Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home Bundle

Today’s card was created using the Blessings of Home Bundle which includes the Blessings of Home stamp set and the Flowers of Home Dies. I also used the stamp set, By My Side for the sentiment.

I started with a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock for the base of my card. Then I added a layer of Basic White cardstock and a piece of In Color 2022-2023 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper in Fresh Freesia. I embossed a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock using the Twigs & Sprigs Embossing Folder and adhered it to a piece of Basic White cardstock and then placed it on the front of the card.

I used the Blessings of Home stamp set to stamp the flowers onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Memento Ink. I colored it using Stampin’ Blends:  Fresh Freesia, Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight. I cut it out using the Flowers of Home Dies and then adhered it to a layer of Balmy Blue and Basic White cardstock which I then adhered to the card.

Stampin Up By My Side

I stamped the sentiment onto a pice of Basic White cardstock using the stamp set, By My Side, and Memento ink and cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it below the flowers.

Stampin’ Up! Basic Borders Dies Day 2

Today is Day 2 of showcasing Stampin’ Up! Basic Borders Dies. If you missed yesterday’s card, you can see it here

Yesterday I found out that the Aspen Tree Dies – a Sale-a-Bration gift with a $100 purchase – are on the Low Inventory list. More stock will be coming in but when, I can’t say. If you’ve had your eye on these dies or the Perched in a Tree Bundle, grab them while you can!

The Aspen Tree Dies can be purchased in three ways:

Please note:  The free Sale-a-Bration option has a different product number than if you were to purchase the dies. If you are choosing the free option, be sure to use the Sale-a-Bration product number. Please see the different item numbers above.

I had planned to space my three cards throughout the week but I’m sharing them today just in case they are out of stock soon! This first card was made with Rings of Love Designer Series Paper, a Sale-a-Bration gift with a $50 purchase.

I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock and then used the Basic Borders Dies to cut the bottom into a V-shape. Then I added a piece of Rings of Love Designer Series Paper to the inside. Next, I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink using the stamp set, Cottage Wreaths

I placed a piece of Basic White cardstock inside the Twigs & Sprigs Embossing Folder and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Then I adhered it to the front of the card.

I used Memento ink to stamp the bird and branch onto Basic White cardstock using the stamp set, Perched in a Tree  (this coordinates with the Aspen Tree Dies). Then I colored the bird using these Stampin’ Blends: Night of Navy (Light and Dark), Daffodil Delight (Light and Dark). I used the  Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend for the branch and the bird’s beak and feet. I also used the Stampin’ Blends Color Lifter on the bird’s belly. I then adhered the bird and branch to the front of the card.

For this next card, I didn’t use Designer Series Paper but chose to use embossed paper for both the inside and front of the card. I also made the front embossed piece a little bit longer than on the previous card.

I used all the same products but for this card, I used a Dark Soft Suede Stampin’ Blend for the branch and the bird’s feet and beak.

For this next card, I used another design from Rings of Love Designer Series Paper.

I cut a piece of 4″ x 3- 3/4″  piece of Rings of Love Designer Series Paper and placed one of the Basic Borders Dies from the top right corner to the bottom left corner to create the shape.  I started with a piece of Early Espresso cardstock and then added a layer of Crushed Curry cardstock that I ran through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Twigs & Sprigs Embossing Folder. Then I adhered the shape I made with the Basic Borders Dies.

Next, I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink onto Basic White cardstock using the stamp set, Charming Sentiments. I cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies (currently out of stock but estimated to be available again the week of September 19th). I cut a larger circle out of Early Espresso and layered the two pieces together. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.

I used the Aspen Tree Dies to cut two small leaves out of Crushed Curry & Poppy Parade cardstock and then adhered them above the sentiment. To complete my card, I added three Brushed Metallic Dots
