Today I have another sneak peek of new products debuting on January 5, 2023 in the January – April Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog! The new products are:
- Love Cats stamp set #160410
- Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper #160375
I started with a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock for the base of my card. Then I ran a piece of Basic White cardstock through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Into the Clouds Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card base. I cut a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock and adhered a piece of Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper (available January 5th) to the front and then adhered it to the left side of the card base.
I used my Stamparatus to stamp the cute cat from the stamp set, Love Cats (available January 5th). If you want a really bold image, the Stamparatus is perfect for the job because you can keep stamping in the same place. I stamped the cat on Basic White cardstock using Memento ink and then cut him out using the Layering Circles Dies. I colored the heart using my Real Red Dark Stampin’ Blend. I cut another, larger, scalloped circle, again using the Layering Circles Dies, and adhered the cat to the front. Then I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.
I stamped my sentiment in Memento Ink using the stamp set Framed Florets and cut it out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it below the cat.
To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card and added three Iridescent Pearls to the front.

If you’re in need of a last minute gift card holder for a gift card you’re giving this holiday season (like I did), then I have one that’s easy to make! I’m sharing two using Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper (it’s on sale for $4.80) and the Brightest Glow stamp set. I have a third one using Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper which unfortunately has already sold out.
This first card was made with Early Espresso cardstock (you can find the measurements I used below the Supply List). I scored my cardstock in two different places and folded it in half and then the other one was folded to make a pocket. I added a piece of Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper to the pocket and then added another piece inside the card. On this card I used a 1″ Circle Punch (Stampin’ Up! no longer sells this punch) to cut a notch in the pocket but after making a third one, I realized, I didn’t really need to do this step as the gift card is really easy to get out of the pocket. I added Tear & Tape to the sides of the pocket and folded it up.
I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock and added another piece of Designer Series Paper at the top and adhered it to the inside of the card. I folded the card up and then wrapped a piece of Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon around the card (I added the ribbon so that the present could actually be unwrapped). I stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink onto Basic White cardstock using the stamp set, Brightest Glow, and cut it out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card. To complete my card, I added three Festive Pearls to the sentiment.
For this next card, I used Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper, Real Red cardstock, Real Red ink, Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Real Red & Garden Green Ribbon (from the Mini Catalog).
For this last card, I used Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper which I mentioned above is no longer available but if you were able to get it before it sold out, you can give this card a try. I also used Real Red & Garden Green Ribbon, Real Red ink and Rhinestone Basic Jewels. For this card, I did NOT cut the notch out of the pocket and you can see that it’s just fine.

Today’s project was made using Stampin’ Up! Envelope Treat Boxes. They are the perfect size for a gift card but I added candy to mine (and I possibly ate some of the candy while making the project).
It’s very easy to assemble the box. You fold on all the score lines and then there are tabs on each corner with adhesive already on them. After my box was made, I started by cutting a piece of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper and adhered it to the inside of the box (you can find the measurements I used below the Supply List). After placing four Ghirardelli Chocolates inside, I closed up the box.
Closing up the box is easy as well.
Next, I wrapped a piece of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper around the box, scoring it with my fingers around the sides of the box and then adhered the two ends together at the bottom of the box. I used our Silver Foil to cut a circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies (on sale today) and adhered it to the front of the box. Then I stamped the sentiment using the stamp set Snowman Magic in Real Red ink. I cut it out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies (on sale today), added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the foil circle.

Today’s card features Stampin’ Up! Lights Aglow 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and the Brightest Glow Bundle which includes the Brightest Glow stamp set and the Labels Aglow Dies. I also used the Twinkling Lights Dies.
I started with a piece of Soft Succulent cardstock for the base of my card. Then I cut a piece of Lights Aglow 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and added it to the front of the card. There are so many beautiful designs in this package of paper!! Next, I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then ran it through one of the Wintry 3D Embossing Folders using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.
I used a different design of Lights Aglow Designer Series Paper to cut a tree using the Twinkling Lights Dies and adhered it to the embossed Basic White cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock in Evening Evergreen ink using the stamp set, Brightest Glow and cut it out using the Labels Aglow Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the upper half of the sentiment and adhered it to the left bottom corner of the rectangle. Next, I added nine Festive Pearls in Soft Succulent, all over the tree. To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside. Festive Pearls are currently out of stock but are estimated to be back in stock the week of November 21st.

Happy Halloween!!
Today’s card features the stamp set, Framed & Festive (#160888). This stamp set and several other products will be available starting tomorrow, November 1st! I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card. Then I layered Pool Party cardstock with a piece of Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper and adhered it at the bottom of the card base.
I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Pool Party ink and the Framed & Festive stamp set. Then I cut it out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I cut another, larger rectangle out of Pool Party cardstock using these same dies and adhered the sentiment to it. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back but before I placed it on the card, I adhered the Wonderful Snowflake to the front of the card using a Mini Glue Dot and then placed the sentiment on top of it.
To complete the card, I added five Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems to the front of the card.
