The Wishing You Well stamp set is one that carried over from the Holiday Catalog so you won’t find it any of our current catalogs but you can still order it! I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it will make it into the new Annual Catalog and won’t be on the Retiring List which comes out in the next few weeks.
Wishing You Well is currently available in Wood and Clear Mount. As I’ve mentioned previously, wood mount stamp sets will no longer be available in the new catalog (debuts in June), with the exception of background stamps. Stampin’ Up! introduced Cling Stamps in the Occasions Catalog and I love them! The new stickers make it so stamps don’t fall off the block! The stamp is still the same high quality red rubber we expect from Stampin’ Up! but the difference is all in that sticker!
Starting with the new catalog, all new stamps will be available in either Cling or Photopolymer. Should this stamp set return, it will transition to either cling or photopolymer.
I want to also mention that Wishing You Well is one of our Distinktive stamp sets. Distinktive stamps give you photo-realistic images with just one stamp. This month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit features a Distinktive stamp set. For information about the April Kit, click here.
I used Gingham Gala 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and yes, it’s back in stock! I stamped the images in Lemon Lime Twist (soon to be retired color) and Gorgeous Grape. It was such an easy card to create and I love the simplicity of it.
- Cut a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock that measures 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score at 5-1/2″ and fold in half.
- Cut a piece of Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper that measures 5-1/4″ x 4″. Attach to the front of the card.
- Cut a rectangle out of Whisper White cardstock using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies. Stamp the images onto this piece ( I used Lemon Lime Twist and Gorgeous Grape ink). Be sure to add the sentiment at the bottom. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and attach to the front of the card.
- Make a bow using Linen Thread. To give the bow a fuller look, I used two pieces. On the back of the knot, add a small amount of Multipurpose Glue and then attach to the card to finish it!
If you need any stamping supplies, I’d love to be your demonstrator! You can place an order by clicking any of the images below to go to the homepage of my Stampin’ Up! online store. If you have questions about products you’re considering purchasing or ones you’ve already purchased, I’m just an email away (click the Email Me button on the sidebar of my blog).
There are just a few days left to receive one of my Needlepoint Nook Card Kits when you use my special host code and place a minimum $50 order (before shipping/tax). You’ll receive enough supplies to make eight cards, two of each design. All the information about the card kit can be found here.
