I made several thank you cards last week using this set, Bloomin’ Marvelous, which is a Sale-a-bration set. You can receive this stamp set in either clear or wood when you place a $50 order. I love this set and these colors together – Gumball Green and Pacific Point. My sentiment again comes from the set Made for You! I also made this card using the colors Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Old Olive. I sent it off in the mail before taking a picture of it. I can’t wait to try some other color combinations!

Today I’ve decorated one of our Kraft boxes. You can purchase 4 boxes for $2.95 AND they are made out of food-safe material. If you have a catalog you can find them on page 161. I decorated my sides and top with our More Amore Designer Series Paper and Primrose Petals card stock. My oval scallop was cut out of Pool Party DSP and stamped with a sentiment from the set Made for You. It is so quick and easy to put together. Get some yummy chocolate or Almond Roca, place it inside and wrap it up with some Very Vanilla seam binding. Who wouldn’t love to receive candy wrapped up as pretty as can be??

The 12″ x 12″ Early Espresso Album (item 127685) must make an early exit. Stampin’ Up!s supplier will not be able to continue to produce this product without a significant cost increase. They have ultimately decided to discontinue this album. The supply is running low, so order yours now!

Are you ready for one more idea using the stamp Just Thinking, one of the new stamps in the Spring Catalog? My inspiration to use panels came from a card I saw on Angie Juda’s blog. You could change it up and use strips of Designer Series Paper instead of embossed card stock. It is a little hard to tell in the picture but I did stamp the image twice and then used my circle punch to cut out the center. Using dimensionals pops it up and gives it a great effect!!

The inspiration for my card came from Maggie Patterson. In December she had a card like this using a Christmas theme. I thought it was so cute and knew I wanted to try making my own card. Can you see the little slot for the gift card on the left hand side? We made this at my Customer Extravaganza and it was definitely a hit!! The base of my card is 11 x 4 ¼ and I scored it at 2 ½ and 5 ½. I used the Sunshine and Sprinkles Designer Series Paper. Tonight I ordered the Oh, Whale stamp set and the Happy Whale Clearlits. I think they will be so cute with this paper. Can’t wait until my order arrives! AND to receive my free Sale-a-bration product because my order reached $50! We made this card on Saturday at my Sale-a-bration class. Several weeks ago I posted another card using this set and you can see it HERE. I stamped the Thinking of You Friend two times, once in Daffodil Delight and again in Pacific Point. I cut out the Pacific Point center using my 2 1/2 inch Circle punch. I mounted each layer with dimensionals. I don’t know if you can see it but I used my paper piercer and the Festive Paper Piercing Pack around the Pacific Point window frame. I really like the effect that the piercing gives the card.

Today’s card is another version of the card I made HERE. I wanted to use a lighter piece of cardstock for my larger oval so that the paper piercing would be easier to see. We made this card yesterday at my Sale-a-bration Kickoff party. Although you can’t see it on this card, but you can on the other version, I glued one butterfly down and then attached the top one with glue dots. One of my stampers yesterday used the other side of the punched butterfly to glue down and then the opposite side for the top butterfly. It looked really cute!

I had a Spring Catalog and Sale-a-bration Kickoff today at my home. It was a great group of women and I enjoyed having them over to make cards!! Here’s one of the cards we made. It starts off with a piece of 4 1/4 x 11 inch piece of paper which is then scored at 3″ and 8″. Then the two side panels fold in. The little curly label shape with the heart has adhesive on one side so that the left side stays closed! My card today makes me smile. I love all of the bright colors and it almost looks good enough to eat! My inspiration came from Stamp Academy, an online membership site that I joined.
My sentiment is not exactly where I wanted it to go. After I inked up my stamp pad and stamped, I touched my card and realized I still had ink on my hand which of course landed on my card, right near the very bottom of the card. The decision where to put my sentiment was made. I fanned out the scallop ovals so that it was good and covered. I have to say that I like the look and will probably try it again!! There are no mistakes when you are stamping!

I’m loving the combination of Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder so I decided to try using these colors for my butterfly. This is a new stamp in the Spring catalog called Swallowtail. I used Versamark to stamp my butterfly onto Whisper White cardstock. Then I sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I added color using my sponge daubers. I decided to cut it out so that I wouldn’t have to be super careful with my sponging but next time I want to try it directly on Whisper White. I’ve seen many demonstrators using black embossing powder but I didn’t have any. I am happy with the effect the white gives!
My cute sentiment is a stamp set you can receive FREE with a $50 order. It is called Pretty Petites and I used the Petite Curly Label punch which is another FREEBIE!!! It is popped up with dimensionals onto a piece of Pool Party punched out with the 1 1/4 inch Scallop Circle (still available from the Holiday catalog).
