I made this card for a workshop that I held yesterday. Most of what I used can be found in the Occasions Mini catalog. Love these colors and the cute flower makes me feel as though spring is almost here! I got the idea for the card from Julie Freysinger and you can check out her post here.
What I Used: Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White and Rose Red cardstock, Scallop Trim corner, Scallop Trim border (free with a $50.00 purchase during Sale-a-bration which ends on March 31st), Eggcoutrements stamp set, Eggcellent Eggs Kit, Sweet Pea stitched felt, SU! Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder (used with the Big Shot), Elegant Eggplant classic stamp pad and Designer Label punch which works perfectly with the Easter stamp), Chocolate Bunny stamp

This card was inspired by a similar one in a magazine (Stampin’ Success) that Stampin’ Up! demonstrators receive each month. I changed a few things but the way it turned out. I used two items from the Occasions Mini Catalog: the Extra Large Two Step Bird Punch (which also comes with the branch he is on) and Old Olive 5/8 inch satin ribbon. The texture on the Rich Razzleberry cardstock was achieved by using the Big Shot and the Elegant Bouquet Textured Impressions embossing folder. I used a Stampin’ Dimensional on the bird’s wing to create lift. My sentiment “Thinking of You” is part of a hostess set (Kind and Caring Thoughts) at level 3. I made this gift set for someone at Christmas. I used Bella Bleu designer paper (page 162 in the catalog) for the first time as well as my Big Shot (I love that machine). It is hard to tell but the butterflies and flower have blue rhinestone brads in the center. If you click on each card you will be able to see a close up. The first picture is the box I made to put the cards and envelopes into. I used the same paper on the inside of my pen. Thank you for visiting!!
