Today’s card was one of the cards in my Potpourri Card Sampler last month. It features Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (on sale until August 2nd), the Stitched Greenery Die and the Scalloped Contours Dies.
I started with a base of Fresh Freesia cardstock and then added a layer of Basic White cardstock that I ran through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Stitched Greenery Die. Next, using the Scalloped Contours Dies, I cut a scalloped rectangle out of Basis White cardstock and another, smaller one out of Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper. I adhered the Designer Series Paper to the scalloped rectangle and then wrapped my Open Weave Ribbon in Fresh Freesia around the left side. Stampin’ Dimensionals were added to the back before adhering it to the card front.
As of this morning, the Scalloped Contours Dies are still on backorder (rather than unavailable) and are estimated to be back in stock the week of August 2nd. When an item is in backorder status, you can still add it to your order. The rest of your order will ship without the backordered item but when additional inventory is received, Stampin’ Up! will automatically ship the item to you. If an item is unavailable that means you can not order it until it’s back in stock.
The sentiment piece was also cut out using the Scalloped Contours Dies and then I stamped the sentiment in Fresh Freesia ink using the stamp set Plentiful Plants. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and then added it to the front of the card. To complete the card, I added a piece of Basic White to the inside.

I think I’ve mentioned before that my husband and I have several bird feeders in our backyard. When I saw the Garden Birdhouses stamp set, I knew I had to have it. Cute birds and birdhouses? Yes, please!
I started with a base of Thick Basic White cardstock and then added a layer of Misty Moonlight cardstock and Basic White cardstock (you can find the measurements I used below the Supply List). I layered pieces of Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper to pieces of Balmy Blue cardstock and then adhered them to the card front. Sweet Symmetry is one of nine Designer Series Papers on sale until August 2nd!
I stamped the branch and birdhouse onto Basic White cardstock using Memento Ink and the Garden Birdhouses stamp set. I colored the birdhouse using Balmy Blue and Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blends. I used Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends to fill in areas of the branch and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends to color the leaves. At the last minute I decided to add the bird and stamped it with Memento Ink and colored it with Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends.
I layered the birdhouse onto a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock and then added Stampin’ Blends to the back and adhered it to the Balmy Blue/Designer Series Paper panels. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Ink and cut out with the Tasteful Labels Dies (these dies can be used with Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine). On the back, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the right-side only and adhered the sentiment below the birdhouse.

Happy Friday! Today I have four more versions of the card I shared yesterday (if you missed it, you can see it here) and I have a free PDF tutorial for these cards!
This first card was made using Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (on sale until August 2nd), the Scalloped Contours Dies, Stitched So Sweetly Dies and the stamp set, Beauty of Friendship. The Rhinestone Basic Jewels were colored with Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends.
This next card was also made with Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper, Garden Green ink and Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends.
I used Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (also on sale until August 2nd) for the card below, Evening Evergreen ink and Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends.
This last card was made with Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper, Just Jade ink and Just Jade Stampin’ Blends. I started with a base of Thick Basic White cardstock and then added a layer of Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper that I cut with the Scalloped Contours Dies. Using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, I cut a piece of Vellum cardstock and another smaller piece out of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set using Garden Green ink (this stamp set is also included in the Beauty of Friendship Bundle) onto the Basic White rectangle.
I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and adhered it to the Vellum rectangle. I added more Stampin’ Dimensionals (I love my dimensionals) to the back of the vellum and added it to the front of the card. I used my Light Misty Moonlight Blend to color three of our Rhinestone Basic Jewels and added them to the sentiment piece. Definitely a quick and easy card to make!

Thank you so much for all the kind messages and prayers during the last several weeks. Your support and encouragement have meant so much to me. Here’s What You’ll Receive:

Yesterday afternoon Stampin’ Up! announced that this Thursday, June 24th will be a FREE SHIPPING Day for all orders $50 or more!!!! It’s time to get those lists started!
Today’s card features the new Basic Borders Dies. The set includes six dies with six different ways to dress up your paper! I made a border at the bottom of my card using these fun dies.
After cutting the border on my Thick Basic White cardstock base, I added a strip of Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper to the inside. Then I stamped the sentiment in Coastal Cabana ink using the stamp set, Create with Friends. When cutting the stitched scalloped edge, I opened the card up and placed the straight part of the die on the front of the card, about an inch from the bottom before running it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. If a die has any kind of stitching, I’m sold! The scalloped edge on this die is so sweet and I think the stitching definitely takes it up another notch.
The flowers were made using the Pierced Blooms Dies, Fresh Freesia cardstock and Coastal Cabana cardstock. The bottom flower was glued down to the card base but the top flower has Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back to pop it up. The Pierced Blooms Bundle includes the In Bloom stamp set (I didn’t use this stamp set on my card) and the Pierced Blooms Dies. Both of these products are in the new Annual Catalog but they are not priced as a bundle. This special bundle price will no longer be available after June 30th.
To complete my card, I added three rhinestones below the sentiment. This is definitely a quick and easy card to make!
