhesive. You’ll also receive a PDF Tutorial for the cards that will include pictures, instructions, measurements and a supply list.

I used Pattern Party Designer Series Paper to create all six cards. Each card is the same design but I’ve used different cardstock and ink for all six cards (you can see two of the cards in the graphic above).

  • Place a minimum $40 order (before tax and shipping) at my Stampin’ Up! Online Store
  • Use my special Pattern Party Host Code EGBT4VJY when placing your order. If your order is $150 or more, do not use the host code so you can receive Stampin’ Rewards directly from Stampin’ Up! You’ll still receive your card kits.
  • Place your order on or before March 6, 2022.

The Card Kits will be mailed approximately March 14, 2022.  You’ll receive an email from me once yours has been mailed and I’ll have the PDF Tutorial for you at that time

  • An order of $40-$49.99 will receive three card kits (before tax/shipping)
  • An order of $50-$99.99 will receive four card kits (before tax/shipping)
  • An order of $100-$149.99 will receive five card kits (before tax/shipping)
  • An order of $150 or more will receive all six card kits (before tax/shipping)

On March 7th, I’ll close the host code and order the supplies I’ll need. Once they arrive, I’ll begin assembling the card kits!

Free Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set

Paper Pumpkin

I will always be very straightforward and honest with you.  I ordered Paper Pumpkin when it first came out and I didn’t care for it.  I subscribed and unsubscribed several times.  BUT, I have been a loyal subscriber now for over a year and a half. Why?  Because the projects are so cute AND I get a Stampin’ Spot and stamp set every month.

Stampin’ Up!  sent out their millionth kit in March and they want to thank their Paper Pumpkin subscribers in April with an extra free stamp set! If you’d like to give it a try for a month and see if you like it, this is the month to do it.  It is very simple to sign up but you need to do it by April 10th (this Sunday)!  Click here to sign up!

Here are a few stamp sets that I’ve received in my PP past kits and my supply of Stampin’ Spots!

If after a month you decide that you don’t like it, simply unsubscribe before the 10th of the next month. It’s that easy!

Here’s a video from Stampin’ Up! that shows the contents of the kit that came out in March.

Today I want to talk about Paper Pumpkin.  I’ve talked about it before on my blog but there have been many changes to the Paper Pumpkin program in recent months.  I will be very honest with you, I have joined and rejoined PP several times. I wasn’t overjoyed by the kits and decided that it just wasn’t for me.  If I was going to recommend it to you, I wanted to try it and see what I thought.

I have signed up again.  Why?  When I went to the Stampin’ Up! Convention in July, demonstrators were able to look at some upcoming kits.  I absolutely loved what I saw.  I couldn’t take pictures because we went through a room that was curtained off and picture taking was not allowed.  I immediately signed up again as soon as I returned home from Convention.

When my kit arrived last month, I was very impressed with how much was in it, much more than in the kits I had previously ordered.  You can make the projects as they are intended or change them up.  Stampin’ Up! even has a video each month (see below) that shows you how to make the projects as well as everything included in the kit. At the end of my post, you can see a card I made with the kit, but I made some changes.

There’s a special going on right now, but it expires this Wednesday!  If you join before this date, your first two months will be 50% off!! After that, you can continue or you can cancel your subscription.  Why might you want to subscribe?

  • Each month you can create the Paper Pumpkin surprise with everything you need.
  • You will receive a Stampin’ Spot (small ink pad).  It gives you a chance to try some new colors and see if you like them
  •  You’ll add new and exclusive stamps to your crafting supplies
  • CUTE projects!!!!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email me.  You can visit the Paper Pumpkin site and look around by clicking here.  If you decide to join, please choose me as your demonstrator.  Be sure to check out the video below and see one of the cards I created!

Here’s the card I made with the kit.  I took a piece of Whisper White (see picture below the card) and sponged it with Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight. These colors remind me of a popsicle I used to eat when I was a kid.  Back then they were called Missiles.  Delicious on a hot day!   Back to the card . . . .  then I glued that piece to my Daffodil Delight card base, put Stampin’ Dimensionals to the Hello base and attached it!  Just another look using some of the elements of the kit.  My little polka dots were made using a stamp in the kit.
