Today I have another sneak peek of new products debuting on January 5, 2023 in the January – April Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog! The new products are:
- Love Cats stamp set #160410
- Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper #160375
I started with a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock for the base of my card. Then I ran a piece of Basic White cardstock through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Into the Clouds Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card base. I cut a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock and adhered a piece of Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper (available January 5th) to the front and then adhered it to the left side of the card base.
I used my Stamparatus to stamp the cute cat from the stamp set, Love Cats (available January 5th). If you want a really bold image, the Stamparatus is perfect for the job because you can keep stamping in the same place. I stamped the cat on Basic White cardstock using Memento ink and then cut him out using the Layering Circles Dies. I colored the heart using my Real Red Dark Stampin’ Blend. I cut another, larger, scalloped circle, again using the Layering Circles Dies, and adhered the cat to the front. Then I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.
I stamped my sentiment in Memento Ink using the stamp set Framed Florets and cut it out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it below the cat.
To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card and added three Iridescent Pearls to the front.

Today’s card is a sneak peek of several new products that will be available in the January – April 2023 Mini Catalog. This brand new catalog will go live on January 5th!
If you saw my post on Friday, this is the same card but with new products. If you missed Friday’s post, you can see it here.
I started with a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock and then added a layer of Night of Navy cardstock. I cut another piece of Balmy Blue cardstock, scored it in two places and adhered the back to the card base using Multipurpose Glue. I cut two pieces of Regency Park 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (available January 5th) and adhered them to the two flaps (one is a little bit larger than the other).
I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using Night of Navy ink and the stamp set, Something Fancy (available January 5th). I cut the sentiment out using the Something Fancy Dies (available January 5th) and cut the same shape but just a little bit larger in Balmy Blue cardstock and layered the two pieces together. I used the Framed Florets Dies to cut a sprig out of Night of Navy cardstock and adhered it to the back of the sentiment piece with Mini Glue Dots. Then, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the top half of the sentiment piece and adhered it to the top flap.
The Something Fancy Stamp Set and the Something Fancy Dies are also available together in the Something Fancy Bundle. If you purchase the bundle, you’ll save 10% (also available January 5th)
To complete my card, I added three Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots (available January 5th) to the sentiment and added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.

If you’re in need of a last minute gift card holder for a gift card you’re giving this holiday season (like I did), then I have one that’s easy to make! I’m sharing two using Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper (it’s on sale for $4.80) and the Brightest Glow stamp set. I have a third one using Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper which unfortunately has already sold out.
This first card was made with Early Espresso cardstock (you can find the measurements I used below the Supply List). I scored my cardstock in two different places and folded it in half and then the other one was folded to make a pocket. I added a piece of Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper to the pocket and then added another piece inside the card. On this card I used a 1″ Circle Punch (Stampin’ Up! no longer sells this punch) to cut a notch in the pocket but after making a third one, I realized, I didn’t really need to do this step as the gift card is really easy to get out of the pocket. I added Tear & Tape to the sides of the pocket and folded it up.
I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock and added another piece of Designer Series Paper at the top and adhered it to the inside of the card. I folded the card up and then wrapped a piece of Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon around the card (I added the ribbon so that the present could actually be unwrapped). I stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink onto Basic White cardstock using the stamp set, Brightest Glow, and cut it out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card. To complete my card, I added three Festive Pearls to the sentiment.
For this next card, I used Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper, Real Red cardstock, Real Red ink, Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Real Red & Garden Green Ribbon (from the Mini Catalog).
For this last card, I used Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper which I mentioned above is no longer available but if you were able to get it before it sold out, you can give this card a try. I also used Real Red & Garden Green Ribbon, Real Red ink and Rhinestone Basic Jewels. For this card, I did NOT cut the notch out of the pocket and you can see that it’s just fine.

Today’s card is the card I made for my mom’s birthday this year. She celebrated her 91st birthday a few days ago!! I’m so lucky to still have my mom.
I started with a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock for the base of my card (you can find the measurements I used below the Supply List). Then I added a piece of Night of Navy cardstock. Next, I cut another piece of Melon Mambo cardstock, scored it in two places and then folded on the score lines. I added Multipurpose Glue to the back and adhered it to the base of the card.
I cut two pieces of Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper (one is a little bit bigger than the other) and adhered them to each flap. This paper, hands down, is my favorite in the Annual Catalog.
I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Night of Navy ink and the stamp set, Framed Florets, and cut it out using the Layering Circles Dies. I cut progressively larger scalloped circles out of Melon Mambo and Night of Navy cardstock and adhered all the pieces together. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back, on just half of the circle and adhered it to the top flap. To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.
There’s nothing difficult about this card and I hope you’ll give it a try!
