I’m not a person who likes coffee, lattes or tea, but I do love a good cup of hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream, especially when I’m watching Hallmark movies. Sometimes I’ll add a Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark Square to my hot chocolate, too! We’re having anything but Fall weather where I live in Southern California, in fact, we’ve had triple digit temperatures this past week. We won’t see any relief until Wednesday (fingers crossed). Anyway, I’m wishing for Fall weather!
For my card today, I used the More Than Autumn Bundle, Take a Bow 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, Stylish Shapes Dies and Spotlight on Nature Dies. I didn’t realize until I had made my card that I used three different sets of dies. If you only have the Stylish Shapes Dies, there is a circle pretty close to what I used to put my hot chocolate on.
I started with Garden Green cardstock for the base of my card. Then I added a layer of Basic White cardstock with a piece of Take a Bow Designer Series Paper (DSP). Next, I stamped the cup onto Take a Bow DSP using Memento Ink, the whipped cream on to Basic White and I did another cup onto Real Red cardstock, using Memento Ink. I used the More Than Autumn dies to cut the whipped cream but the cups I used my Paper Snips to cut them out (if you use the dies, it will have a rim around it and for this card, you don’t want the rim). I only cut the center part out on the Real Red cardstock.
Next, I added an Adhesive Sheet to the back of my Real Red cardstock and cut the words “Hot Cocoa” out using my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the More Than Autumn Dies. I stamped a candy cane onto Basic White cardstock using Real Red ink and cut it out with the More Than Autumn Dies. I also stamped “Nothing’s Better Than” in Real Red ink onto Basic White cardstock and cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I cut a large circle out of Basic White cardstock using the Spotlight on Nature Dies.
Now on to assembly of the card. I made sure where I wanted everything to go before gluing it down. I adhered the circle to the front of the card. I glued the center of the cup in Real Red cardstock to the cup and then added glue to the lower portion of the whipped cream and adhered it to the cup. Then I added Stampin’ Dimensionals all over the back of the cup and adhered it to the circle. Then I added the candy cane to the center of the cup.
I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and adhered it to the top of the card. Then, I peeled off the adhesive sheet on the back of “Hot Cocoa” and adhered it to the front of the card.
To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White to the inside.

Today I’m sharing a card I made with Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper, Winterly Tree Tops Dies, Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder, and Earth Tones Shimmer Gems (all of these products are new!). I also used Blueberry Bunches stamp set and the Spotlight on Nature Dies.
I started with Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card. Then, I added a layer of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and a piece of Nests of Winter DSP (you can find the measurements I used below the Supply List). Next, I used the Spotlight on Nature Dies to cut a large circle out of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and a smaller one out of Basic White cardstock. I used the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the Basic White circle.
I adhered the Basic White circle to the Cherry Cobbler circle and adhered it to the front of the card. I used the Winterly Tree Tops Dies to cut the bird out of the Nests of Winter DSP (I love when there are dies that correspond to DSP). I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the bird and adhered it to the embossed Basic White cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using Cherry Cobbler ink and the Blueberry Bunches stamp set. I cut it out using the same design that I used for the other two circles using the Spotlight on Nature Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and placed it on the card. To complete my card, I added three Earth Tone Shimmer Gems to the front.

Today I’m sharing a new product from the Stampin’ Up! September-December Mini Catalog. I have three cards to share and they all use the same layout. I used Regal Winter Designer Series Paper to make my cards as well as Blueberry Bunches stamp set and the Nested Essentials Dies.
For this first card, I started with a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock for the base of my card (you can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List). I added the Regal Winter Designer Series Paper to both sides of the card and then added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.
I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using the stamp set Blueberry Bunches with Blackberry Bliss ink. I then cut the sentiment out using the Nested Essentials Dies. I cut the same shape, but larger in Blackberry Bliss cardstock. Next, I adhered the sentiment to the Blackberry Bliss. On the back, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the right side only and attached it to the left side of the card.
For this next card I used Night of Navy cardstock and Night of Navy ink.
For this last card I used Cherry Cobbler cardstock and Pretty Peacock ink.

I have three cards to share with you today. I used the same layout as I did yesterday but I changed out different patterns of Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (on sale this month and on the Low Inventory List) and cardstock colors. I also used the Thoughtful Wishes Bundle, Everyday Details Dies, Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder and a new embellishment that will be available on September 4th! I started with a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock for the base of my card. Then, I embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Before adhering it to my card base, I cut three strips of Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper and adhered them to the embossed Basic White cardstock. Then, I adhered the Basic White cardstock to the front of the card.
I cut a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock using the Thoughtful Wishes Dies. You can adhere this to the front of the card in one of two ways: 1. Add an adhesive sheet to the back of the cardstock before you run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (I’ll add the adhesive sheets in my Supply List) or 2. Add very small amounts of Multipurpose Glue to the back of the shape. You don’t have to add glue to every place on the back, I made sure to add glue to the all of the tips.
I stamped my sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using Pretty Peacock ink and the stamp set, Thoughtful Wishes. I cut it out using the Everyday Details Dies, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.
To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside and then added three Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments to the front.
For this next card, I used Fresh Freesia cardstock and Fresh Freesia ink.
For this final card I used Misty Moonlight cardstock and Misty Moonlight ink.

The card I’m sharing today was made with Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (on sale this month and on the Low Inventory List), the Thoughtful Wishes Bundle, Everyday Details Dies, Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder and a new embellishment that will be available on September 4th! The new embellishment is called Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments #164223 and they are gorgeous!
Funny story, when I went to adhere my Basic White cardstock to the inside, I realized I had done my card upside-down!! I hate when that happens but it did make me chuckle that I had done it once again!! If you think that only happens to you, it doesn’t! It happens to all of us!
I started with a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock for the base of my card. Then, I embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Before adhering it to my card base, I cut three strips of Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper and adhered them to the embossed Basic White cardstock. Then, I adhered the Basic White cardstock to the front of the card.
I cut a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock using the Thoughtful Wishes Dies. You can adhere this to the front of the card in one of two ways: 1. I needed a card for my son-in-law’s birthday and I’m sharing the card I made for him. I used Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper (DSP). This has been unavailable for a few weeks but it’s now in and on sale until August 31st. I also used the Happiest Day stamp set, Spotlight on Nature Dies and the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder. I have another version of this card using Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper and you can see that card here.
I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card. Then I cut my Winter Meadow DSP (you can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List) and then added a strip of Pretty Peacock cardstock that I embossed using the Dashing Designs Embossing Folder. I try to cut it a little bit a longer than needed and then I can just trim it off. I adhered the DSP to a piece of Pretty Peacock and then adhered the entire piece to the front of my card.
I stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink onto Basic White cardstock using the stamp set, Happiest Day. I then cut it out using the Spotlight on Nature Dies (these dies are currently unavailable but are estimated to be back in stock the week of September 9th, but sometimes products do come in earlier than anticipated). I cut a larger circle out of Pretty Peacock cardstock and then adhered the sentiment to the front. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.

I have another sneak peek for you of Stampin’ Up! Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper (available September 4, 2024). I used other new products to make my card today:

I also used the Attention Shoppers stamp set and the Everyday Details Dies.
I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card. Then I embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder (available September 4, 2024) and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I then adhered the embossed Basic White cardstock to the front of the card.
Next, I used the Winterly Tree Tops Dies (available September 4, 2024) to cut a piece of Garden Green cardstock. I used Multipurpose Glue to adhere it to the card front. Then, I cut the birds out of Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper (available September 4, 2024), with the Winterly Tree Tops Dies. I love when the dies will cut images out of DSP.
I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the birds and then set them aside. I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock in Real Red ink using the stamp set, Attention Shoppers and cut it out using the Everyday Details Dies. I had to cut part of the sentiment off otherwise it would be seen between the birds. I attached the sentiment under the birds with a Mini Glue Dot and then added Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered the sentiment and the birds to the front of the card.
To complete my card, I added three white Earth Tone Shimmer Gems (available September 4, 2024) to the front of the card.

On to my cards for today! I used Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper (on sale this month), the Simply Said stamp set, Perennial Postage Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies and the Fern 3D Embossing Folder.
I started with Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card. I then embossed a piece of Night of Navy cardstock using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I adhered the embossed piece to the card front.
I used the Perennial Postage Dies to cut a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock and then I cut a piece of Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper to place on the Balmy Blue cardstock. I adhered the two pieces together, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and placed it on the card front.
I stamped the sentiment on to Basic White cardstock using Night of Navy ink and the stamp set, Simply Said. I cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies and cut a larger circle out of Balmy Blue cardstock. I adhered the two pieces together, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.
To complete my card, I added three Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems to the front. My pictures do not show how beautiful these gems are! They really do sparkle!!!
This next card uses all the same products as the one above but I used the Unbounded Love Bundle for the sentiment and one of the dies to cut the sentiment out. I also used Baker’s Twine around the card.

I have a sneak peek of new products today! Stampin’ Up! knocked it out of the ballpark with Regal Winter 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper! Today I am showcasing three new products that will be available on September 4, 2024. They are:
- Regal Winter 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (#164156)
- Regal Foiled Adhesive-Backed Dots (#164038)
- Blackberry Bliss & Gold 1/2″ Textured Ribbon (#164039)
I also used the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set and the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch.
This is the same card layout that I posted yesterday. If you would like to see yesterday’s card, you can see it here.
I started with a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock for the base of my card. I added two pieces of Regal Winter DSP to a piece of Basic White cardstock. I then wrapped the beautiful Blackberry Bliss and Gold Textured Ribbon around this piece and tied a knot. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the card front.
I stamped my sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using Blackberry Bliss ink and the stamp set, Heartfelt Hexagon. I then used the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch to cut it out. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the top and bottom and adhered it to the front of the card. I put Dimensionals at the top and bottom because sometimes when I add them all over the back of the sentiment, it doesn’t sit properly on the ribbon.
To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside and then added three Regal Foiled Adhesive-Backed Dots to the front of the card.

Layering Leaves Mini Card Sampler
