Today’s card features the Friendly Gnomes stamp set and the Gnomes Dies.The Gnomes Dies debuted in the July- December Holiday Catalog but are currently out of stock (they should be available again the week of March 27th). These are the same dies that coordinated with the Kindest Gnomes stamp set (also in the Holiday Catalog but has retired) but now coordinate with the Friendly Gnomes stamp set that was used on my card today!
I started with a piece of Sweet Sorbet cardstock for the base of my card. Then I added a piece of Basic White cardstock that I embossed using the Painted Texture Embossing Folder and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
Next, I cut a piece of Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper and layered it with a piece of Sweet Sorbet cardstock (you can find the measurements I used below the Supply List). After adhering it to the front of the card, I used the Layering Circles Dies to cut a scalloped circle out of Sweet Sorbet cardstock and a circle out of Basic White cardstock. I adhered the two pieces together and then set it aside.
I stamped the gnome from the stamp set, Friendly Gnomes, in Memento ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. I colored the gnome in using these Stampin’ Blends:
- Sweet Sorbet Light – I went over these areas several times to get the shade I wanted
- Petal Pink Light
- Balmy Blue Light
- Soft Suede Light
I cut the gnome out using the Gnomes Dies. Next, I stamped the sentiment, also from the Friendly Gnomes stamp set, in Sweet Sorbet Ink and cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered the sentiment behind the gnome and then adhered both to the Basic White circle. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Sweet Sorbet scalloped circle and adhered it to the front of the card. I then placed three 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots around the gnome.
To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.

Today’s card features the Fragrant Flowers stamp set and Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper, which is a free paper you can earn with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-Bration 2023 (supplies are limited and may run out before Sale-a-Bration is over on February 28, 2023). I also used the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder which is not currently in a catalog but can be ordered online.
The Fragrant Flowers stamp set is available in Cling or Photopolymer!
I started with a piece of Basic Black cardstock for the base of my card. Then I cut a piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock, placed it in the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
Next, I cut a piece of Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper and adhered it to the bottom half of the Fresh Freesia cardstock. I then wrapped a piece of Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon around this layer and tied a knot over to the left. The ribbon does a good job of hiding where the Designer Series Paper and cardstock meet. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the card base.
I stamped the sentiment in Memento ink using the stamp set, Fragrant Flowers, and cut it out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. These dies are a staple in my craft room! I cut a larger rectangle using these same dies in Fresh Freesia cardstock. I adhered the sentiment to the Fresh Freesia rectangle, then added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back, just at the top and bottom. I have found that the sentiment sits better on the card if the Dimensionals aren’t on the ribbon. To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card.

Today I have another card using the Adorable Owls stamp set. I also used Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper and the Gingham Embossing Folder. Both the Adorable Owls stamp set and the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper are free with a qualifying purchase during Sale-a-Bration. Read on for more information!
I started with a piece Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card. Then I layered a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock with a piece of Basic White cardstock that I embossed using the Gingham Embossing Folder. Then, I adhered it to the front of the card.
Next, I layered another piece of Balmy Blue cardstock with Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card. Dandy Designs is a HUGE pack of paper and you can earn it FREE with a $100 purchase.
I stamped the owl using the Adorable Owls stamp set in Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock. I colored the owl using these Stampin’ Blends:
- Crumb Cake Light and Dark
- Pool Party Light
- Balmy Blue Light
- Petal Pink Light
After coloring the owl, I cut him out using the Layering Circles Dies. Using these same dies, I cut a larger scalloped circle out of Balmy Blue and adhered the owl to it. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper.
I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using Memento ink and the stamp set, Easter Bunny. I then cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies (these dies have been out of stock for quite some time but Stampin’ Up! is estimating they’ll be back in stock the week of February 13th). I added adhesive to the top part of the sentiment only and adhered it to the Designer Series Paper layer.
I colored five rhinestones using my Dark Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blend, although it’s hard to tell in the pictures. It’s so nice to be able to color rhinestones to match your card! I have to admit, I forgot about this trick!

Happy Friday!!
Today’s card was created using Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper, Fragrant Flowers Dies and the Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder. Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper can be earned FREE with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-Bration!
I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card. Then I cut a strip of Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper and adhered it to the front of the card. I cut a piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock, placed it inside the Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I then adhered it to the bottom of the card base.
I used the Scalloped Contours Dies to cut a scalloped rectangle out of Basic White cardstock. Then I used the Fragrant Flowers Dies to cut the flowers out on one of the patterns in the Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper. I love when we can use the dies to cut a shape out of our paper! I adhered the flowers to the scalloped rectangle and then added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the rectangle and placed it on the front of my card.
I stamped the sentiment in Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock using the Limited Edition stamp set. I cut it out using the All That Dies. I added adhesive just to the part of the sentiment that would be “sitting” on the scalloped rectangle. To complete my card I added three (two small and one large) Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots.

Today’s card features the very adorable, Adorable Owls stamp set. I also used the stamp set, Around the Bend (for the sentiment and can be purchased in either cling or photopolymer) and Enjoy the Journey Designer Series Paper. The Adorable Owls stamp set can be earned, FREE, with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-Bration!
I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card. Then I layered a piece of Enjoy the Journey Designer Series Paper with a piece of Pale Papaya cardstock and adhered it to the front of the card.
I stamped the cute owl onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Memento ink then cut it out using the Scalloped Contours Dies. I also used these dies to cut a larger scalloped rectangle out of Basic White cardstock. I colored the owl using these Stampin’ Blends:
- Crumb Cake Light and Dark (body)
- Pool Party Light (eyes)
- Balmy Blue Light (eyes)
- Pale Papaya Light (beak and feet)
After I colored the owl, I stamped the sentiment using Memento Ink below the owl. Then, I adhered the smaller rectangle to the larger one. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the larger rectangle and adhered it to the front of the card.
To complete my card, I added five Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots around the owl.

Today’s cards were made using Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper, and the Around the Bend stamp set (you have the option to purchase this stamp set in either cling or photopolymer – see Supply List). Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper is a free gift you can choose when you make a $50 purchase.
I started with a piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock and scored it in two places (you can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List). I cut two pieces of Basic White cardstock and placed them in the Twigs & Sprigs Embossing Folder and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Then I adhered the larger piece to the left side and the smaller piece, on the right.
I cut another piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock and layered it with a piece of Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper. On the back, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the right side and down the middle and then adhered it to the left panel. I stamped the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry ink and cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the Designer Series Paper. To complete the card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.
Here’s another version of the card but I used the Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder.
