I had planned to release my Ever Eden Card Sampler on Wednesday but since the Stampin’ Seasonal Sale begins on Tuesday, I decided to release it early (you can find more information about the sale farther down in the post).
My Card Samplers give you the chance to “sample” different products and you’re able to see our Designer Series Paper, cardstock, embossed paper, die cut pieces and embellishments “in person” as you assemble the cards.
Here’s how you can earn it FREE!
- Place a minimum $50 order (before tax/shipping) at my Stampin’ Up! online store.
- Use my special Ever Eden Card Sampler Host Code when placing your order: XC6U7GD4
- Place your order on or before Sunday, November 21, 2021.
- If your order reaches $150 or more, please DO NOT use the host code so you can receive Stampin’ Rewards (free product directly from Stampin’ Up!). Once you place your order, simply drop me an email (only necessary if your order is over $150) letting me know that you’d like the Ever Eden Card Sampler. If I don’t hear from you, I’ll assume you’d prefer to receive my regular card kits.
Here’s What You’ll Receive:
- All the paper and embellishments needed to make six cards (two each of three different designs). The paper will be cut, scored, embossed and die cut for you! You’ll need to supply your own adhesive, ink and stamp set (per Stampin’ Up! I cannot send stamped images). Envelopes will also be provided.
- A PDF Tutorial with instructions, pictures, cutting measurements and a complete supply list of all the products used.

It’s not Friday but I’m bringing my Free Friday Tutorial to you today. Both my husband and I received our flu shots on Thursday. He had absolutely no side effects (which always seems to be the case) and I had a sore arm and was under the weather, but only for a short time, so I’m here, Saturday morning, with my tutorial.
My card today features the Words of Cheer stamp set, Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder and Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper. I also used the Layering Circles Dies and the Tasteful Labels Dies, both of which will be 20% off November 16-18 during the Seasonal Sale!!!

Today’s card features the Words of Cheer Bundle which includes the Words of Cheer stamp set and the Christmas Cheer Dies. You can purchase the dies and stamp set separately but with the bundle, you’ll save 10%. I also used one of the Checks & Dots Embossing Folders.
I started with a base of Real Red cardstock and then added a layer of Old Olive cardstock. On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment in Old Olive ink at the bottom. Then I placed it inside one of the Checks & Dots Embossing Folders (I used the dots) and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. The entire piece of paper will not fit inside the folder but that’s okay because you don’t want the sentiment to be embossed, so some of your paper will be sticking out of the embossing folder. I adhered this piece to the front of the card.
I stamped the flowers using Memento Ink onto Basic White cardstock and then colored it using both the Light & Dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends and the Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend. I used both the Light and Dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends to color the leaves. Once I finished coloring, I used the Christmas Cheer Dies to cut it out. I added quite a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and then placed it on the front of the card. To complete the card, I added a rhinestone to the center of each flower and adhered a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.

The sentiment on one of the cards is embossed with Silver Embossing Powder. If you would rather not emboss, you can use Smoky Slate Ink (147113) or Memento Ink (132708).
I try to use one stamp set for all three cards but I was unable to do that for this sampler. I used the Holly Jolly Wishes stamp set for two of the cards. For the third card, I needed a small sentiment (holiday) and used the Words of Cheer stamp set.

Today’s card features the So Many Snowflakes Dies. These dies debuted in last year’s holiday catalog and carried over into the Annual Catalog! I also used the stamp set, Heartfelt Wishes and Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper.
I started with a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock. Then I used the So Many Snowflakes Dies to cut a piece of Basic White cardstock. I heat embossed the sentiment using silver embossing powder (see directions for heat embossing below). I adhered a piece of Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper to the back of the Basic White cardstock and then adhered both pieces to the front of the card.
I used the So Many Snowflakes Dies to cut two small snowflakes out of Blushing Bride cardstock. I added small dots of Multipurpose Glue to the back of both before adhering them to the card front. For some sparkle, I added a rhinestone to the center of both snowflakes. To complete the card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card.
How to Heat Emboss
Prepare your cardstock by rubbing an anti-static pouch over the surface of the paper as it helps keep away stray particles of embossing powder (Stampin’ Up! no longer carries this product but it’s a must when embossing). Stamp your sentiment or image using a Versamark pad. This is very sticky ink and your embossing powder will stick right to it. Sprinkle embossing powder over the stamped image and then shake off any excess. Before applying heat to your paper, heat the Heat Tool first so the paper won’t warp (about 10 seconds). Direct the heat over your image and watch as your image is transformed!
