Today’s project is a little treat holder I’ve been including in the thank you packages I’ve been sending out to anyone who places an order with me. I think it’s fun to receive a sweet treat every now and then! To make the holders, I used our Happiness Blooms Designer Series and wrapped it up with our Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle ribbon. The sentiment comes from the stamp set Itty Bitty Greetings and it was punched out with the Classic Label Punch. I placed a Mini Glue Dot at the end of the sentiment and tucked it under the ribbon.
I stapled the little treat inside using a stapler with small staples (the one I used is no longer available from Stampin’ Up!). One staple does the trick and keeps it nice and secure inside.
Tomorrow I’ll be sending out my newsletter with a tutorial for this project so if you haven’t yet signed up, you can do so on the right hand sidebar where it says “Keep in Touch.” This will also sign you up to receive an email notification when I post to my blog.
Here are the measurements I used:
- Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper: 6″ x 2-1/2″ Score at 2-1/4″ & 4-3/4″
- Whisper White: scrap for the sentiment
Tomorrow I’ll have another, very similar, treat holder for fun size M&M’s!
If you need any stamping supplies, I’d love to be your demonstrator! You can place an order by clicking any of the images below to go to the homepage of my Stampin’ Up! online store. If you have questions about products you’re considering purchasing or ones you’ve already purchased, I’m just an email away (click the Email Me button on the sidebar of my blog).
Those treat holders are so cute!!
I’m so glad you like them, Sheila! They’re so easy to make, too!!
