Stampin’ Up! Texture Chic Designer Series Paper

I needed a birthday card for my uncle so I made today’s card for him and mailed it off. I have a hard time making cards for males. I always ask my husband, is this card too girly and usually it is! I used Texture Chic Specialty Designer Series Paper and the stamp sets, Peaceful Moments and Artistically Inked. You can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List.

I started with a piece of Soft Succulent cardstock and scored it in two places and then folded on the score lines to create my card base. I cut two pieces of Texture Chic Designer Series Paper and adhered them to the front panels. I stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink (you could also use Soft Succulent ink) using the stamp set, Peaceful Moments, and cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I used these same dies to cut a larger circle out of Gold Foil, and adhered the sentiment to it. On the back, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals, just at the top and adhered it to the top panel.

I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock for the inside of the card. I added a strip of Texture Chic Designer Series Paper to the top and bottom and stamped the sentiment using Soft Succulent ink and the stamp set, Artistically Inked. Then I adhered it to the inside of the card.

Stampin’ Up! Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folders

The colors for today’s card was inspired by fellow demonstrator, Susan Campfield. The card isn’t on her blog but I saw it on Instagram. I thought the colors she used were so beautiful together that I wanted to create my own card! I used the stamp set, Limited Edition, one of the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folders, Stylish Shapes Dies and the Layering Circles Dies.

I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card. Then I layered a piece of Highland Heather cardstock with Fresh Freesia cardstock and adhered it to the front of the card (I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Highland Heather returns and Fresh Freesia is added to the collection). You can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List.

I cut four 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ cardstock squares out of Pool Party, Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia and Highland Heather. Then I placed them in one of the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folders and ran them through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock, adhered the squares to it and then adhered the square to the front of the card. I cut a piece of Highland Heather cardstock and ran it through the Cut & Emboss Machine using the same embossing folder. After adhering it to the front of the card, I added three Glossy Dots to the strip.

I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Highland Heather ink and the stamp set, Limited Edition. Next, I cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I cut a scalloped circle out of Fresh Freesia cardstock using the Layering Circles Dies and layered it with the sentiment.  I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.

Here’s another version of the card without the Fresh Freesia scalloped circle.

Stampin’ Up! Country Gingham Designer Series Paper

Today’s card was created using Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, Painted Texture Embossing Folder, Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch and the stamp set, Cottage Rose

I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card and then added a piece of Mint Macaron cardstock. I then embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Painted Texture Embossing Folder and adhered it to the Mint Macaron cardstock.

I used the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch to cut two pieces of Country Gingham Designer Series Paper and two pieces of Mint Macaron cardstock.  I embossed the Mini Macaron pieces using the Painted Texture Embossing Folder. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of each rectangle and then placed them on the front of the card.

I stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink onto Basic White using the stamp set, Cottage Rose.  I cut it out using the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch then added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the card. To complete my card, I added three Basic Rhinestones below the sentiment.

Here’s another version of today’s card.  This is actually the card I made first. I decided it was a bit flat for my taste (but it’s flatter to mail) so I carefully took the pieces off and added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of each rectangle. This card is also vertical rather than horizontal.

Yesterday I shared three cards using the same layout and today I have two more! If you missed yesterday’s post, you can see it HERE. Just like yesterday, I used Butterfly Kisses 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, Go To Greetings stamp set and the Stylish Shapes Dies

I started with a piece of Parakeet Party cardstock for the base of my card. Then I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock, placed it inside the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder, ran it through the Cut & Emboss Machine and then adhered it to the front of the card. I cut two pieces of Parakeet Party cardstock (you can find the measurements I used below the Supply List) and layered them with two different patterns of Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper. I adhered the bottom piece with Multipurpose Glue but added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the other one before adhering it to the front of the card.

I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Parakeet Party ink and the stamp set, Go to Greetings. I cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the card. To complete my card, I added three Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems to the front of the card.

Here’s another version using all of the same products.

Stampin’ Up! Speedy Recovery

Today’s card was created using the Stampin’ Up! stamp set Speedy Recovery. I needed a small sentiment to put in the corner and I found “I miss you” from the stamp set, Cup of Tea worked perfectly! I also used the Stylish Shapes Dies and 2022-2024 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper

I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card (you can find the measurements I used below the Supply List). Then, I layered a piece of Orchid Oasis cardstock with a piece of In Color Designer Series Paper in Sweet Sorbet on both sides of the card. I also added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card.

I used the two largest square dies in the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut a piece of Orchid Oasis cardstock and Basic White cardstock (the two smallest squares on my card). Then, I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock and adhered the Orchid Oasis square to it. I stamped the flowers onto the small Basic White square using Memento Ink and the stamp set, Speedy Recovery. I colored it using these Stampin’ Blends:

  • Sweet Sorbet
  • Orchid Oasis
  • Granny Apple Green
  • Daffodil Delight

When I finished coloring, I stamped “I Miss You” in Sweet Sorbet ink, in the corner, using the stamp set, Cup of Tea.

To complete my card, I added three 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots in Orchid Oasis around the flowers.

Before sharing my card with you today, I want to announce the winner of my Blog Candy Giveaway! I read every single entry and immensely enjoyed reading how each of you go through a brand new catalog. I like to go from cover to cover very slowly, taking it all in. Then I go through it again and start writing down in my notebook what I’d like to purchase. Thanks so much to those of you who left a comment. I wish you could all win but I picked one name and you can find it below!

The winner of the Calming Camellia stamp set is :

Roberta Staschel

Roberta said: “I look at each and every page several times!”

Congratulations, Roberta! You have 24 hours to email me your address!

Click the “Email Me” button on the sidebar.

Today’s Card

Today’s card is a fun fold that features the Simply Fabulous stamp set, Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders and the Brilliant Wings Dies.

I started with a piece of Orchid Oasis cardstock for the base of my card. Then I used a piece of Sweet Sorbet cardstock, scored it in two places and adhered it to the base of the card, making sure that the larger flap was at the bottom so that the top flap could fold over the bottom one. You can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List,

I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card.  Then, I cut a piece of Country Gingham Designer Series Paper and adhered it to the bottom panel. I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock, placed it inside one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I adhered this piece to the top panel. The Basics 3D Embossing Folders are currently on the Low Inventory List so if you’ve been thinking about purchasing them, I recommend getting them now.

I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut a square out of Basic White cardstock, Then, I placed it in my Stamparatus and stamped the sentiment in Orchid Oasis ink using the stamp set, Simply Fabulous. The Stamparatus is great for getting a dark, crisp image because the powerful magnets hold the paper in place and you can stamp over and over again until you’re happy with results.

I adhered the sentiment to a piece of Sweet Sorbet cardstock and then on the back, I added two rows of Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered the piece to the top panel.

I used the Brilliant Wings Dies to cut a butterfly out of Orchid Oasis cardstock.  I cut a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional in half and placed the two pieces down the middle of the butterfly and adhered it to the sentiment piece. To finish my card, I added an Iridescent Pearl to the butterfly.

Stampin’ Up! Flowers & More Designer Series Paper

Today’s card was created using Flowers & More Designer Series Paper. This is a host only gift that you can choose when your order reaches $150 because then you start earning Stampin’ Rewards. You can find this pack of paper on page 90 in the Mini Catalog. I also used the stamp set, Love Cats and the Stylish Shapes Dies

I started with a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock for the base of my card (you can find the measurements I used below the Supply List). Then I added a layer of Fresh Freesia cardstock. This is one of the In Colors that will be retiring but with the Color Refresh, it could possibly be back (I’m keeping my fingers crossed). If you love this color and will be disappointed if it isn’t coming back, you’ll want to be sure to stock up on ink refills and cardstock in this color just as soon as you can. The stamp pad has been on the Low Inventory List since last week. You can see some of the Fresh Freesia products here

I cut a piece of Flowers & More Designer Series Paper that measures  3-3/4″ x 3″. I put the 3-3/4″ edge at the top of my trimmer and cut 3/4″ strips for a total of five. Then I glued them to a piece of Basic White cardstock and then adhered this piece to the Fresh Freesia.

I stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using the stamp set, Love Cats. I cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. Then, I cut a larger stitched circle, using the same dies, out of Fresh Freesia. I adhered the two pieces together, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the center of the card. To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside and added three Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems, in Fresh Freesia, around the sentiment.

Supply List

Below you’ll find all the Stampin’ Up! supplies I used for today’s card. If you need any stamping supplies, I’d love to be your demonstrator! You can place an order by clicking any of the images below to go to my Stampin’ Up! online store.

Measurements

  • Blackberry Bliss cardstock: 11″ x 4-1/4″  score at 5-1/2″
  • Fresh Freesia cardstock: 5-1/4″ x 4″
  • Fresh Freesia cardstock: approx. 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″
  • Basic White cardstock (the strips will be glued to this piece): 5″ x 3-3/4″
  • Basic White cardstock (inside): 5-1/4″ x 4″
  • Basic White cardstock (sentiment):  approx. 2-1/4″ x 2-1/4″
  • Flowers & More Designer Series Paper: 3-3/4″ x 3″ cut into 3/4″ strips

Blog Candy Giveaway

I haven’t done a Blog Candy Giveaway in a long time so today is the day! One lucky participant will win the Calming Camellia stamp set. This was a host only stamp set during Sale-a-Bration last year and it was very popular!

How to Play: For your chance to win the Calming Camellia stamp set, simply answer the question below in the Comments section at the bottom of the post.

Question: When you browse through the Stampin’ Up! catalog for the first time, which section do you look at first? Do you go right to a certain section or do you go through the book from cover to cover?

Deadline: The deadline to leave a comment to be entered to win is Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 6:00 pm Pacific Time. I’ll randomly choose a comment and announce the winner Thursday, March 16th on my Stamping with Tracy blog.

Please note: I only ship within the United States. The winner will have 24 hours to email me their name and mailing address so be sure to check back on Thursday!

Stampin’ Up! Full of Love

Before sharing my cards with you today, I want to let you know that four out of five 2021-2023 In Color Stamp Pads are on the Low Inventory List. At this point, we don’t know if these colors will be making a comeback in the Color Refresh but if they aren’t, they will sell out soon. I know this is frustrating not knowing which colors are retiring (it is for me too) but if you have a favorite color, in any shade, be sure to get extra ink refills and any other items associated with that color. We’ll know in a few weeks what colors are retiring but it’s anyone’s guess right now.

These stamp pads are on the Low Inventory List

I have two cards to share with you today and they are a variation of a card I shared last month.  You can see that card HERE. I used the stamp sets, Full of Love and Sentimental Park, Stitched Rectangles Dies and Scalloped Contours Dies

I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card. Then I used a sheet of Orchid Oasis Designer Series Paper from the In Color 2022-2024 Assortment Pack and cut it using the Scalloped Contours Dies. After adhering it to the Thick Basic White cardstock, I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut a rectangle out of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the flowers and envelope from the Full of Love stamp set in Memento Ink. I used the stamp set, Sentimental Park, to stamp the sentiment in Memento Ink.

I colored the flowers and leaves using these Stampin’ Blends:

  • Orchid Oasis
  • Daffodil Delight
  • Sweet Sorbet
  • Granny Apple Green

After coloring, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the rectangle and adhered it to the front of the card. I cut two 8″ pieces of White Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack and made a bow. I added a small amount of glue to the paper and then adhered the bow.

For this next card, I used a sheet of Highland Heather in the Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Assortment Pack (which is also on the Low Inventory List and may retire once it’s gone because it may contain retiring colors). I used all the same products except I used the Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends to color the flowers on the right.

Supply List

Below you’ll find all the Stampin’ Up! supplies I used for today’s card. If you need any stamping supplies, I’d love to be your demonstrator! You can place an order by clicking any of the images below to go to my Stampin’ Up! online store.

Measurements

  • Thick Basic White cardstock: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″  score at 4-1/4″
  • Designer Series Paper: approx. 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″
  • Basic White cardstock: approx. 5″ x 3-1/2″
  • Baker’s Twine:  (2) 8″ pieces

Request a Stampin’ Up! 2023-2024 Annual Catalog

It’s almost time for the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog! This year I’m implementing something new. I’m requesting that my customers fill out a form to have a new catalog sent to their home. I’m always happy to send complimentary copies of our catalogs to my customers but due to the rising cost of postage, I’m asking that you request one (it will still be complimentary). Normally I’d send a new catalog to anyone who has ordered from me in the past six months but I know that many of my customers shop with several different demonstrators and again due to the rising costs of mailing, I’d rather have you request a catalog so that you don’t have several catalogs from several different demonstrators.  Thanks so much for your understanding!!

If you are a customer of mine and would like to have the Annual Catalog mailed to you and you’ve ordered from me in the last six months, please click HERE

If you aren’t a customer of mine but would like a catalog, just email me (click the button on the sidebar) and I can send you a PayPal invoice.

Online Exclusives

The Online Exclusives products will not be in a catalog but can be ordered online. When they aren’t in a catalog, it’s hard to know what’s available so I created a two page flyer with all the NEW products that were released. You’ll find all the item numbers, an image of the products and prices. You can access the flyer here or click the image below. For more information about each product, click on the images on the flyer.

Host Code

Use the host code YSARVYSA to receive a package of 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots with your $50 or more online order. This offer ends on April 7th. Once the promotion is over, I’ll order the Decorative Dots and when I receive them, I’ll mail them out (although I do have some on hand right now).

Stampin’ Up! Elephant Parade Bundle

Today’s card was created using the Elephant Parade Bundle which includes the Elephant Parade stamp set and the Elephant Dies.  I also used the stamp set, By My Side, Country Gingham Designer Series Paper and one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders

I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card. Then, I layered a piece of Mint Macaron cardstock with a piece of Basic White cardstock and adhered the layer to the base of the card. I cut a piece of Country Gingham Designer Series Paper and adhered it to the front of the card.

I cut a piece of Mint Macaron cardstock and placed it in inside one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders and ran it through the Cut & Emboss Machine. I adhered this piece to the front of the card.

Next, I layered a piece of Gray Granite cardstock with a piece of Basic White cardstock that I embossed using the same embossing folder that I used for the Mint Macaron. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.

Stampin Up By My Side

I stamped the sentiment in Memento ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock and then colored the elephant using these Stampin’ Blends:

  • Gray Granite (Light and Dark)
  • Petal Pink (Light)

I cut the elephant out using the Elephant Dies and then set it aside.  I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using the stamp set, By My Side, and Mint Macaron ink and cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. The die I used was longer than I would need so when I cut it out, I made sure the sentiment was over to the right. I glued the sentiment to the elephant and then added adhesive to the back of the elephant and sentiment (except for the part that hangs over the Gray Granite layer) and adhered the elephant to the front of the card.

To complete my card I added five 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds to the front of the card. These gems are in Soft Succulent but I think they match really well with the Mint Macaron Designer Series Paper.

Online Exclusives

Last week many new products went live. These products will not be in a catalog but can be ordered online. When they aren’t in a catalog, it’s hard to know what’s available so I created a two page flyer with all the NEW products that were released last week. You’ll find all the item numbers, an image of the products and prices. You can access the flyer here or click the image below. For more information about each product, click on the images on the flyer.
