Have you heard about the Stampin’ Up! Color Revamp? Six returning In Colors have joined the core collection plus we have nine brand new colors. And on top of that, five new In Colors have joined the lineup! (To get a closer look at these colors, click the images).
My card today uses Blackberry Bliss, Highland Heather and Pool Party. I participated in a challenge using these three colors together and this is the card I came up with! Unfortunately Blackberry Bliss is looking a bit more like black in my photo but if you look at the collections photo above, you’ll get a better sense of the true color.
I layered Blackberry Bliss and Highland Heather together and added another layer of Whisper White that was embossed with the Layering Leaves embossing folder. I stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss using the brand new stamp set, Accented Blooms (this stamp set coordinates with the Tailored Tag Punch). (more…)
If you enjoy watercoloring, or you want to give it a try, I think you’ll like this video from Stampin’ Up! using the No Line Watercoloring technique. The trick is to faintly stamp an image so that once you color it in, it will look like you drew the image!
There are many new products used to create the card in the video including the stamp set, Better With You. This is a stamp set I ordered on June 1st when the catalog went live and I can’t wait to receive it! I’ve included a supply list below if you’d like to purchase any of the products mentioned.
Supplies Used to Create This Project
Want to make this project? Click any of the images and you’ll be directed to my Stampin’ Up! online store.
The 2018-2019 Annual Catalog is here!! Who doesn’t love lots of brand new products??? Want to take a look inside this beautiful new catalog? Click here to download a copy (it’s a large file so it may take a minute or two). Download my 2018-2019 Annual Catalog Shopping List so you can keep track of everything you like!
There are thirty-two bundles in the new catalog! Bundles include a stamp set and a coordinating tool such as a punch or a set of Big Shot dies and when you purchase a bundle, you save 10%. All of the bundles are tucked between the pages of the catalog but they can be easy to miss. I have a list of all the Stampin’ Up! Bundlesthat you can download and print!
I have a new host code this month! Use it and I’ll send you a Designer Series Paper sampler. If your order is over $50, you’ll also receive cardstock to match the paper in the sampler! If you aren’t sure what a host code is or how it works, click here for more information.
It’s the beginning of a new month and that means it’s time for the Glitter Queens Blog Hop! The new catalog is here, so we’re showcasing NEW products! Please note: ALL ordering will be unavailable from midnight to noon (Mountain Time) on June 1st while Stampin’ Up! transitions their ordering system to the new catalog.
My project for the hop this month is a treat holder. Several months ago I created this same project but it was much smaller. I wanted a treat holder that would fit Ghirardelli Squares so I made a few changes to the measurements and voila! a bigger treat holder. Be sure to check out the video below and follow along!
I used several new products to make all of my treat holders:
Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper
Gorgeous Grape cardstock
Blackberry Bliss cardstock (a returning, much loved, In Color)

I used the Stampin’ Up! Stitched All Around stamp set from the upcoming 2018-2019 Annual Catalog to create today’s card. I actually used several brand new products (all available starting this Friday).
Stitched All Around stamp set wood #146629 clear #146632
Love What You Do stamp set #148042
Garden Impressions 6″ x 6′ Designer Series Paper #146289
Stitched Labels Framelits #146828
Mango Melody cardstock #146989
Mango Melody stamp pad #147093
My card is a surprise because it’s a card within a card!
I made today’s card in April while attending On Stage in Las Vegas and it uses all new products! All of it will be available on June 1st, except for the new Stampin’ Blends which we’ll have to wait a bit longer for, hopefully just until mid June. As I announced yesterday, all of the original Stampin’ Blendsare back in stock which makes me very happy!!
I used the beautiful Graceful Glass 6′ x 6″ Designer Vellum which comes in 12 different designs. Using two brand new Stampin’ Blends (Pineapple Punch and Lovely Lipstick), I colored the back of the vellum. Imagine all the possibilities by just changing the colors you use or how you color it in! I added a glue dot in each corner to adhere it to the brand new Lovely Lipstick cardstock. The banner below the sentiment is our new Pineapple Punch cardstock.
The sentiment is from the stamp set Painted Glass which will be available separately or as a bundle. When you purchase the Painted Glass Bundle (available in wood and clear mount) which includes the Painted Glass stamp set and the coordinating Stained Glass Thinlits, you’ll save 10%.
Did you notice the sparkly 1/8″ Cord that I used to make my bow? It’s brand new too and in addition to black, gold will also be available on June 1st.
All of the supplies I used are listed below. If you click on any of the images, you’ll be taken to my online store where you’ll be able to see the products in much more detail. Just three more days until you can start purchasing from the new catalog!
Stampin’ Up! Supplies I Used to Create Today’s Card
Great news!! Stampin’ Blends are back in stock! I know it’s been a long wait, but they’re here!! The Stampin’ Blends are alcohol based, dual tip markers in eleven Stampin’ Up! colors. The Blends are available in combo packs (except for Bronze, Ivory and the Color Lifter) of dark and light shades or you can purchase them individually.
If you’ve never tried alcohol based pens, they make your coloring look beautiful! Once you try them, you’ll be hooked!!
If you’veplaced an order with mein the last six months, you should already have received your brand new Stampin’ Up! catalog in the mail! It’s a beauty!! If you’ve peeked inside, you’ve seen that there are 11 new Stampin’ Blends colors!!!! I can’t wait to get my hands on them! Unfortunately though, the official word is that the new colors won’t be available until mid-June. But the good news is that you can now get the previously released colors that have been on backorder. Click here to shop our collection of Stampin’ Blends!
Here are projects I’ve made with Stampin’ Blends, but please note that some of the products used are currently on the Retiring List or are no longer available.

The new Stampin’ Up! catalog goes live in one week!!! I have four brand new products on my card today and all of them will be available on June 1st:
Animal Outing stamp set (available in wood and clear)
Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set (available in wood and clear)
Stitched Labels Framelits
Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper
In the supply list below, not all of the new items are in the system yet so they aren’t showing up in the list. You won’t be able to purchase the first three items until June 1st but you can click the images and see them up close in my online store!
It’s so much fun working with new products! I used the Stitched Labels Framelits to cut out the sentiment. Did you notice that it coordinates with the Stitched Shapes Framelits (what I used to cut out the kangaroo and koala)? I love this coordination! Using the Framelit that I used for the sentiment, I cut two more out in in Crumb Cake and Tranquil Tide, cut them in half and then attached the ends to the sentiment. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings (32 different stamps, all, itty bitty). The cute kangaroo and koala are from the new stamp set Animal Outing and I used my Stampin’ Blends to color them in. By the way, a little bit of bad news, I just heard that the brand new colors of Stampin’ Blends won’t be available on June 1st, but later in the month. I haven’t heard any updates on the current colors.
I’ll be back tomorrow with a new card. We’ve had the best kind of excitement in our family, a new baby! Our daughter, Erin, gave birth to our third grandchild, a little boy, on Tuesday night. We’ve been waiting nine long months for his arrival and we’re loving every minute we can spend with him! He is absolutely precious!
In just a few days, all of the retiring stamp sets will be while supplies last. When all of the retiring sets were announced at the beginning of the month, Stampin’ Up! guaranteed that every stamp set would be available but only until May 25th. Today’s card uses a cute stamp set from the Occasions catalog, Flying Home, and it’s on the retiring list! Be sure to order before Friday so you don’t miss out on adding this set to your collection! You can see all of the retiring stamp sets, here.
