Patterned Occasions

The inspiration for my card came from Connie Babbert.  When I saw her card, I instantly fell in love.  I made a few subtle changes with the products I had on hand.  I love the new Honeycomb Embossing folder and it is so striking on this card!  The beautiful paper comes from the Print Poetry paper stack  (#129312) in the Spring Catalog.  There are 48 sheets – 4 each of 12 double-sided designs and each sheet measure 4 1/2 x 6 1/2.  It really is a beautiful pack of paper!
The cute coffee cup comes from a Sale-a-bration set called Patterned Occasions (Wood #12962  or Clear #129624).  It can be yours FREE with a $50 order but only until March 22nd!!!  If you’ve had your eye on this stamp set, be sure to get it before it’s too late!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope your week has started off well!!

Best of Birthdays

I have another Pocket Card for you.  You can see another one I did HERE.  I love this style of card.  This time I didn’t use a clip but just chose to put my sentiment in the middle. I used a stamp from the set Best of Birthdays.  This is a special stamp set that you can purchase in honor of Stampin’ Up!s 25th anniversary.  A new stamp set will come out each month this year.  Purchase six of them (save the small 25 sticker inside) and Stampin’ Up! will send you a free stamp set valued at $14.95!  Start collecting and saving!!

Hello, Hello

This is a card that can definitely be put in the category cute and quick since it can be made in no time!!  This image is from  the Single Stamp promotion which you can see below.

I used my Stampin’ Up! markers to ink up the stamp.  Once I was done coloring, I huffed on it to “reactivate” the ink.  I used Rich Razzleberry, Gumball Green and Island Indigo.  I decided to add a little pizzazz to it and used the Occasions Piercing Mat to pierce holes around each of my oval shapes.  It is hard to see them on the Rich Razzleberry but it is noticeable in person.

3 x 3 Button Buddies

Today I have more ideas for you using the stamp set Button Buddies.  I made some 3×3 cards with Daffodil Delight as my base as well as my flower.  My different mats are Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango and Tempting Turquoise.  My hello is from the set Tiny Tags and then punched out with the Jewelry punch.  I used the new embossing folder called Cloudy Day. It is so cute!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!  Have a wonderful weekend!  I’ll have another card for you on Monday!

Floral Button Buddies, Again

If my card looks familiar it’s because it is very similar to my post on Monday.  I made just a few changes.  Can you tell what those changes are??

Have a great day!!

Floral Button Buddies

Happy Monday to you!! I spent my weekend playing around in my craft room.  I wanted a card that would be easy for first time stampers and I think this card fits the bill.  I used the flower in Button Buddies and stamped it in Real Red and Pumpkin Pie (I saw this combination on the site of another stamper but I cannot recall her name).  I threaded white Baker’s Twine through a button from the Brights collection and adhered it with several glue dots. My sentiment is from Kindness Matters and I used Chocolate Chip ink.  A quick but cute card!

Have a wonderful day!

Happy Valentine’s Day!!

I hope you can spend some of your day today with someone who is special to you – a spouse, a friend, your child, your loving pet . . . .

Here’s the card that I am giving to someone special in my life.
Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

Blooming with Kindness #3

Today I have another card using the stamp set Blooming with Kindness.  I used Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point.  Truthfully I am not sure what I think of this card. Perhaps a third color might have  added that extra something to it.  What do you think?  I’m learning (slowly) not to be so darn picky about my cards.  You can see other cards I made with this set using different Stampin’ Up! colors  HERE and HERE. My cute sentiment is from the set Curly Cute.

Have a wonderful day!!

Valentine’s Day Card

It’s almost Valentine’s Day! Today I have a card for you that is similar to one I posted a few weeks ago and you can see it here.  My large heart is keeping the card closed and the two panels open up.  I used a 4 1/4 inch piece of paper that I scored at 3 inches and 8 inches.   My hearts on the left hand side were made using the Full Heart punch but the one on the right is from the Hearts a Flutter Framelits.  I love the scalloped edge.  I also used That’s the Ticket stamp set and punched it out with the Ticket Duo Builder punch.  My paper is More Amore from the Spring catalog.   Sweet Friend was punched out with the Petite Curly Label punch which can be yours FREE with a $50 order!  Did you know that the Ciao, Baby! stamp set in the Spring Catalog also has images that can be used with this punch?  for this card, I stamped Sweet Friend from the set Fabulous Phrases and then punched them out.  They fit inside perfectly!!
