This week I’m showcasing projects using Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper, one of the free gifts you can earn with a $50 purchase now during Sale-A-Bration! One of the things I love about this Designer Series paper is that there are bright, colorful designs on one side and black & white images on the other. It’s so versatile!
To make today’s card, I started with a base of Balmy Blue cardstock and then added a layer of Basic Black. The next layer is Balmy blue again and I ran it through the Big Shot using the Dot to Dot Embossing Folder, a brand new product in the Occasions catalog. I layered a piece of the Designer Series Paper onto Whisper White and added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back. It’s amazing how the look of a card changes when you add Dimensionals to the back!
I stamped the sentiment onto Whisper White cardstock using Memento Ink and a brand new stamp set called Incredible Like You. I just love the fonts in this set! I cut it out with a 2″ Circle Punch and mounted it onto a Balmy Blue piece cut out with the Starburst Punch.
Quick Tip: Use a Stampin’ Blend marker to color our Basic Pearls! Instant coordination!! Because our Blends are alcohol based markers, the ink will dry very quickly!
