Today’s card was made using Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper, the stamp set, Darling Details, and the Nested Essentials Dies.
I started with a piece of Night of Navy cardstock for the base of my card. Then, I embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock (you can find the measurements I used below the Supply List) using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. I also embossed the Balmy Blue cardstock using this same embossing folder. I adhered the Basic White to the card front and then cut a piece of Night of Navy cardstock and adhered the Balmy Blue embossed piece to it. I then adhered this layer to the front of the card.
I cut a piece of Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper and adhered it to a piece of Night of Navy cardstock, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card. I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink using the stamp set, Darling Details. Then, I used the new Nested Essentials Dies to cut it out. I added adhesive to only the part of the sentiment that would be placed on the Designer Series Paper square. I made quite a few of these as thank you cards and ended up adding Stampin’ Dimensionals to some of them because they didn’t feel like they were as secure as I wanted.
To complete the card, I added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels below the sentiment.

I’m slowly working my way towards posting on a regular basis again. My goal is to post several days each week so while I don’t normally post on a weekend, I’m trying this new schedule out. I’m still at my mom’s as my sister and I are planning a Celebration of Life for our mom while also cleaning out her big house that she lived in for almost 53 years. It’s a lot of memories to go through and make decisions on! Making cards has been a nice creative outlet and having new products to play with makes it even better.
Today’s card was made with the Seasonal Branches Bundle which includes the Seasonal Branches stamp set and Seasonal Branches Dies. I also used Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper and the Stylish Shapes Dies.
I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card. Then I cut a piece of Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper and adhered it to the middle of the card.
I stamped the bird in Memento Ink onto Basic White cardstock using the Seasonal Branches stamp set and then colored it with Boho Blue and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends. I cut it out using the Seasonal Branches Dies. I stamped the leaves in Garden Green ink onto Basic White cardstock and the branches in Early Espresso ink and also cut them out with the Seasonal Branches Dies.
I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut a square out of Basic White cardstock and glued it to a square I cut out using Boho Blue cardstock. I adhered the two pieces together and added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back before adhering it to the front of the card. I glued the branch, leaves and bird to the Basic White square.
I stamped the sentiment in Boho Blue ink to Basic White cardstock using the stamp set Seasonal Branches. I cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies and then cut a larger circle out of Lemon Lolly cardstock and adhered the two pieces together. I added adhesive to the upper left corner of the Lemon Lolly circle and adhered it to the lower right corner of the Boho Blue/Basic White square.
To complete the card, I added three 2023-2025 In Color Dots to the bottom of the Basic White square.

Thank you so much for all the words of comfort and condolences after the passing of my mom. I read every single email and blog comment and each one was very much appreciated. Words of comfort do make a difference and I thank you. We laid my mom to rest this past Monday and she is now reunited with my dad who passed away 14 years ago.
As you know, we launched a new Annual Catalog on May 2nd with lots of new products. I was able to sit down a few days ago and make a card using the stamp set, Circle Sayings, Bright and Beautiful 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, and some of our new pretty colors, Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, Copper Clay and Berry Burst.
I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card. I embossed a piece of Bubble Bath cardstock (I love this shade of pink) using one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders.
I stamped the cupcake onto Basic White cardstock using Memento Ink and then colored it using these Stampin’ Blends: Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath and Copper Clay. I cut the cupcake out using Paper Snips. If you don’t want to fussy cut the cupcake, you can stamp it directly on the larger Basic White square mentioned below. I had a different idea when making the card that I didn’t do and that’s why I cut it out.
I then cut a strip of Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper along with two squares using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I cut another larger square out of Basic White cardstock. I adhered the strip towards the bottom of the embossed cardstock and then adhered this layer to the card base.
I adhered the cupcake to the Basic White square. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the cupcake square only. I adhered the Designer Series Paper squares to the card first, at an angle, and then added the cupcake square.
I stamped the sentiment in Berry Burst ink onto Basic White cardstock using the stamp set, Circle Sayings, and then cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the Designer Series Paper strip. To complete my card, I added five Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins.

It’s with a very heavy heart and much sadness that I share that my precious mom passed away on May 2nd. There’s a big hole in my heart right now as I navigate life without her.
