Today’s card is from one of my past Card Samplers and it features the Pretty Perennials stamp set and Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper.
Did you know the January – June 2021 Mini Catalog will be retiring soon? The retirement list for this catalog will be coming out in early June and all the retiring products will be available until June 30th or while supplies last. Another product that will be retiring in June is Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper. I have loved creating cards with this paper!
To create today’s card I started with a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock cut at 11″ x 4-1/4″ and scored at 5-1/2″. Then I trimmed one end at 2-3/4″ (you can find all the rest of the measurements below the Supply List). The piece that’s been cut off is used for the sentiment piece.
I added a piece of Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper to the front panel and also cut a small butterfly out of this same paper using the Brilliant Wings Dies. To attach the butterfly to the card, I used a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional but you could also use a Mini Glue Dot.
I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Memento Ink and my Stamparatus. I wanted the word “happy” to be nice and bold and you can always achieve that look when using the Stamparatus because you can stamp over and over again in the exact same place. “Sending Lots of” was stamped in Melon Mambo ink using a clear block, not the Stamparatus. This piece was adhered to the Melon Mambo cardstock that was trimmed off. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to one side of the sentiment piece and attached it to the front panel. To complete the card, I added three Basic Rhinestone Jewels for some sparkle!
