This week it’s all about using your paper and today my card features Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper. There are so many fun patterns in this package of 12″ x 12″ paper and it’s one of many products in the Toil & Trouble Suite from the Holiday Catalog.
Two other products in the Toil & Trouble Suite are the Cauldron Framelits Dies which I used to cut out the witch and cat from the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper and the stamp set Cauldron Bubble. The witch die only cuts out one of the witch images on the paper but will cut all the hat images, cauldrons and cats (see the picture above). With the stamp set, you can cut and color as many stamped images as you’d like and cut away to your hearts content. This is a great set to use with your Stampin’ Blends!
When you purchase both the Cauldron Bubble stamp set and the Cauldron Framelits together, using the special Cauldron Bundle codes, you’ll save 10% (wood #147713 clear #147710).
My card today was pretty straightforward to make. I cut the squares of Designer Series Paper and adhered them to a piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock which was then glued to a base of Highland Heather. I stamped the sentiment from Cauldron Bubble in Gorgeous Grape ink, attached it to a piece of Highland Heather cardstock and then added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back before attaching it to the card. I used our Mini Dimensionals (these are so great for small pieces) on the back of the witch and cat for some added dimension. Three rhinestones finished the card!
The Measurements I Used
Highland Heather cardstock (base): 4-1/4″ x 11″ 2-1/2″ x 4″
Gorgeous Grape cardstock: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper: (2) 2-1/2″ X 2-1/2″
Whisper White: 2-1/4′ X 3-3/4″
