Thoughts of You

Hi Friends!
Doesn’t this card just scream SPRING??!!  I am looking forward to warmer mornings – it makes it so much easier to jump out of bed and get ready for school!
We made this card at Abbey’s workshop and at my Hostess Club last month.  My inspiration for this card came from fellow demonstrator, Mary Fish.  She used one flower and used only black and white.  I love the Daffodil Delight and Concord Crush combination.  Concord Crush is an In Color that will be retiring June 1st when the new catalog comes out.  I love purple so I will be very sad to lose this color.  I will have to stock up on it before it goes away.
My card uses the Mixed Bunch stamp set and the Blossom punch from the Occasions Mini catalog.  I keep reaching for this stamp set and find that I like every card I create with it.  The background and the inside of my flower uses a stamp which is included in Mixed Bunch.  My sentiment comes from the stamp set Loving Thoughts, also in the Occasions Mini.  I wish I had started using this set when it first came out.  It stamps very nicely and I think it adds some elegance to my card.

Big Shot Lattice Die

Hi Friends!
We made the top card at my Hostess Club on Thursday. Both of the cards use the Lattice Die and the colors Poppy Parade and Lucky Limeade but in different ways.  I still can’t decide which way I prefer.  On the second card I ran the smaller section through the Big Shot and popped it up with dimensionals.  I CASED myself with a card I made in December (you can see it here) and another one here. It really makes a very different looking card each time.  The DSP, Everyday Enchantment, that I used can be yours free with a $50 order until March 31st.  I LOVE this paper and will be so sorry to see it go.

Sale-a-Bration Freebie

My card today is one that we made at Abbey’s workshop last week.  The card uses one of the stamps that you can get FREE during Sale-a-bration!!  It is the Triple Treat Flower stamp.  You can also purchase it in the Idea Book and Catalog but if you place a $50 order, the stamp can be yours for FREE.  I love the versatility of this stamp.  I stamped it twice using my Pacific Point stamp pad and Melon Mambo.  Then I used the Fancy Flower punch and punched out the Pacific Point flower.  I used the 5 Petal Flower punch for the inside Melon Mambo section.  Some dimensionals help to pop the flower up! I also added some dimension with my Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder and my Big Shot.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Ugly Black Exclamation Point

For those of you who visit my blog, I wanted to let you know that I am aware that instead of my cute signature, I now have a big black exclamation point.  I am looking into how to get rid of this.  🙁

Mixed Bunch

I hope you are having a fun weekend!  I had a chance to make several cards today and this was one of them.  It has been an extremely hectic week at school. I’ve been working on report cards non-stop for the past few weeks so it was nice to have some me time today.  I love this new Mixed Bunch stamp set and the new Blossom punch.  I was playing around with different colors and really like how the Concord Crush and Daffodil Delight look together.

Everyday Enchantment

Isn’t this paper BEAUTIFUL?  I love it!  You can get this paper for FREE!  You can choose free products for every $50 you spend during Sale-a-bration!  If you would like to see the other items you can choose from, you can download the catalog by clicking the Sale-a-bration icon on the left.

I used Lucky Limeade and Pool Party cardstock for the base of my card and my flowers.  After punching my flowers out with the new Blossom Punch, I ran them through the Big Shot and the Finial Press embossing folder.  The center of my flower was stamped in Pool Party ink with the Fresh Vintage Stamp set (another Sale-a-bration free product).  The adorable brad can also be yours for free as it is included in the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad pack.  “Thank you” is from one of my favorite sets called Short and Sweet.

More Occasions Mini New Products

Hi Friends,
Hope you are having a good weekend so far! Today’s project was made using the Hearts Framelits.  I cut out two of the largest hearts and attached them together around the edges using Sticky Strip but I left a small opening for a few pieces of chocolate. I used one more heart in Pirouette Pink and embossed it with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.  The next sized heart was made with my Big Shot and the Scalloped Heart of Hearts embossilit die.  I stamped the heart in Real Red using the new stamp set Take It to Heart and cut it out by hand. Then I attached it with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.

You can order Stampin’ Up! products 24/7 by visiting my SU! website! Did you know that you can choose one free product in the Sale-a-bration catalog for every $50 you spend?   This offer is good until March 31st!

The New Labels Collection!

Today’s card uses another one of the new Framelits – the Labels Collection.  The collection comes with six dies, my card shows you three of the sizes.  The largest one is 5 7/16 inches wide.   This is the only card I’ve made with this collection so I am looking forward to trying it out in so many different ways.  I’ve also used the new pleated ribbon which is so pretty in person! My colors are Rich Razzleberry and Pear Pizzazz.

Thank you for stopping by.  You can order 24/7 on my SU! website.  If you have any questions, let me know!

Valentine Friend

Valentine’s Day will be here before you know it!  Have you made your cards?  Here is a very easy card using the Heart Framelits dies.  I used it to cut a heart through the top layer of my card on the right hand side.  Then I adhered a red heart to the inside of my card, again using the Framelit die.  I stamped the heart on the right with the I (Heart) Hearts stamp set and I cut the heart out by hand.  Friend was made using the With All My Heart stamp set.  I embossed the front of my card and the heart on the left with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.  Easy!

Owl Thanks

My cards today are ones I made for my second graders to thank them for some wonderful gifts they gave me.  I made the pink cards for the girls and the green ones for the boys. We studied owls in class so I thought they might like the little owl from the stamp set Fox & Friends. I hope they like them!
