My card today was inspired by one done by Mary Fish. It is always fun to do cards that are shaped differently and I used my Scallop Circle Bigz Die for this one as well as the 3 1/2″ Circle Originals die. My ornaments are stamped using Christmas Collectibles and cut out with the Christmas Ornament punch, both from the Holiday catalog. I decided to use Real Red as I’ve been using Cherry Cobbler on many of my cards lately (along with Gumball Green). My sentiment is from the set Christmas Messages. Did you notice that the rhinestone on the exclamation point is red?? I colored my rhinestone using a red permanent marker! To finish the card, I hung my ornaments with our beautiful silver ribbon.

I hope you had an enjoyable Thanksgiving! I don’t know about you but the LAST thing I want to do today is fight the crowds. Just finding a parking space is exhausting! No, hanging out in my comfy clothes, sipping hot chocolate and spending time with my family sounds perfect to me. Now that doesn’t mean that I won’t get some holiday shopping done online today!

Today I have another jar for you! This time I wrapped a strip of our Season of Style paper around the jar with a piece of 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon in Gumball Green. The ornament on the front is from a set in the Holiday Catalog called Christmas Collectibles punched out with the Christmas Ornament Punch. If you purchase these two products together, you save 15%! I love that Stampin’ Up! has so many bundles like this available. I really blinged (I don’t think that is a word) up the top of my jar with Silver Glimmer paper and lots of rhinestones. I love all of the sparkling lights at this time of year so I think this top fits right in!

I’m sure you know someone that you would like to give a little treat to. This is a fun way to wrap it up! The canning jar is oversized and so I was able to fit an entire bag of Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark squares inside. The first thing I did was to wrap a piece of Washi Tape around the outside of the jar. My snowflakes were made with the stamp set Festive Flurry and cut out with the matching Festive Flurry Framelits Dies. Some of the snowflakes were not stamped but just cut out with the Framelits and Silver Glimmer paper. I used dimensionals on each snowflake as I stacked them on top of each other. When I wrote the name on the top it seemed a bit plain so I used the little snowflake in the set Snow Day first. I inked up the stamp, stamped on my grid paper and then onto my circle. As promised, here is another card using the stamp set Ornament Keepsakes and the matching Framelits (on sale until December 2nd). My inspiration came from Deena Boos. Her card used shades of blue and I decided to use traditional Christmas colors. This is another card that can be made quickly especially when using your Framelits to cut the ornaments.

If you’ve been following my blog for quite some time you might recognize this card. I posted it last December and I have to say that it is one of my favorite holiday cards. It is easy to make and very elegant looking. It uses several sets on the Carryover list (you won’t find them in any of the catalogs). I embossed the ornament with Silver Embossing Powder using the stamp set Ornament Keepsakes. I cut the ornament out with the Framelits, which are on sale during our Holiday Sale! My sentiment is from the set Greetings of the Season. I popped up my ornament with several Stampin’ Dimensionals and used one to also adhere my Baker’s Twine underneath my ribbon. Tomorrow I will have another card for you using this same stamp set and Framelits!

I have another card for you using the present template. This time I used the Northern Flurry embossing folder. My Hostess Club made this card and I brought many different embossing folders for them to choose from. This was the one that most of them used on their card. My sentiment is from the stamp set That’s the Ticket. I tucked it under the bow with a Stampin’ Dimensional on each end.

I have another card for you today using one of my favorites this season, Joyful Christmas. Not only does it make beautiful cards but it is on sale until December 2nd!
I used white embossing powder on Real Red and Gumball Green cardstock. My greeting is from the set Joy to the World (Wood #131796 $21.95/ Clear #131799 $16.95).
