Farewell

FarewellYesterday was a whirlwind day for Stampin’ Up! and I apologize if it was frustrating for some of you.  With the release of the retirement list and orders being placed, the SU! website was overloaded and down for some time.  I believe that you should now be able to place an order without difficulties.  Again, I apologize for any and all frustration yesterday!

Here’s the link for the retired list:  Retired List PDF

I realize that the list can be a bit overwhelming.  I have gone through and marked in my catalog all of the retired products.  If you are curious about whether some of your favorites are retiring, send me an email and I’d be happy to look it up for you!

Stamps will be available until May 22nd.

Everything else (punches, ribbon, Big Shot accessories, buttons, etc.) are while supplies last.

The PDF list will be updated daily so be sure to check back.  I looked this morning and only a few items are no longer available.

Any questions, please ask!

Retiring List Out Today

The Retiring List for the 2015-2016 Stampin’ Up! Catalog will be posted on the demonstrator website at noon, Pacific Time. I’ve heard that the list is very extensive but that the new catalog is awesome. Attendees of the Stampin’ Up! “convention” this past weekend were given copies and excitement is high!

I will post the list as soon as I have viewed it. If there’s anything on it that you want, I suggest purchasing it as soon as you can, as everything except stamp sets, will be while supplies last! If history repeats itself, some items will be gone today.

See you later today!

Paper! It’s Not Just for Cards

I love paper!  With each and every Stampin’ Up! catalog release there’s always one pack of paper that I fall in love with and use over and over again.  If you follow my blog, you’ve probably already guessed that Birthday Bouquet is my current favorite.

One of the ways that I like to use my paper is to place it in the cover sleeve of a binder.  The binder on the right shows one design from Birthday Bouquet and the Copic binder paper has unfortunately retired.

DSP Binders

I typed up the titles on my computer and then cut them out with the Ovals Framelits.  The largest die in the set has the scalloped edges which was perfect as a base for my title.  It’s a fun way to jazz up a binder!

I’d love to hear other ways that you’ve used paper!

Have a great day!

Throwback Thursday

Throwback Thursday Dahlia

I really enjoy making these Dahlia flowers and I thought it would be fun to make one with paper in the Occasions catalog  for Throwback Thursday!  You can see a previous post here which also includes a tutorial.  Want to see two more samples? Click here (I love this paper and wish it was still available) and here.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask!  Have a great day!

Updated:  I realized that I forgot to list the most important punches that I used to create my flower:  1-3/4″ Circle Punch for the actual flowers and the 2-1/2″ Circle Punch (currently on the retirement list) for the base.
