by Tracy | Dec 13, 2024 | Thank You Card
The card I’m sharing with you today was made using Regal Winter Designer Series Paper (this paper is on the Last Chance List and is on sale), Everyday Greetings stamp set, Oxidized Copper Specialty Designer Series Paper, Nested Essentials Dies, Regal Foiled Adhesive-Backed Dots and I added some gold embossing powder to the sentiment.

I started with a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock for the base of my card. Then I added a piece of Regal Winter Designer Series Paper to the front of the card (you can find the measurements I used to make this card below the Supply List).

Next, I added a piece of Regal Winter DSP to the front of a piece of Oxidized Copper Specialty DSP, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.

I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink onto Basic White cardstock, sprinkled gold embossing powder over the sentiment and heated it with my Heat Tool (if you’ve never embossed before, you should try it! I have directions below if you want to give it a try). I cut the sentiment out using the Nested Essentials Dies, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.
To complete my card, I added three Regal Foiled Adhesive-Backed Dots below the sentiment and added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.

How to Heat Emboss
Prepare your cardstock by rubbing the Embossing Buddy (an anti-static pouch that can be found in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit) over the surface of the paper as it helps keep away stray particles of embossing powder. Stamp your sentiment or image using a Versamark pad. This is very sticky ink and your embossing powder will stick right to it. Sprinkle embossing powder over the stamped image and then shake off any excess. Before applying heat to your paper, heat the Heat Tool first so your paper won’t warp (about 10 seconds). Direct the heat over your image and watch as your image becomes shiny and beautiful!

The card I’m sharing with you today was made using Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper, the Merriest Tree stamp set, Nested Essentials Dies, the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder, Iridescent Foil Gems and some heat embossing using Metallics WOW! Embossing Powder in Gold.

I started with a piece of Garden Green cardstock for the base of my card. Then I embossed a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock using the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder (this embossing folder is currently on the Low Inventory List as of this writing) and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Then, I adhered it to the front of the card.

Next, I layered a piece of Gold Foil and Season of Green & Gold Specialty Paper, then adhered it to the middle of the card. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and then used my heat tool to melt the embossing powder. I cut the sentiment out using the Nested Essentials Dies, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.

To complete my card, I added another piece of Very Vanilla cardstock to the inside of the card and added five Iridescent Foil Gems to the the front of the card. I chose these gems because they have gold flecks in them which was perfect for my card!

by Tracy | Nov 7, 2024 | Christmas Card
The card I’m sharing today was made using the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Friends Bundle, the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder, Stampin’ Blends and the Nested Essentials Dies.

I started with a piece of Real Red cardstock for the base of my card. Then, I embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and adhered it to the card base.

I stamped the bear in Memento Ink onto Basic White cardstock using the Christmas Friends stamp set and then colored him with Stampin’ Blends. The colors I used were Real Red (dark) and Granny Apple Green (dark). Once I had the bear colored, I then cut him out using the Animal Friends Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the bear and then set him aside.

I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using Real Red ink and the Christmas Friends stamp set. Then, I cut the sentiment out using the second smallest banner in the Nested Essentials Dies. I figured out where I wanted the bear to be and the sentiment and then glued the sentiment onto the front of the card and then placed the bear on top of the sentiment being sure to cover the banner openings. To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card. This card came together quickly!

I have one more card to share with you today using Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper. I also used the Everyday Greetings stamp set, Nested Essentials Dies, Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder and Opal Rounds Assortment.

Before I adhered it to the card base, I added a piece of Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper to the embossed Basic White cardstock and then adhered it to the card base.

Next, I adhered another piece of Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper to a square of Crushed Curry cardstock. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using the stamp set, Everyday Greetings and Cajun Craze ink. I cut it out using the Nested Essentials Dies. I added Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back, on the right side only, and adhered it to the front of the card.

Mystery Boxes

I’m offering Mystery Boxes again but these are primarily filled with retired stamp sets. I’ve been a demonstrator for 15 years and I’d like to give my retired stamp sets to a new home. I have filled Medium Rate Flat USPS shipping boxes stuffed with stamp sets and I’ve thrown in a few more goodies! I have included three bundles in each box with a stamp set and dies.
All of the products in the Mystery Boxes have retired but some have never been used, some are used and all are “as is”. Some of the stamp sets are wood mount and there is some staining on the wood but that doesn’t affect the quality of the stamps.
There are two ways to get a Mystery Box:
- Place a minimum $125 order (before shipping/tax) at my Stampin’ Up! online store using the host code ZY3UX3NY and I will send a Mystery Box to you as a free gift and I’ll even pay the postage! Using the host code will alert me that you want a Mystery Box. If you order is $150 or more, please DO NOT use the host code so you can receive Stampin’ Rewards (free product) directly from Stampin’ Up! After you’ve placed your order (only if your order is $150 or more), please email me that you’d like a Mystery Box (click “Email Me” on the sidebar).
- If you don’t want to place an order, you can purchase a Mystery Box for $100 plus $16 postage. Email me that you’d like a Mystery Box and I’ll send you a PayPal invoice (click “Email Me” on the sidebar).
More Information
- You must use the host code ZY3UX3NY when placing your minimum $125 order (if your order is $150 or more, do not used the host code- see above).
- My Mystery Boxes have a value of at least $275, if not more.
- Three Die Bundles will be included in each box (stamp set and a set of dies).
- One box per order.
- Using the host code will let me know you’d like a Mystery Box.
- You’ll receive at least two Bradley Points with your order.
- I have added extra products in the box though they are primarily stamp sets. The extra products can include Designer Series Paper, a punch, an embellishment or ribbon.
- Each box will be different and a mystery. The boxes are already sealed up and I’m unable to take requests for the contents of the boxes.
- No refunds or exchanges.
- Feel free to email me before placing an order to see if I have boxes available.
