Welcome to Day 3 of my Envelope Punch Board Series and today we’re making a basket! The video below will show how easy they are to make!
I used Tutti Frutti Designer Series Paper (part of the Tutti-Frutti Suite) and if anything will make you wish for spring to be here, it’s this paper! It comes with 48 sheets: 4 each of 12 double-sided designs that measure 6″ x 6″.
When making the basket, you have the option of securing the side flaps to the outside of the basket or tucking them inside. It’s your choice!
Other products I used from theTutti-frutti Suite are the stamp set Fruit Basket and Lemon Lime Twist 3/8″ Mini Striped Ribbon (all of the products I used are listed below in the supply list).
Tutti-Frutti Designer Series Paper: 6″ x 6″
Please refer to the video for all of the punching and scoring: Punch and score the first side at 1-1/2″
Turn the paper clockwise to the next side: punch and score at 2-1/2″
Turn the paper clockwise to the next side: punch and score at 1-1/2″

Welcome to Day 2 of my Envelope Punch Board Series! In yesterday’s blog post I showed how to use the Envelope Punch Board to make envelopes. If you missed it and aren’t sure what an Envelope Punch Board is or how to use it, click here.
Today we’re going to make a Card Box that will fit (4) 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ cards and envelopes. When making envelopes with the Envelope Punch Board, one “punch and score” is made on all four sides but to create a box, you’ll need two on each side. The video below will show how easy it is!
I used Petal Passion Designer Series paper for all three boxes today. This beautiful paper can be found in the Occasions Catalog and it’s part of the Petal Passion Suite. The little bird on the front of the box is from the stamp set, Petal Palette, which is also part of the Petal Passion Suite. I stamped the bird using Memento Ink and then colored him in with both the Light and Dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blends. Each box is wrapped up with Berry Burst 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon. It looks so pretty against the Petal Passion paper!
The sentiment is from Happy Wishes, one of our FREE stamp sets during Sale-A-Bration. This is a Level 2 gift, free with a $100 purchase and includes 16 stamps.
All of the Stampin’ Up! supplies used for today’s projects can be found in the Supply List at the end of the post.
Petal Passion Designer Series Paper: 9″ x 9″
Line the edge of your paper at 3-1/2″ & 4-1/2″ and “punch and score”
Follow the scores lines on the remaining three sides.

All next week I’ll be sharing projects using the Envelope Punch Board! It isn’t just for making envelopes, you can do so much more.
On Monday we’ll focus on the basics: how to use the board and how to make envelopes the exact size you need. The rest of the week I’ll share six projects that will make you want to pull yours out and start creating. And, hold on to your hats, I’ll be posting a video each day of the series!
I hope you’ll join me on Monday! Have a great weekend!
As a child I loved getting mail and nothing has changed now that I’m an adult. A few days ago I received this beauty from my team member, Linda. Opening the package from her was so much fun and along with her gorgeous card, she included another goodie but I’ll save that for another day! (more…)
Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you have a fun day whether or not you have a special someone to spend it with. My husband is out of town on business so I’ll play in my craft room, eat a little chocolate and have a happy day! Later today I’m babysitting my grandchildren so I’ll get to give them some Valentine’s Day hugs.
Today’s card combines Petal Passion Designer Series Paper and the oh so cute, Flying Home stamp set. I’m loving all of the bird stamps in the Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog. A cute little bird just makes me smile and then when you combine it with flowers, . . . . love it!
I used Memento Ink to stamp my bird, birdhouse & flowers and then colored it in with Stampin’ Blends using: Rich Razzleberry, Pool Party, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Bronze and Ivory. I cut it out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Berry Burst square it sits on with the Layering Squares Framelits. The Flying Home stamp set doesn’t include sentiments so “Thinking of You” came from the Friendship’s Sweetest Thoughts and it was cut out using the Petals and More Thinlits dies.
Here’s the same card but I switched out the sentiment to say Thank You. This sentiment is from the Petal Palette stamp set. and when you purchase the stamp set and the Petals & More Thinlits dies together, you save 10% (I’ve included the bundle at the bottom of the supply list).
All of the supplies I used are below. For easy shopping, just click any of the images to go to my Stampin’ Up! online store.
Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing another Bird Banter card and aren’t these two little birds so cute? I’m very pleased that Stampin’ Up! included a bird each direction so that they can sit on a branch together. This is the third card in my February Thank You gift when you place a minimum $50 order using the host code 2GWMTTXZ. You’ll receive all of the paper and ribbon you see on today’s card (along with the supplies for two more cards). You’ll just need to use your own adhesive, ink and stamps (per Stampin’ Up!, I cannot send stamped images).
In addition to the three cards in your kit, you’ll also receive a Paper Sampler that includes (8) sheets of 5″ x 3-3/4″ paper, the perfect size to create a card – it’s the size I used to create two of the cards in the kit.
Don’t forget that with each $50 order, you can pick a free Sale-a-bration gift and this year there are gifts you can choose with a $100 order! And to make it all even better, on February 16th, three new items will be available! Click the catalog below to take a peek inside! To see what’s available today, click here.
Attach the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper to the piece of Basic Black. Then wrap the ribbon around both sheets and attach the ends to the back with Snail.
Attach the large scallop to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Lemon Lime Cardstock: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Basic Black: 5-1/4″ x 4″
Petal Passion Designer Series Paper: 5″ x 3-3/4″
Thick Whisper White: scrap for birds and sentiment
Lemon Lime Twist Mini Striped Ribbon: approximately 5″

EDITED on 2-8-18: The Fast Fuse sale is over! My apologies to those of you who were unable to purchase any! It ended much earlier than expected as the supply ran out.
Several months ago Stampin’ Up! had a Fast Fuse Sale and all of their stock was depleted before the sale was over. They promised us another sale and it starts on Thursday! The sale is planned for five days but it’s while supplies last!! Purchase one Fast Fuse and receive 2 refills FREE (that’s a $15 value)!!!
I’m guessing this sale won’t last five days so please, get your order in as soon as you can once it begins on Thursday! I don’t want you to be disappointed!
Bird Banter is quickly becoming one of my favorite stamp sets in the Occasions catalog! It comes with 5 cute birds, a branch, party hat, heart, balloon and cute sentiments. Because the stamps are photopolymer, which means you can see right through them, it’s easy to get perfect placement of the heart. I used Stampin’ Blends to color the bird and heart but you could easily use colored pencils or Stampin’ Write markers. I like using the Stampin’ Blends because you can’t see your coloring lines. That’s a big plus to me! My card also uses Petal Passion Designer Series Paper which is a very popular item in the Occasions catalog.
This card is included in my thank you this month! Place a minimum $50 order using my host code (2GWMTTXZ) and you’ll receive all of the materials to make today’s card along with two other cards and you’ll receive a paper sampler! All of the paper in your kits will already be cut, scored, embossed and die cut. Pull out your own ink, adhesive and stamp set and you’ll be all set to create! Don’t have Bird Banter? Purchase it for $17.00 (see supply list below) or substitute with a stamp set of your own. Don’t forget that with every $50 purchase, you can choose a Free Sale-A-Bration gift.
Here’s what you’ll receive with your minimum $50 purchase using the Host Code:

I was instantly drawn to the Lots of Happy Card Kit the first time I saw it at On Stage in November. It was one of my first purchases from the Occasions catalog and when it arrived, wow! I was shocked at how much product was included! There are card bases, envelopes, vellum leaves, ribbon, four full-sized Watercolor Pencils, a clear block, 7 photopolymer stamps, a Black Archival Stampin’ Spot and so much more. You’ll have enough materials to make 20 different cards. All you need to provide is adhesive (although it does include Stampin’ Dimensionals). How great is that??
A refill is also available which comes with everything except the stamp set, clear block, ink spot and watercolor pencils (#145605).
This video from Stampin’ Up! shows you exactly what you’ll get in the kit and tips for assembling the cards. As mentioned in the video, a blender pen (not included in the kit) can be used to make your coloring look more even.

With a $50 purchase, you’ll be able to choose a Sale-A-Bration gift right when you place your order. Use my February Host Code (2GWMTTXZ) and you’ll receive my February Thank You – 3 Card Kits and a Paper Sampler. You’ll just need to supply ink, adhesive and the Bird Banter stamp set(or something already in your stamp collection). Click here to place your order today!
Are you ready for the Treat Holders Glitter Queen Blog Hop? We have some treat holders that are sure to send you rushing to your crafting area! My project is small and holds a little something for someone special.
I used the beautiful Painted with Love Speciality Designer Series Paper. Although the paper is on a page in the Occasions Catalog associated with Valentine’s Day, it could really be used for any occasion.
My sentiment comes from Seasonal Chums which is a carryover stamp set from the Holiday Catalog. You can’t find it in a current catalog but it is available here!
I made a video showing how to make these cute little holders and I have to apologize for the abrupt end of the video (although the project is finished when it stops). Every single problem that you could have while filming, happened. The final product was about my tenth try and I just went with it. Sometimes you just have to laugh rather than get upset! So please scroll down to the end of the post for the video and you’ll also find a supply list there as well!
I hope you’ll continue through our hop! Next up is Davette, who always has the most gorgeous projects! Here’s the list of all the hopping Glitter Queens!
