by Tracy | Mar 4, 2022 | Bundle, Designer Series Paper, Die-Cutting, Embossing Folders, Scalloped Contours Dies
Today’s card features the Sweet as Peach Bundle (on sale the month of March) and the Scalloped Contours Dies. The Sweet as a Peach Bundle (compatible with the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine and on sale this month) includes the Sweet as a Peach stamp set and the Peach Dies.
I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock and then added a layer of Basic White Cardstock that I ran through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using one of the Meadow Moments Embossing Folders. These embossing folders are smaller (compatible with the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine) and the entire piece of paper will not be completely embossed but I covered the part that wasn’t embossed with a piece of You’re a Peach Designer Series Paper.
I used the Scalloped Contours Dies to cut a scalloped rectangle out of a piece of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink using the Sweet as a Peach stamp set and then added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.
Using the Sweet as a Peach stamp set, I stamped the leaves in Pear Pizzazz ink and the flowers in Balmy Blue and Night of Navy ink onto Basic White cardstock and then cut them out using the Peach Dies. I glued the leaves down and then added Mini Stampin’ Dimensional to three flowers and placed them on the leaves. I added glue to the top flower and tucked it underneath (when I make this card again, I’m going to try adding Dimensionals to the leaves and then glue the flowers). To complete the card, I added three Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels.

Today’s card is a quick and easy one that was made using Stampin’ Up! Ornate Frames Dies, Ornate Layers Dies and Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper.
I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock and then added a layer of Basic White cardstock that was embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Usually I add a layer that’s a little bit smaller than the card base but this piece is the same size as the base. Next, I used the Ornate Layers Dies to cut a piece of Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper and then adhered it to the card front.
I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Rich Razzleberry ink and the stamp set, Eclectic Garden. I cut it out using the Ornate Frames Dies, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.
To complete the card, I added three Opal Rounds to the front of the card. See? Easy!!

by Tracy | Jan 26, 2022 | Card Sampler, Designer Series Paper, Embossing Folders, Quick & Easy Card
Today I have a very quick and easy card using New Horizons Designer Series Paper and the stamp set, On the Horizon.
I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock and added a layer of Basic White cardstock that I ran through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder. Then I cut a piece of New Horizons Designer Series Paper (you can find the measurements I used below). I stamped the sentiment and the birds in Memento Ink using the stamp set, On the Horizon, directly onto the Designer Series Paper.
I adhered the Designer Series Paper to a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock and then added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back before adhering it to the front of the card! Quick and easy, right?!!

Today’s card features the Hello Ladybug Bundle which includes the Hello Ladybug stamp set and the Ladybug Builder Punch (you save 10% when you purchase a bundle but the products can also be purchased separately). I also used Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper (a free Sale-a-Bration product), Seasonal Labels Dies and the Checks & Dots Embossing Folders.
I started with a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock. Then, I layered a piece of Basic White cardstock with a piece of Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper. Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper is one of the FREE Sale-a-Bration gifts you can choose when you place a $50 order! To learn more about Sale-a-Bration and all the free products you can earn, click here!
Before adhering the cardstock and Designer Series Paper to the card front, I wrapped a piece of Black & White Gingham ribbon around the left side, tied a knot and then placed it on the card base.
I used the Seasonal Labels Dies to cut a shape out of Basic White cardstock and then placed it in one of the Checks & Dots Embossing Folders. Normally I’d add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back before adhering it to the front of the card but I used Multipurpose Glue instead. I have a little bit of Creator’s Remorse (my made-up phrase) and wish I had used Dimensionals. I really, really like the look I achieve when I use Dimensionals and it looks a bit flat to me but oh well. The cuteness of the ladybug makes up for it.
I used Memento ink and the Stamparatus to stamp the ladybug’s body and it worked GREAT! I got a really good solid impression. Then I stamped the wings onto another piece of Basic White cardstock using Real Red ink. I stamped the dots in Memento ink. Then I used the Ladybug Builder Punch to cut it out.
I used the Bough Punch to cut two leaves out of Granny Apple Green cardstock and then placed them inside the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder to give them a little bit of texture. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the ladybug and placed the ends of the leaves on the dimensionals and attached it all to the front of the card.
I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Basic White cardstock in Memento Ink using the stamp set Hello Ladybug and then cut it out with my Paper Snips. When I stamp small sentiments like this, I stamp at the bottom of the paper so that I have one straight edge and then trim the rest. I added Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and placed it on the card. To complete the card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.

Today’s card features quite a few new products from the Stampin’ Up! January – June 2022 Mini Catalog such as the Sweet Conversations Bundle which includes the Sweet Conversations stamp set and the Sweet Hearts Dies. I also used Sweet Talk 12′ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and the Gingham Embossing Folder.
I started with a piece of Highland Heather cardstock and then added a layer of Basic White cardstock that I ran through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Gingham Embossing Folder. Then I added a layer of Highland Heather cardstock with our Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper. One of the things I love about Stampin’ Up! is the color coordination. If you aren’t sure which colors to use with one of our papers, you can always find the colors in the catalog or on the package of paper. The Sweet Talk coordinating colors are:
I used the Sweet Hearts Dies to cut the little tag in Basic White cardstock. Then I stamped the sentiment in Highland Heather ink using the Sweet Conversations stamp set. Both of these products are included in the Sweet Conversations Bundle (save 10% with our bundles) but you can buy these products separately. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the the back of the tag and then adhered it to the front of the card. I made a bow using our Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon, added a Mini Glue Dot to the back and placed it at the top of the tag. I also used the Sweet Heart Dies to make the small Real Red heart that I added below the sentiment (I placed a Mini Glue Dot on the back).
To complete the card, I added three Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the front of the card. You can find all the measurements I used to make today’s card below the Supply List.
