Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and this little treat bag is quick and easy to make! I always include a little handmade gift in my thank you packages when anyone places an order and this month you’ll receive one of these treat bags!
I used the gorgeous Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, new in the Occasions Catalog. This paper is packaged with (12) 12″ x 12″ sheets and six of the sheets have gold foil accents – so pretty! It’s ideal for Valentine’s Day but it can used for any occasion as only two of the designs actually have hearts on them.
Painted with Love Designer Series Paper: 9-1/2″ x 3″ scored at 1-1/4″ & 5-1/2″
3″ x 6″ Gusseted Bag: cut bag down to 4″ or you can just fold over the excess
Powder Pink 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon: approximately 13″

Add a strip of Tear and Tape at the top of the cellophane bag and attach it to the inside of the treat bag. Then add your treat inside.
Attach Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Powder Pink 1-3/8″ scallop and attach to the front of the treat bag.
Wrap the Shimmer Ribbon around the treat bag in the middle of the top flap. This will keep the bag shut. No adhesive needed!

Today’s card uses the beautiful Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper. Because it’s a speciality paper, the paper is heavier than our regular designer series paper and this packager has silver foil accents on one side. It’s really pretty!

Whisper White: scrap for square with sentiment
Vellum: scraps for 4 leaves
Attach Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Marina Mist scalloped square.
You can add a small amount of adhesive to the vellum leaves or simply attach them to the Stampin’ Dimensionals already on the back of the square.
Stamp your greeting first and then die cut it using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.
Finish the card by adding two enamel shapes on both sides of the sentiment.

Happy Friday! Today is our youngest daughter’s 35th birthday! Wow, it’s hard to believe our “baby” is 35! When she was born my husband was in the Navy. The month before her birth, he left on the aircraft carrier, the U.S.S. America, and didn’t come home until six months later. Yep, he missed her birth. That was really difficult but I had my parents with me at the hospital and my mom was my coach in the delivery room. Sweet memories! Happy Birthday, Erin!!!
Today’s card uses the new bundle, Charming Cafe, from the Occasions Catalog. You have the option to leave the center where I have the sentiment (which is included in the bundle) as is or to cut it out. Powder Pink: 4-1/4″ x 11″ (base of card) & 3-3/4″ x 5″ (second layer)
Whisper White: 5-1/4″ x 4″ (first layer) & approx. 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ for the flower frame with sentiment
If you’re worried about getting your sentiment straight, stamp it FIRST onto Whisper White cardstock and then use the Framelit to cut the frame out. After I had colored the frame, I was worried about getting my sentiment crooked. Stamping it first solves that problem!
Emboss the Powder Pink cardstock (top layer) using the Layered Leaves embossing folder.
Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop the frame up. You’ll love the dimension it gives to the card.
Add a glue dot to the back of your bow to attach it to the card.

Hello! Today I’m sharing a card I made last November in Salt Lake City during the OnStage convention. It uses lots of new product from the Occasions Catalog and it’s all from the Petal Passion Suite (towards the end of the post you’ll find the link to my Stampin’ Up! online store for all of these products):
Petal Passion Designer Series Paper – All of the sheets are black and white. You can leave them as is or color them.
Petal Palette Stamp Set – 15 different stamps
Whisper White 1/4″ Organza Ribbon – This is very similar to the organza ribbon we used to carry that has since retired and it was my all time favorite ribbon. Just like the retired one, this new ribbon can be spritzed any color you want and it ties into a bow beautifully.
Petal Passion Embellishments – metal embellishments in a flower (with a pearl center) and a leaf.
The Petal Passion Suite also comes with a bundle that includes the Petal Palette Stamp Set and the Petals & More Thinlits Dies. I didn’t use the dies on today’s project but I did include the bundles in the product list below because you’ll save 10% if you purchase the two products as a bundle.
