Hello Cupcake & Gingham Gala

To create today’s card, I began with a piece of Thick Whisper White for the card base (you can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List). I adhered a piece of Whisper White cardstock onto a piece of Night of Navy and attached them to the base of the card. I cut three strips of Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper and glued them onto the Whisper White.

Next, I cut a piece of Night of Navy using a 2-1/4″ Circle Punch. Using Whisper White cardstock, I cut a Whisper White shape for the base of the cupcake using the Starburst Punch. I stamped the cupcake liner in Night of Navy directly onto this piece. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Night of Navy circle and attached it to the card. The frosting was stamped in Balmy Blue onto Whisper White and then I cut it out, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and attached it to the Starburst shape.

The cute little heart is one of our brand new Heart Epoxy Droplets. I used a Dark Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blend to color one of the hearts! I love that I can color them to coordinate with my card or project!

My sentiment is also from the Hello Cupcake stamp set and I stamped it in Night of Navy. Then I used the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies to cut it out. It sits on another Night of Navy rectangle but I didn’t use the dies for this one. When adding adhesive to this piece, I put Snail on the part that touches the cupcake and Dimensionals on the opposite side.
