I wanted to pop in today to let you know I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth. As many of you know, my mom went in for major surgery on March 31st. She had a section of her lung removed due to cancer. We went to the doctor several days after she was released and everything was looking very good. Eleven days ago my sister and I took her to the Emergency Room because she was very weak, not eating, and more. It was discovered she had massive clots in her lungs which in turn was making her heart weak. She’s on medication for the lung clots and thankfully her heart is okay. It’s been a long, and very frightening road. She is still very weak and several days ago she was put on a feeding tube. Her doctor feels she will come out of this. We expect that she will be released from the hospital in a few more days, if nothing else goes wrong.
Once my mom is stable, I will start sending thank you emails for the orders that have come in. If you are expecting Card Samplers, they will be late. Yesterday I was at the hospital from 7:00 – 7:00 and once I’m home, I just can’t focus on anything. My sister and I have hope that our precious mom will make it through this.

I’m still taking care of my mom, along with my sister, as our mom recovers from major surgery. I had no idea my mom would be coming home with a tube in her chest but she did. At the doctor’s appointment last week, the tube wasn’t ready to come out but we’re hoping it will this week – we’ve heard the pain lessens once it comes out. We’re trying to keep our mom comfortable and giving pain meds and antibiotics to her around the clock. As you can understand, I’m not making cards regularly but was able to make some cards for my Card Sampler this weekend and it felt so great to create. When I come to visit my mom, (I knew I’d be here for an extended amount of time), I always bring my Stampin’ Up! supplies.

Here’s What You’ll Receive:
- All the paper and embellishments needed to make three or six cards. If your order is $50 or more, you’ll receive two each of three different cards. The paper will be cut, scored, and die cut for you! Envelopes will also be provided. You’ll need to supply your own adhesive, ink and stamp set.
- A PDF Tutorial with instructions, pictures, cutting measurements and a complete supply list of all the products used.
- Earn at least one Bradley Point (earn ten Bradley Points and redeem them for free product).
All the Other Important Information:
- Your Artistically Inked Card Sampler will ship first-class mail approximately May 4, 2023 and will be mailed to the address used on your online order. I’m currently staying with my 91 year old mom as she recovers from major surgery and will try to mail it on the date above but I can’t guarantee it especially if she has a set back.
- You’ll receive an email when I mail your Card Sampler and the PDF Tutorial will be included in that email.
- When using the Artistically Inked Card Sampler Host Code to place your order, you will not qualify for other current host code rewards.
- Per Stampin’ Up! policy, Card Samplers can only be mailed within the United States.
You’ll receive all the materials to make three or six cards (one or two of each design). You’ll quickly have beautiful cards ready to be mailed out to someone special. If you can’t make the cards once they arrive, no worries, each card is labeled in its own clear envelope which makes it easy to come back to later. Once you’ve made all the cards in the Sampler, you’ll be able to easily replicate each card by following the easy to follow directions in the PDF (pictures are included as well).
