I love using Designer Series Paper to create my cards and my favorite in the new catalog is Hues of Happiness. I love flowers and the colors used in this paper are so vibrant and beautiful plus you can cut many of the flowers out using the coordinating Blossoming Happiness Dies. Today’s card combines Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper with the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes.

I started with one of the card bases in the Tea Boutique Cards and Envelopes Pack (you can see another card I made with a different card base here). Then I stamped the teacup in Starry Sky ink (one of the new In Colors) using the Cup of Tea stamp set and cut it out using the Teacup Dies (these two products can be purchased together in the Cup of Tea Bundle).

Next I cut two flowers and three sets of leaves out of Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper using the Blossoming Happiness Dies. These dies can be purchased separately but the Happiness Abounds Bundle is available which includes the Happiness Abounds stamp set and Blossoming Happiness Dies. I used Multipurpose Glue to adhere the bottom flower and popped the top one up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tucked the leaves in around the flowers.

I stamped the sentiment in Starry Sky ink using the stamp set, Cup of Tea, and cut it out using the Layering Circles Dies. I popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. To complete my card, I added three 2022 -2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots to the front of the card.

Today’s card features Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper. Nothing says spring quite like flowers and I think we could all use a little spring! I also used the Flowering Tulips stamp set for my sentiment.

I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock. I layered two pieces of Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper with two pieces of Rich Razzleberry cardstock (you can find the measurements I used below the Supply List). I adhered the bottom layer to the card front using Multipurpose Glue but used Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the flowery piece. I love dimension on my cards and 99% of the time, pop up at least one of the layers.

I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using Rich Razzleberry ink and the stamp set, Flowering Tulips, and cut it out using the Layering Circles Dies. I used these same dies to cut a larger, scalloped circle out of Rich Razzleberry and then adhered the two pieces together. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card. To complete my card, I added three Polished Dots to the Designer Series Paper.

Bundle Alert: The Flowering Tulips Bundle includes the Flowering Tulips stamp set and the Tulips Dies. You always save 10% when a bundle is purchased.

Today’s card is a sneak peek of products that will be available on May 3,2022 when the new Stampin’ Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalog goes live!! I can hardly wait!

I started with a piece of Pool Party cardstock for my card base. Then I ran a piece of Basic White cardstock through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder (new product – you can find a list of all the new products I used in the Supply List below). Before adhering the embossed Basic White cardstock to the front of the card, I added a strip of Hues of Happiness 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (new product). This paper is GORGEOUS!!!! Stampin’ Up! knocked it out of the park with this paper.

I used the Layering Circles Dies to cut a scalloped circle out of Pool Party cardstock and a circle out of Basic White cardstock. Before adhering the smaller circle to the Pool Party circle, I stamped the sentiment in Pool Party ink using the stamp set, Happiness Abounds (new product). I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the card front. The Happiness Abounds Bundle (new product) includes the Happiness Abounds stamp set and the Blossoming Happiness Dies.

This next part was so easy!! I used the Blossoming Happiness Dies (new product) to cut the flowers and leaves out of the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper! I used Mini Glue Dots and Multipurpose Glue to attach the leaves and flowers together and then added them to the circle. To complete the card, I added three Pool Party Dots from the Glossy Dots Assortment (new product) to the front of the card. The other colors included in the package are Gorgeous Grape, Melon Mambo, and Daffodil Delight. These dots are colorful, glossy and gorgeous!

by Tracy | Feb 23, 2022 | Card Sampler, Layering Circles Dies
Happy Wednesday!
Today’s cards were made using Stampin’ Up! Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper and the Peaceful Moments stamp set. This paper is a different size than we’ve carried before (4″ x 6″) and one side of this double-sided paper has gold accents so I used our Gold Foil Sheets on both cards.

I started with a piece of Polished Pink cardstock and then added a layer of Gold Foil and another piece of Polished Pink that I embossed using the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder.

Then I layered a piece of Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper with a piece of Basic White cardstock. I wrapped a piece of white ribbon (from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack) around the two layers and tied a knot. I placed Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back and adhered it to the front of the card. The sentiment was stamped in Polished Pink and cut out with the Layering Circles Dies. I cut a larger scalloped circle out of Gold Foil, adhered the two together, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the top and bottom (I didn’t put any in the middle so they weren’t sitting on the ribbon) and placed it on the card. To complete the card, I added three Brushed Brass Butterflies.

I created this next card first and afterwards decided I wanted a piece of Gold Foil for the second layer. I used Blushing Bride and Balmy Blue cardstock and the sentiment was stamped in Balmy Blue. The Blushing Bride cardstock was embossed using the Painted Texture Embossing Folder and I placed five Polished Dots on the front of the card. You can find the measurements I used below the Supply List.
