Welcome to the Glitter Queens Blog Hop! I’m so glad you’re here! Our theme this month is Tags & Bags and I know you’ll find lots of inspiration for your holiday gift giving!
Do you have lots of pretty paper sitting in a drawer not being used? Pull it out and make my bag! Watch my video below and you’ll see how easy it is to create your own handmade bag!
It’s gift giving time so I created this bag to fit a package of Stampin’ Up! Framelits. Who wouldn’t love to receive a beautiful bag with a set of Framelits inside??!! I used the pretty All is Bright Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Catalog for both bags. This paper just went on the Retiring List and will only be available while supplies last! If you love it, I recommend placing your order as soon as you can!
The tags are super easy to make too and tomorrow I’ll have a video for those! I used the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch to create the actual tag and I ran it through the Big Shot with the Softly Falling embossing folder. The Silver Foil sprigs were cut out with the Frosted Bouquet Framelits Dies. The sentiment, and the punch used to cut it out, are both from the Christmas Traditions Punch Box which is currently on sale 50%!! In this beautiful tin is included six stamps, the Christmas Traditions Punch, Call Me Clover & Real Red Stampin’ Spots and a clear stamp block! This item is also on the Retiring List and available only while supplies last or January 2, 2019.
You’ll find a supply list below that will include all the products I used to make the bags and tags.
Today I’m offering some blog candy! Leave a comment about today’s project or how you’re enjoying this holiday season and you’ll be entered to win a package of Pearls. I very much appreciate all comments but blog candy will only be mailed to a U. S. address! You’ll have until Sunday evening to be entered in the drawing. Be sure to check back on Monday when I post the name of the winner!
I’m the last person in the hop but if you started in the middle, you’ll want to continue to Dawn Griffith’s blog where you’ll find more inspiration! Others hoppers may also be offering blog candy so be sure to comment on their posts too!

Wow this bag is stunning! I LOVE it! The size is perfect. Who wouldn’t want to receive that with a big shot die inside? 😉 This hop has been so fun and I’m so inspired. Thanks so much for sharing
I’m so glad you enjoyed the hop!! We love hearing that! Thank you!
I love these bags and tags you created!! Sometimes bags and tags can be cute or pretty. Your creations are so classy and elegant looking. I love how you paired up the gold sprig and burlap with the classic red and green holly paper and the gray ribbon and silver sprig with that gorgeous gray and red paper. Those DSPs have not been on my “radar” until this video. As I’m writing this, I just keep scrolling back again and again to look at the two bags and coordinating tags. They are really beautiful. Thanks, also, for the easy-to-follow video showing how you made them. Great work!!
Thank you so much for you nice comment, Laurie! I’m so happy you enjoyed my projects!
