Scalloped Contours Dies Retiring and On Sale

I was really disappointed when I saw the Scalloped Contours Dies were retiring. This has been a much loved staple in my craft room. They are normally $35.00 but until April 30th, they are 30% off with a price tag of $24.50. I thought I’d share some cards, which you can see below, using the Scalloped Contours Dies. If you want more information about the card, simply click the image of the card and you’ll be taken to that blog post. I’ve created many more cards with these dies but I’m only showing ones with current and retiring product.

For this card, I also used the Sweet Citrus stamp set (20% off) and the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder and Dies (50% off) which are both retiring and both on sale.

This card was created with the Stripes & Splatters embossing Folders (they have sadly already sold out) and Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper which is retiring and 20% off.

This card was created also using the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folders (sold out) and Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper which is not retiring.

This card was made using the Darling Details stamp set which is retiring and Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper which is retiring and 50% off!

This card was already created with the Darling Details stamp set which is retiring and Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper which is retiring and 20% off.

What’s a Mystery Box?

I offered Mystery Boxes last year but I still have SO MUCH retired Stampin’ Up! product in my home and I’d like to give it all to a new home. I’ve been a demonstrator for almost 15 years so you can just imagine how much I have! I have Medium Rate Flat Rate USPS shipping boxes stuffed with retired Stampin’ Up! product. The boxes contain Designer Series Paper, stamps, dies, ribbon, embellishments and more! The boxes are already sealed and every box will be different and a mystery as to what’s inside! The value of each box is well over $200.

All of the products in the Mystery Boxes have retired but some have never been used, some are used and all are “as is”. Some of the stamp sets are wood mount.

There are two ways to get a Mystery Box

  • Place a $125 or more order (before shipping/tax) at my Stampin’ Up! online store using the host code HS2RTGAS. I will send a Mystery Box to you as a free gift and I’ll even pay the postage! Using the host code will alert me that you want a Mystery Box. If your order is $150 or more, please DO NOT use the host code so you can receive Stampin’ Rewards (free product) directly from Stampin’ Up!. After you’ve placed your order (only if your order is $150 or more), please email me that you’d like a Mystery Box (click “Email Me” on the sidebar).
  • If you don’t want to place an order, you can purchase a Mystery Box for $80 plus $15.00 postage. Email me that you want a box and I’ll send you a PayPal invoice (click “Email Me” on the sidebar).

Stampin’ Up! Nested Essentials Dies

Today’s card were created using Stampin’ Up! Nested Essentials Dies, Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper, one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders, Stylish Shapes Dies and the stamp set, Sweet Citrus.

I started with a piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock for the base of my card. Then I embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock using one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (these folders are an Online Exclusive and are not in a catalog) and adhered it to the front of the card. I then cut a piece of Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper (you can find the measurements I used below the Supply List) and cut another piece using the Nested Essentials Dies. I adhered both to the front of the card.

I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink and cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I cut a larger circle out of Fresh Freesia cardstock and adhered the sentiment to it. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card. To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.

This second card was made using all the same products but I used Petal Pink for the base of my card and the Stylish Shapes circle. The sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy ink. Instead of using a second piece of Designer Series Paper, I embossed the vertical strip and I didn’t emboss the Basic White cardstock.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Citrus

Today’s card was made using the Sweet Citrus stamp set and the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder which includes an embossing folder and dies.

I started with a piece of Parakeet Party cardstock for the base of my card. Then I cut a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock, placed it inside the Sweet Citrus Embossing Folder and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (you can find the measurements I used below the Supply List). I adhered it to the front of the card.

Next, I cut a scalloped rectangle out of Basic White cardstock using the Scalloped Contours Dies. Then, I stamped the three pieces of lemon onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Daffodil Delight ink. The stamp is one big stamp and actually stamps four pieces of lemon but I chose to use three of them. There’s one stamp for the outside of the lemon which I stamped first and another stamp for the inside of the lemons. I used Daffodil Delight ink for both stamps.  I was able to line the stamps up better by stamping the outside first but for you, it might be the other way around.

Then I cut the lemon pieces out using the Sweet Citrus Dies.  I stamped the leaves onto Basic White cardstock using Parakeet Party ink and then cut them out with the leaf dies. What you can do, but I chose not to, is insert the dies in the embossing folder and your pieces will also be embossed!

I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Citrus stamp set onto the scalloped rectangle in Parakeet Party ink. Then, I adhered the lemon pieces and leaves to the rectangle, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the rectangle and adhered it to the front of the card. I added three Daffodil Delight dots from the Glossy Dots Assortment to the front of the card. To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.

Stampin’ Up! Fresh as a Daisy

Today’s card was made using Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper, the Sweet Citrus stamp set, Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder and the Stylish Shapes Dies. If you received my Darling Details Card Sampler, this is another version of the first card.

I started with a piece of Copper Clay cardstock for the base of my card. I cut a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock that measured 5″ x 4″ and embossed it using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. Then I cut it into three 1″ strips which gave me (3) 1″ strips and one 2″ strip. I then adhered all the strips to the front of the card.

I cut a piece of Copper Clay cardstock (you can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List) and layered it with a piece of Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card. I stamped the sentiment using Pretty Peacock ink onto Basic White cardstock using the Sweet Citrus stamp set. I cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies and then cut a larger circle out of Pretty Peacock cardstock. I adhered the two pieces together, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the upper corner and adhered it to the front of the card.
