Making today’s card was a little out of my comfort zone but I created it while taking part in a card sketch challenge. I used Flower & Field Designer Series Paper, one of the products you can earn FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration.
I started with a base of Flirty Flamingo cardstock and added a layer of Basic White cardstock that I ran through the Tasteful Textile embossing folder using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Using the largest dies in the Layering Circles Dies, I cut a Basic White circle and a Flirty Flaming scalloped circle. I embossed the Basic White circle with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder and then layered the two pieces together.
I used the Triple Banner Punch to create banners using Flirty Flamingo cardstock and Flower & Field Designer Series Paper. The sentiment was stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink onto Basic White cardstock using the stamp set Hydrangea Haven and then it was layered onto a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock. Both pieces were cut out with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Today’s card features Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper and the stamp set, Heal Your Heart. The base of my card is Seaside Spray cardstock and then I added a layer of Basic White cardstock that I ran through the Cut & Emboss Machine using the Tasteful Textile embossing folder. The Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper and Night of Navy cardstock panel has Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back.
The sentiment was stamped onto Basic White cardstock using Night of Navy ink and the Heal Your Heart stamp set. It was cut out using the Stitched Shapes Dies and layered with a Seaside Spray scalloped oval (cut out with the Layering Ovals Dies). On the back of the Seaside Spray oval, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the right side and down the center, only. Today’s the last chance to earn my FREE Flower & Field Card Sampler. Place a minimum $50 order at my Stampin’ Up! I call this a Sampler because I use a variety of products in the kits.
When you receive your Sampler, everything will be embossed, die cut and punched for you so you can just sit down and create (you will need to provide ink, adhesive and a stamp set). I used the stamp sets Sweet Strawberry and Sweet Ice Cream but you can use whatever you already own (you can see more information about these stamp sets below). Check below for a sneak peek of one of the cards in the Sampler.
Here’s a sneak peek of one of the cards in my Flower & Field Card Sampler and it’s a fun fold. I used the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and actually (gasp) cut the stamp to make it more useful for my needs. Now I have the option to use it as I did for my card below or as it was intended. I sat with my scissors in hand for a few minutes before I cut the stamp because yes, I was a little scared, but I’m so glad I did it. Now my stamp set gives me more options.

Today’s card was created using three new products from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog!
The base of my card is Bumblebee cardstock and then I added another layer which I embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. Our new True Love Designer Series Paper is layered onto pieces of Basic Black cardstock.
The sentiment was stamped onto Basic White* cardstock using Memento Ink and the new stamp set, Oval Occasions. It was cut out using the, also new, Double Oval Punch. You’ll save 10% if you purchase the Oval Occasions Bundle which includes these two products. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment before placing it on the front of the card.
* Whisper White cardstock is no longer available but I used it on my card today. I’m referring to Basic White, the replacement for Whisper White.
