For the next few weeks I’m highlighting retiring products that have been a staple in my craft room and today it’s all about embossing folders. If you missed yesterday’s post on the Envelope Punch Board, click here.
If you follow my blog, you know I love creating with embossing folders. An embossed piece of cardstock completely changes the look of a card! My Top Three retiring, favorite embossing folders are:
Below are cards I’ve shown previously on my blog. Please note that some of the products on the cards, such as Designer Series Paper, stamps and embellishments are no longer available but with each card you’ll get a good idea what the embossing folder looks like after it’s gone through the Big Shot. If you’d like more information about each card, please click on the picture and you’ll be directed to that blog post.

Over the next week or so, I ‘m going to do a series featuring retiring Stampin’ Up! products that will be missed!
I’m going to start with the Envelope Punch Board. It’s name suggests that it’s just for making envelopes but this little board can do so much more!

Over the past several years I’ve featured many projects using the Envelope Punch Board that I’m going to share again. Please note that most of the projects use products that are no longer available but you can follow the directions and use the products you have! My purpose in sharing these projects again is to show you all the fun projects you can make with this awesome tool but please know that most of the products used can no longer be purchased. The Envelope Punch Board is still available but only while supplies last. (more…)

It’s the first Friday of the month so that means it’s time for the Glitter Queens Blog Hop! There are seven of us participating today and I hope you’ll circle around and see everyone’s project! We are all featuring a retiring product that we’ll miss and I’ve chosen our Gingham Gala 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. It has been hugely popular since it debuted in January in the Occasions Catalog. As of this writing, it’s in stock and it’s my guess it won’t last long so if you love it, get it while you can! I received this beautiful card in the mail from my friend, Dawn for my Stampin’ Up! Anniversary last month. It’s always so fun to receive a handmade card in the mail!
I love our Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper but sadly, it’s retiring. It’s been so popular and has been on the backorder list many times but Stampin’ Up! recently received a new shipment! It won’t be reordered again so get it while you can! The coordinating colors are Grapefruit Grove, Lemon Lime Twist, Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, and Highland Heather. Lemon Lime Twist is one of the retiring In Colors and the matching cardstock has already sold out. Tomorrow, I’ll have a card with another color combination for the Gingham Gala Lemon Lime Twist Designer Series Paper. (more…)
