Now on to my card for today! I used Take a Bow Designer Series Paper, A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper, Decorative Trees stamp set, Deckled Rectangles Dies and the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.
I started with a piece of Real Red cardstock for the base of my card. Then, I cut a piece of Take A Bow Designer Series Paper and adhered it to the front of the card. Next, I cut another piece of Real Red cardstock and a piece of Basic White cardstock that I embossed using the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. After I embossed the Basic White cardstock I adhered it to the front of the Real Red cardstock. I then used Multipurpose Glue to attach the stockings (the stockings are included in the A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper as a cut out) to the embossed Basic White cardstock, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.
I embossed the sentiment using a Versamark pad, silver embossing powder and the Decorative Trees stamp set. Then, I cut it out using the Deckled Rectangles Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.
To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card.

Here’s my card for today! I used A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper, Greetings of the Season stamp set, Deckled Rectangles Dies, Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder and some heat embossing!
I started with Real Red cardstock for the base of my card. Then, I added a piece of A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper to the front of my card. I embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock that I embossed using the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I added the embossed cardstock to a piece of Real Red cardstock, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.
Then, I heat embossed my sentiment using the stamp set, Greetings of the Season. If you have never tried heat embossing, I have directions down below. You’ll love the results! I used Gold Embossing Powder because there are flecks of gold in the Christmas tree. I then cut the sentiment out using the Deckled Rectangles Dies.
I punched out the tree (this set comes with three pages of die cuts that you just punch out – how easy is that!), and added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back. Then, I figured out where I wanted to put the tree and sentiment. I adhered the sentiment to the front and adhered the tree beside it.
How to Heat Emboss
Prepare your cardstock by rubbing the Embossing Buddy (an anti-static pouch that can be found in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit) over the surface of the paper as it helps keep away stray particles of embossing powder. Stamp your sentiment or image using a Versamark pad. This is very sticky ink and your embossing powder will stick right to it. Sprinkle embossing powder over the stamped image and then shake off any excess. Before applying heat to your paper, heat the Heat Tool first so your paper won’t warp (about 10 seconds). Direct the heat over your image and watch as your image becomes shiny and beautiful!

Today I’m sharing a card I made using Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper, Greetings of the Season stamp set, Sentimental Wishes Dies (they are currently on the Low Inventory List), Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder and the Deckled Rectangles Dies.
I started with a piece of Real Red cardstock for the base of my card. Then, I cut a piece of Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper and adhered it to the front of the card. Next, I cut another piece of Real Red cardstock and embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I adhered the embossed cardstock to the front of the Real Red cardstock, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.
I used the Sentimental Wishes Dies to cut the stocking out of Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and then set it aside.
I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using Real Red ink and the stamp set, Greetings of the Season. I then cut it out using the Deckled Rectangles Dies (I made sure that I cut it over to the left as far as possible because it would be too long). I adhered the sentiment to the front of the card and then added the stocking to the right of it being sure to cover the excess part of the sentiment.
To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside. You can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
Today’s card was created using Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper, the So Sincere stamp set, Paper Butterfly Accents, Deckled Rectangles Dies and one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders.
I started with Gorgeous Grape cardstock for the base of my card. Then, I embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock using one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and then I adhered it to the front of the card.
Next I cut a piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock and Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper with the Deckled Rectangles Dies. I adhered the Fresh Freesia rectangle at an angle and then adhered the DSP rectangle.
I stamped my sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Gorgeous Grape ink and the stamp set, So Sincere. I cut it out using the Deckled Rectangles Dies. I didn’t use Stampin’ Dimensionals for this card (shock!!!) and adhered it to the Designer Series Paper. You can’t add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the butterfly, which is why I didn’t pop up the sentiment with Dimensionals.
I used a Blending Brush to add color to my butterfly (there are 40 butterflies in one package of Paper Butterfly Accents) with Fresh Freesia ink. Then, I added Multipurpose Glue to the back and placed it on my card. To finish my card, I added three Purple Fine Glimmer Gems and added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.

Over the past several days, I received two orders from one person who chose that I not contact them. I am perfectly fine with that decision but I have found that people don’t realize that option has been selected. Today’s card was created using Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper (on sale this month), the Deckled Rectangles Dies and Wanted to Say Dies. I didn’t use a stamp set or ink! I have two variations of this card, one was made with Basic White cardstock and the other with Very Vanilla. You can decide which one you like better!
I started with a piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock for the base of my card. Then I used the Deckled Rectangles Dies to cut a piece of Basic White cardstock and two different designs of Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper. I adhered all three pieces to the front of the card.
I used the Wanted to Say Dies to cut out the words Feel Better Soon in Lost Lagoon cardstock and the ‘background” in Basic White cardstock. I used our Multipurpose Glue to adhere the words to the background and then added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back before adhering it to the front of the card.
To complete the card, I adhered a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.
There are some lines of white in this print of Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper so I think both Basic White or Very Vanilla look nice and it’s just a preference of what you like. Below you’ll find the card made with Very Vanilla cardstock.
