Today’s card features the Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Plaid stamp set and Night Before Christmas Designer Series Paper. I also used the Subtle Embossing Folder for just a touch of dimension on the Very Vanilla cardstock. Normally I’d use Stampin’ Dimensionals on both the sentiment and the Designer Series Paper rectangle piece but for this card, I only used them on the sentiment.
Below I have another version of the card using Cherry Cobbler underneath the Designer Series Paper instead of Night of Navy and I DID use Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop the piece up.

The sentiment was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink and cut out using the Stitched Shapes Dies. I love the detail of the stitching! The oval underneath was cut out using the Layering Ovals Dies.

If you’d like to make today’s card, you’ll find the measurements I used below the Supply List. I have to give credit for this layout to Amy Frillicii over at Gathering Inkspiration.

by Tracy | Nov 12, 2019 | Free Tutorial, Online Card Class
I wasn’t able to get onto my computer yesterday (we dealt with water in our garage, a broken water heater and no water for 24 hours, yikes!) with a reminder about my November Online Card Class so I’m extending it until the end of today. If you place a minimum $50 order at my Stampin’ Up! online store and use the host code FB3XVRGF, you’ll receive 6 card kits, 2 of each design, with paper that’s been cut, scored, die cut, embossed and punched plus a PDF Tutorial and video link showing how to assemble the cards! For all the details, click here.

Today’s Tuesday Tutorial is for a card that’s quick and easy to create that features our Night Before Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. In the two designs below, one uses the Subtle Embossing Folder and the other, the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder. I love the extra texture of embossing but you can choose not to emboss. This is a great design to replicate over and over again with different cardstock and Designer Series Paper. You’ll find your FREE PDF Tutorial below the Supply List.

by Tracy | Nov 8, 2019 | Designer Series Paper, Die-Cutting, Layering Ovals Dies, Stitched Shapes Dies

Today’s card features Night Before Christmas Designer Series Paper and the stamp set, Itty Bitty Christmas. I also used the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder and I have to tell you, every time I make a card and emboss a piece of it, I look through all my embossing folders but this is the one I gravitate towards. It’s just perfect for holiday cards (and more)!

As you can see from the picture above, I made a second card using Cherry Cobbler cardstock and the Subtle Embossing Folder, another great folder when you want just a hint of embossing.

To add some sparkle, before adhering the second layer to the card base, I wrapped our 3/8″ Metallic Ribbon in Gold around the cardstock and tied a bow. The sentiment was stamped in Cherry Cobbler, on both cards, and cut out using the Stitched Shapes Dies. The larger scalloped oval was cut out using the Layering Ovals Dies.
If you’d like to create today’s cards, you can find the measurements below the Supply List.

by Tracy | Nov 7, 2019 | Designer Series Paper, Punches

Today’s card features Feels Like Frost 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, the Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack and the stamp set, Itty Bitty Christmas.

Feels Like Frost is beautiful paper with foil designs on one side and photographic imagery on the other. I also used our Silver Foil Sheets which pairs beautifully with this Designer Series Paper. The base of the card is Thick Whisper White cardstock but I used our regular Whisper White for the sentiment and the piece that was embossed with the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder. The sentiment was embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.
To be perfectly honest, I’m not sure if I like the added Whisper White Baker’s Twine to the top of the ornaments but I wanted to show you this alternative. If you’d like to create today’s card, you can find all the measurements below the supply list.
