It’s Day 2 of my Hello Cupcake Week! All week long I’m sharing cards made with the Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Hello Cupcake. Today’s card actually uses three different Sale-A-Bration gifts (for more information about each of these products, click each image in the Supply List):
- Hello Cupcake stamp set
- Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper
- Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack
The base of my card is Basic Black cardstock (you can find all the measurements after the Supply List) and the next layer is Whisper White cardstock. The black and white paper is from Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper. The next layer is Vellum and I added glue dots in the center where I knew they wouldn’t be seen.
I ran a piece of Whisper White cardstock through the Big Shot using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies. After it was cut out, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black ink. Next, I stamped the cupcake liner, also in Memento Black. At this point, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and added it to the card.
To finish the rest of the cupcake, on a scratch piece of Whisper White, I stamped the frosting in Blackberry Bliss. I stamped off of the paper first and then immediately stamped again onto my Whisper White. The ink is a bit too dark for my taste “full strength” which is why I stamped off first. I fussy cut the frosting, added dimensionals to the back and placed it on the card. I added seven rhinestones for some pretty sparkle!
