Today’s card features Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper, one of fifteen packages of paper on sale this month! You can see all the paper on sale HERE.
I started with a base of Granny Apple Green cardstock and then added another layer of this pretty green paper but embossed it first with the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder using the Cut & Emboss Machine. For this particular card, I found that when using the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder, you need to be very careful that you’re placing your cardstock in the embossing folder straight. I had to add a few sheets to the recycle bin because I wasn’t paying attention that the paper was straight and when I glued it to the base, the whole card looked crooked. I’ve used this embossing folder many times before and have never had this problem but it was obvious with this card.
The Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper was cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back before adding it to the front of my card. The sentiment was stamped in Garden Green ink using the stamp set, Butterfly Gala, and then cut out with the Tasteful Labels Dies. I added some Gilded Gems to complete the card (these are very sparkly in person).

I don’t normally post on Saturday but how could I pass up sharing a card on World Cardmaking Day? People all over the world are making cards to celebrate! Will you be creating a card to send to someone? It’s amazing how you can brighten someone’s day just by sending a card and letting them know you are thinking of them!
Today’s card was made using Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper which is one of the papers on sale this month! I started with a base of Crumb Cake cardstock and then added another layer of Crumb Cake that I embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. The banner was created using the Triple Banner punch and Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper. The sentiment was stamped in Crumb Cake ink onto Whisper White cardstock using the stamp set, Gather Together and was cut out using the Stitched Shapes Dies.
The Bumblebee & Blackberry Bliss leaves were cut out using the Gathered Leaves Dies. Don’t you love the embossing on the leaves? This isn’t an extra step! When you run the leaves through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, the leaves will also be embossed! Gotta love that (and I do!). You can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List.

Today’s card features the Snowflake Wishes Bundle which includes the stamp set Snowflake Wishes and So Many Snowflakes Dies.
I used one of my favorites, the beautiful Feels Like Frost 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper on my card. This double-sided paper features foil designs on one side and photographic images on the other. It debuted last year in the Holiday Catalog and was brought back. I couldn’t be happier!
Feels Like Frost pairs beautifully with our Silver Foil paper. I used it to layer the Designer Series Paper as well as the embossed Whisper White cardstock (I used the Winter Snow Embossing Folder). The snowflake was also cut out with Silver Foil but before running it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, I cut the foil to the size I wanted and then adhered it to one of our Foam Adhesive Sheets that I cut down to the same size.
I used the stamp set Snowflake Wishes for the sentiment and stamped it with Versamark ink (it’s a very sticky ink). Then I sprinkled Silver Embossing Powder over it and heated it with my Heat Tool. Heat Embossing is so easy and it always adds elegance to a card!

Several days ago I shared a box I made for a pack of gum and today I have three more boxes. Two of the boxes are decorated with Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper and the other one with one of our 3D Embossing Folders. All three boxes were tied up with the GORGEOUS 1-1/2″ Metallic Mesh Ribbon in the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog. It’s part of the Magic In This Night Suite (Halloween products) but I think it can be used for any occasion! It’s very fancy looking!
The first box was made using Basic Black cardstock and to decorate it, I used the Cobwebs 3D Embossing Folder with Gorgeous Grape cardstock. The spider was cut out using our Black Glitter Paper and the Little Treat Box Dies. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Ink using the stamp set, Banner Year, and was cut out using the Stitched Shapes Dies (I also used this stamp set and dies for the second box).
I used Basic Black cardstock to make the second box and Pretty Peacock cardstock for the third one. Both have a piece of Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper on the top.
These boxes are really easy to make and while I made them to fit a pack of gum, any small treat would fit inside!
