I recently purchased a new computer and am trying to learn a new editing software program. My lights that I usually use to take pictures of my cards both stopped working a few months ago so I purchased new lights that I am just not happy with. I am not happy with the way my cards look when photographed. I ordered some new bulbs for my old lights and we will see if that takes care of the problem.
That being said, this card is so MUCH cuter in person. We made it at my Stamp Club last week and they all seemed to really like it!! I have to give credit to Mary Brown. She had a cute a tutorial that I followed and it was very easy to make this card. I am stuck on using the Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder combo. It is such a soft combination.
I used two stamp sets for my flowers, flower pot and butterfly. The butterfly came from A Fitting Occasion in the Annual catalog and the other cuties came from Spring Sampler in the Spring catalog. The card dimensions are 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 which is a different size but will still fit in our envelopes! The openings were made using my 1 1/4 inch Scallop punch. My sentiment is a stamp set that you can get FREE with a $50 order or you could get the cute punch (or both with a $100 order) !! Isn’t this just the cutest card??? I attended Creative Convention Online with Maggie Patterson and Ronda Wade last weekend and this was one of our make and takes. My Whisper White piece slips into the pocket and peeks out at the top. It is so quick and easy to put together but is so stinkin’ adorable! Have you seen the Cute Clips in the Spring catalog? There are two different sets. Hung Up (129389) includes a hanger, arrow and thought bubble. The other set, Elements (129939) has a whale, heart and bird. So cute!
My Happy Birthday stamp is one of the Best of 25 Stamps called Best of Birthdays (132929). I stamped it twice, cut out the banner and applied it with dimensionals. It is the 25th Anniversary of Stampin’ Up! this year and they will be releasing 12 different stamps set, one each month. There will be a little sticker inside each one that you need to save and attach to the collectors card inside the stamps sets beginning with the February set. I really LOVE this new stamp, Swallowtail, in the Spring Catalog. I made another card that you can see here. This time I used glossy paper instead of Whisper White. First, I applied Versamark and white embossing powder and used my heat tool. My ink (Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and More Mustard) was applied all over it using sponge daubers. It glides a bit easier on the glossy paper. Using my two way glue pen, I applied thin lines of glue so I could add Dazzling Diamonds glitter. So, so pretty!! My inspiration came from a card I received from Debbie Buchanan in the mail. I was so taken with her card that I had to try it myself!! Love it!

Today I have another card using the Blooming with Kindness set. My stamped images are in the colors Melon Mambo and Gumball Green and my base is also Gumball Green. The colors are so vibrant! The nice thing about this card is that there’s no right or wrong way to stamp your images, you just go for it! My greeting is from the set Curly Cute!

Gosh, time just got away from me today. I meant to post this card this morning but I couldn’t find a moment to sit down. My Hostess Club group will be making this card this month. It is a very quick and simple card but very striking. This is a stamp set that I put off buying but I really like it. Tomorrow I will have another card using the same set but with different colors and a different layout.

I love this set and these colors together – Gumball Green and Pacific Point. My sentiment again comes from the set Made for You! Today I’ve decorated one of our Kraft boxes. You can purchase 4 boxes for $2.95 AND they are made out of food-safe material. If you have a catalog you can find them on page 161. I decorated my sides and top with our More Amore Designer Series Paper and Primrose Petals card stock. My oval scallop was cut out of Pool Party DSP and stamped with a sentiment from the set Made for You. It is so quick and easy to put together. Get some yummy chocolate or Almond Roca, place it inside and wrap it up with some Very Vanilla seam binding. Who wouldn’t love to receive candy wrapped up as pretty as can be??

Are you ready for one more idea using the stamp Just Thinking, one of the new stamps in the Spring Catalog? My inspiration to use panels came from a card I saw on Angie Juda’s blog. You could change it up and use strips of Designer Series Paper instead of embossed card stock. It is a little hard to tell in the picture but I did stamp the image twice and then used my circle punch to cut out the center. Using dimensionals pops it up and gives it a great effect!!

The inspiration for my card came from Maggie Patterson. In December she had a card like this using a Christmas theme. I thought it was so cute and knew I wanted to try making my own card. Can you see the little slot for the gift card on the left hand side? We made this at my Customer Extravaganza and it was definitely a hit!! The base of my card is 11 x 4 ¼ and I scored it at 2 ½ and 5 ½. I used the Sunshine and Sprinkles Designer Series Paper. Tonight I ordered the Oh, Whale stamp set and the Happy Whale Clearlits. I think they will be so cute with this paper. Can’t wait until my order arrives! AND to receive my free Sale-a-bration product because my order reached $50! We made this card on Saturday at my Sale-a-bration class. Several weeks ago I posted another card using this set and you can see it HERE. I stamped the Thinking of You Friend two times, once in Daffodil Delight and again in Pacific Point. I cut out the Pacific Point center using my 2 1/2 inch Circle punch. I mounted each layer with dimensionals. I don’t know if you can see it but I used my paper piercer and the Festive Paper Piercing Pack around the Pacific Point window frame. I really like the effect that the piercing gives the card.
