My colors are Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive and definitely not a combination I would have chosen on my own. I checked my Color Coach (page 151 in the Annual Catalog) and it said they would look good together and they certainly do! I used the Festive Paper Piercing Pack (another carryover from the Holiday Catalog) to add the piercing around each of my shapes. I have some thank you cards to send out and this one will definitely be sent off!

You can now order from the Spring Catalog!!! Yea!!! My card uses another stamp set from the new catalog called Just Thinking. I like this stamp set because sometimes you just want to send a card to a friend for no particular reason except that you are thinking of them. Of course it could also be used to send when a friend is going through a difficult time.
My colors are Gumball Green and Midnight Muse. I love this color combination! I stamped my image twice, one in each color. Then I used my 2 1/2″ circle punch to cut out the center of the Gumball Green. You could trim it up a bit but I was happy with it. The Window Frames Framelits are still available from the Holiday Catalog and I used them to cut my stamped images. I used dimensionals to pop up the circle and then again on the bottom layer. It seemed a bit plain to me so I added the pearls to the top and bottom as well a larger one at the top.

Happy New Year!!! Today is the last day to order from the Holiday Catalog!! Be sure to order those items that you can’t live without! I know that I am going to order a few things myself! It is also the last day to order single stamps.

Today I have a sneak peek for you from the Spring Catalog! My little bird is from the set Spring Sampler. There are 24 stamps in the set and they are ALL so cute!! My paper is from Print Poetry which is a new Designer Series paper pack. Each sheet is 4 1/2″ by 6 1/2″ and there are 48 pages of double sided paper! I punched my bird out with the 1 1/4″ Scallop circle punch. This punch was in Holiday catalog but will still be available after tomorrow!! I’m so glad because the Scallop circle punches are my favorites!

Yesterday I delivered Stampin’ Up! orders and this morning the hostess, Amy, sent me this picture of lollipop holders she made with her new Stampin’ Up! goodies. All of the products are not Stampin’ Up but she used our DSP, Holiday Collection Framelits and the Scentsational Season stamp set. I feel so bad that I haven’t posted in quite a few days. I wish I could say that I’ve been out shopping and getting ready for the holidays but its been other things – root canal, doctors visits, adjusting to medication that makes me so tired, etc. Yuk. My card today uses the Snow Flurry Bigz die that will only be available until January 2, 2013!! You can find it in the Holiday Catalog on page 14. There’s even a sample card using the die on that page as well. This card was inspired by one that I saw in Stampin’ Success which is a magazine that demonstrators receive every other month. My card today was made by Jenica, who is a member of my hostess club but also a member of my downline! Today I have a card for you that we made at my Hostess Club on Sunday. One of the members, Abbey, made the comment that it is so relaxing to color and I have to say that I agree. We are never too old to use some crayons or colored pencils and make a beautiful card! We actually used our Watercolor Wonder Crayons and a blender pen to color in these cute snowmen. The fine tip on the blender pen makes it quite easy to color in those small areas.
