The end of the Stampin’ Up! year is at the end of this month and I’ve been working towards a goal. I’m not quite there yet (almost!) but I need a little help so I’m going to give away a FREE Poinsettia Petals Bundle. This offer is good September 25 – September 30th at noon (Pacific Time). Read below for all the details!
I’ll post the winner’s name on my blog later in the day on September 30th!
There are two ways to enter:
Every $50 (before shipping/tax) you order at my Stampin’ Up! Online Store between September 25 -September 30 at noon Pacific Time, will earn you an entry. Please use the host code SQSANPGZ but if your order is over $150, don’t use the host code so you can earn Stampin’ Rewards directly from Stampin’ Up! (you’ll still earn the free embellishment from me).
Earn an entry by leaving a comment on this post before noon (Pacific Time) on September 30, 2020.
My Brightly Gleaming Card Sampler is only available until September 29th. If you would like the Sampler AND to be entered to win the Poinsettia Petals Bundle, use the Brightly Gleaming Card Sampler host code (you’ll find it below) and I’ll enter your name into the drawing.

I used one of my favorites, the beautiful Feels Like Frost 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paperon my card. This double-sided paper features foil designs on one side and photographic images on the other. It debuted last year in the Holiday Catalog and was brought back. I couldn’t be happier!
Feels Like Frost pairs beautifully with our Silver Foil paper. I used it to layer the Designer Series Paper as well as the embossed Whisper White cardstock (I used the Winter Snow Embossing Folder). The snowflake was also cut out with Silver Foil but before running it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, I cut the foil to the size I wanted and then adhered it to one of our Foam Adhesive Sheets that I cut down to the same size.
I used the stamp set Snowflake Wishes for the sentiment and stamped it with Versamark ink (it’s a very sticky ink). Then I sprinkled Silver Embossing Powder over it and heated it with my Heat Tool. Heat Embossing is so easy and it always adds elegance to a card!
You can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List.

Several days ago I shared a box I made for a pack of gum and today I have three more boxes. Two of the boxes are decorated with Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper and the other one with one of our 3D Embossing Folders. If you’d like to watch the video showing how to make the box from last week, click here. To see the post for the Halloween box from last week along with the measurements I used, click here.
All three boxes were tied up with the GORGEOUS 1-1/2″ Metallic Mesh Ribbon in the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog. It’s part of the Magic In This Night Suite (Halloween products) but I think it can be used for any occasion! It’s very fancy looking!
The first box was made using Basic Black cardstock and to decorate it, I used the Cobwebs 3D Embossing Folderwith Gorgeous Grape cardstock. The spider was cut out using our Black Glitter Paper and the Little Treat Box Dies. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Ink using the stamp set, Banner Year, and was cut out using the Stitched Shapes Dies (I also used this stamp set and dies for the second box).
I used Basic Black cardstock to make the second box and Pretty Peacock cardstock for the third one. Both have a piece of Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper on the top.
These boxes are really easy to make and while I made them to fit a pack of gum, any small treat would fit inside!

Today I’m sharing a little box I made for a pack of gum using Stampin’ Up! Magic In This Night Designer Series Paperand the stamp set, Banner Year. I’ll have a video tomorrow showing how to assemble the box but today I will include the measurements I used (you can find them below the Supply List). Edited: I just realized that I incorrectly stated which stamp set I used. Up until now I didn’t realize that we have two Boo stamps! The one I used is from the stamp set, Have a Hoot. You can compare both stamp sets farther down in the post.
I used Basic Black cardstock for the both the top and bottom of the box and added a piece of Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper to the top. To add lots of sparkle, I added some 3/8″ Glittered Organdy Ribbon around the box and used Black Glitter paper for the spider and oval underneath the sentiment. The spider was die-cut using the Little Treat Box Dies.
The sentiment was stamped onto Whisper White cardstock with Memento Ink using the stamp set, Banner Year (please note that I used Have a Hoot as indicated in the first paragraph) and then cut out using the Layering Ovals Dies. Come back tomorrow and I’ll show you how easy it is to make this box!

I started with a piece of Mint Macaron cardstock and then added a layer of Very Vanilla cardstock that was embossed using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder (you can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List).
Next, I adhered a folded piece of Mint Macaron cardstock onto the front of the card and added a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock to the inside.
I added another piece of Very Vanilla cardstock to the front before adding the Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper. This paper is so pretty in person but I found it difficult to capture it’s beauty in my photographs.
Using the Layering Ovals Dies and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, I cut a scalloped oval using our Copper Foil Sheets. The sentiment, also cut out with the Layering Ovals Dies, was stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Mint Macaron ink and the stamp set, Borders Abound (I love the fonts used for the sentiments in this set). Before adding it to the card front, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back. Super easy to make!

I started with a base of Cajun Craze cardstock and then added a layer of Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (all the measurements I used can be found below the Supply List). Next, I cut a rectangle out of Whisper White cardstock using the Rectangle Stitched Dies (I used the second largest die). I knew where I wanted my sentiment to be so I stamped it in Cajun Craze ink before I stamped the tree.
I stamped the tree trunk in Crumb Cake ink and then stamped the leaves in Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry (in that order, from darkest to lightest). To add some sparkle, I added three Pumpkin Pie rhinestones from our Holiday Rhinestones. It was a pretty easy and quick card to make!

If I purchase the Starter Kit, do I have to sell Stampin’ Up! products to my family and friends? No, you are under NO obligation to sell. You can be your only customer. Of course once your friends see the cute cards you’re making, they’ll want to buy their stamping supplies from you.
Will I receive a discount on any products I buy? Yes!! This is the best part! You’ll receive at least a 20% discount on all your purchases.
Do I have to buy/sell a certain amount of product? The quarterly minimum is $300 in product (which is only $240 after your discount!) that can be from personal orders, online orders or ones from family and friends. The quarters are January – March, April – June, July – September, October – December. Once you join, your quarterly minimum begins during your first FULL quarter .
What if I can’t make the quarterly minimum? You’ll simply be dropped. No one will hassle you. No one will bother you. It truly is risk free to purchase the Starter Kit!
