I started with a base of Thick Basic White cardstock and then added a layer of Fresh Freesia cardstock. Next, I stamped the flowers onto Basic White cardstock using Fresh Freesia ink and the stamp set, Flowing Flowers. I didn’t worry about stamping in the middle of the cardstock because I knew I’d be covering it up with the sentiment. This stamp set is in our DistINKtive line and these stamps are always so detailed!
After stamping the flowers, I adhered that piece to the base of the card. I cut the “thanks” out using the Amazing Thanks Dies. One piece was cut out of Basic White cardstock and for the other, I used Gorgeous Grape cardstock. I used Multipurpose Glue to glue the two pieces together and then used it to glue the words to the circle which I cut out using the Beautiful Shapes Dies.
I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the circle before placing it on the front of the card. For the finishing touch, I added four Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels(they really sparkle).

On Saturday I shared the card below, made with Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper, a free Sale-a-Bration gift you can earn FREE with a $50 order (before shipping/tax). Today I have two more variations of the card. On Saturday I also included a free PDF tutorial with all the measurements that you can access HERE (scroll down past the Supply List).
This first card (below) has a Crushed Curry cardstock base and instead of using an embossed piece of cardstock on the side panel, I used another pattern in Daffodil Afternoon. I used the Hippo & Friends Diesto cut out the sentiment and the piece it’s layered with. I stamped the sentiment onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Memento Ink and the stamp set, Boughs & Blossoms.
This next card has a Pear Pizzazz base. All three cards use the same measurements and supplies. You can see Saturdays post here where you’ll find the link to the free tutorial with all the measurements.

Today’s card features some new products from the Stampin’ Up! January – June Mini Catalog and the Sale-a-Bration brochure!
I started with a piece of Pool party cardstock for the base of my card. Then I layered a piece of Basic White cardstock with Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper. This Designer Series Paper is part of the Friendly Hello Bundle and it’s one of the free gifts you can receive during Sale-a-Bration with a $100 order. If you choose this as your free gift, you’ll receive the Designer Series Paper and a stamp set.
Before adhering the Pool Party cardstock and Designer Series Paper to the base of my card, I wrapped our sheer Pool Party ribbon around the layers and tied a knot.
I stamped the sentiment using the brand new stamp, Happy Hedgehogs, in Memento ink and cut it out using the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch. You can also purchase the Happy Hedgehogs Bundle which includes this stamp set and a hedgehog punch. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and placed it on top of the ribbon. For the finishing touch, I added one of our Brushed Brass Butterflies. In the picture below, I used Pool Party ink instead of Memento Ink to stamp the sentiment.

I started with a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock. Then I used the So Many Snowflakes Dies to cut a piece of Basic White cardstock. I heat embossed the sentiment using silver embossing powder (see directions for heat embossing below). I adhered a piece of Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper to the back of the Basic White cardstock and then adhered both pieces to the front of the card.
I used the So Many Snowflakes Dies to cut two small snowflakes out of Blushing Bride cardstock. I added small dots of Multipurpose Glue to the back of both before adhering them to the card front. For some sparkle, I added a rhinestone to the center of both snowflakes. To complete the card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card.
How to Heat Emboss
Prepare your cardstock by rubbing an anti-static pouch over the surface of the paper as it helps keep away stray particles of embossing powder (Stampin’ Up! no longer carries this product but it’s a must when embossing). Stamp your sentiment or image using a Versamark pad. This is very sticky ink and your embossing powder will stick right to it. Sprinkle embossing powder over the stamped image and then shake off any excess. Before applying heat to your paper, heat the Heat Tool first so the paper won’t warp (about 10 seconds). Direct the heat over your image and watch as your image is transformed!

Today’s card is another sneak peek from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog which debuts on January 5, 2021. The gorgeous paper I used is called Hydrangea Hill (#154570) and it’s one of nine new packages of Designer Series Paper in the new catalog! I love playing with new paper!
I started with a base of Misty Moonlight cardstock and then added a layer of Whisper White cardstock. The Designer Paper was almost too pretty to cut, but I did! I cut three strips and then layered them onto the Whisper White cardstock (you can find the measurements I used below the Supply List).
I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink onto Whisper White cardstock using the stamp set, Happiest of Birthdays. Then I cut it out using the Hippo & Friends Dies. I cut another, larger layer, using Highland Heather cardstock. After layering the two pieces together, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card. This is such a quick and easy card to make!

Today I have two thank you cards featuring ‘Tis the Season 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. We all need thank you cards at this time of year, so I looked through this package of paper for designs that could be used in other ways besides holiday cards. This beautiful paper is retiring, on sale and available while supplies last!
The first card has a base of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and the second one is made with Shaded Spruce cardstock. I used the stamp set, Butterfly Gala, for the sentiment and cut it out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I really like the look of two Whisper White stitched rectangles layered together with Stampin’ Dimensionals. If you’d like to make today’s card, you can find the measurements below the Supply List.

Have you heard the news that Whisper White will be leaving the Stampin’ Up! lineup? Unfortunately the supplier’s mill producing our Whisper White cardstock has permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic (my heart goes out to all the people who have lost their jobs to this closure). Stampin’ Up! has dedicated many hours to source and test alternative cardstock options from several suppliers to find the perfect fit that still maintains the Stampin’ Up! quality you know and trust. The new cardstock will be called, Basic White and you can watch the video below for more information! While Basic White is not yet available, if you’d like all the product information, you can access the Basic White flyer, here.
