Stampin’ Up! Scottie Dog Punch

Today’s card features the Scottie Dog Punch. When I first saw this punch, I didn’t purchase it but after seeing so many cute cards using it, I had to have it. You can also purchase this punch as a bundle which also includes the Christmas Scottie stamp set

I started with a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock and then added a layer of Basic White cardstock that I embossed using the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder. Before adding it to the card base, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Ink using the stamp set, Fond of Autumn, and I added a strip of Gingham Cottage Designer Paper (DSP). I like to adhere the DSP before adding it to the card base just in case the paper needs to be trimmed a little.

I used the Layering Circles Dies to cut a scalloped circle out of Basic Black cardstock and another smaller one out of Pumpkin Pie cardstock. Then, I cut a circle out of Basic White cardstock.  I adhered all the pieces together and then added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the DSP.

I used the Scottie Dog Punch to cut the dog out of Basic Black cardstock and I used Gingham Cottage DSP to cut his bow. I used a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional to attach the bow to the dog and our regular Stampin’ Dimensionals were added to the back of the dog and then it was adhered to the Basic White circle. To complete the card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside and then added three Elegant Faceted Gems to the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths Bundle

Today’s card features the Cottage Wreaths Bundle which includes the Cottage Wreath stamp set and the Country Wreaths Dies

I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock for the card base. Then I added a layer of Basic Black cardstock and Paper Pumpkin cardstock that I embossed using the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder. Next, I added a layer of Basic Black cardstock with a piece of Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper (this package includes 48 sheets). I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered this layer to the front of the card.

I used the Country Wreaths Dies to cut a wreath out of Basic Black cardstock and another out of the same design of Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper that I used for the previous layer. I glued the two pieces together using Multipurpose Glue and then adhered the wreath to a scalloped circle that I cut out of Basic White cardstock using the Layering Circles Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it the front of the card.

I used the Cottage Wreath stamp set to stamp “Boo” onto a piece of Basic White cardstock in Memento ink and then cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I added two Stampin’ Dimensionals in the middle of the banner and adhered it in the center of the wreath.  To complete my card, I added two Matte Black Dots to either side of the sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Fond of Autumn Bundle

Today’s card features the Fond of Autumn Bundle which includes the Fond of Autumn stamp set and the Autumn Bouquet Dies. I also used the Twigs & Sprigs Embossing Folder and the Layering Circles Dies.

I started with a piece of Sweet Sorbet cardstock for the base of my card.  Then I added a layer of Basic White cardstock that I embossed using the Twigs & Sprigs Embossing Folder. I used the Layering Circles Dies to cut a circle out of Basic White cardstock and a larger, scalloped circle out of Sweet Sorbet cardstock. I adhered the two layers together, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the card front.

Next, I stamped the flowers and leaves onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Memento Ink. The stamp I used is one large stamp but when you cut it out with the Autumn Bouquet Dies, it cuts it into four different pieces so it isn’t necessary to color the entire stamped image for this card.

I colored the flowers and leaves using Stampin’ Blends:  Sweet Sorbet (Light and Dark), Granny Apple Green (Light and Dark) and Daffodil Delight (Dark). After cutting it out, I adhered it to the Basic White circle and then added three 2022-2024 Matte Decorative Dots

I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using Sweet Sorbet ink and the stamp set, Fond of Autumn. I cut it out using the Autumn Bouquet Dies, added Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and then adhered it to my card.

  • Sweet Sorbet cardstock: 11″ x 4-1/4″  score at 5-1/2″ OR 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″  score at 4-1/2″  – the only difference is how your card will open
  • Sweet Sorbet cardstock (scalloped circle): approx. 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″
  • Basic White cardstock (flowers and leaves): approx. 4-1/2″ x 3″
  • Basic White cardstock (embossed layer and inside): 5-1/4″ x 4″

Stampin’ Up! This Birthday Piggy Bundle

Today’s card was made using one of the new dies in the Perfect Partners promotion, the Playful Piggy Dies. I also used Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper and the stamp set, This Birthday Piggy. The dies are available in the This Birthday Piggy Bundle or you can purchase them separately. The dies (and bundle) are only available until September 30, 2022 or while supplies last!

I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card.  Then, I cut three pieces of Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper into three strips and adhered them to the front of the card. I stamped the pig onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Memento ink and then colored him with these Stampin’ Blends:

  • Petal Pink (Light and Dark)
  • Pool Party (Light and Dark)
  • Daffodil Delight (Light)
  • Soft Suede (Light)
  • Fresh Freesia (Light)

I cut the pig out using the Playful Piggy Dies.

I used the Layering Circles Dies to cut a scalloped circle out of Balmy Blue cardstock and another circle out of Basic White cardstock. I adhered the two together, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the center of the card.

I stamped the sentiment in Memento ink using the stamp set, This Birthday Piggy and then cut it out using the Playful Piggy Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the back of the pig then added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of both the pig and sentiment and adhered them to the front of the card.

To complete the card, I added three Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Dots around the pig.  These gems are super sparkly!

Onto my last Sale-a-Bration card! I used the Hippest Hippos stamp set and the Hippo Dies to create today’s card. Each of these products can be earned with a $50 purchase but only until the end of today!

Edited to Add:  Unfortunately it seems the Hippos Dies have sold out. My link for the dies takes you to the landing page and not the product and that means they are gone. I’m sorry!!!

To create my card, I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock. Then I used the Basic Borders Dies to cut a scalloped edge across the bottom of the front. I adhered a piece of Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper to the inside so it would peek through.

I stamped the hippo in Memento ink and then colored him with Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends (Light & Dark) and for the flower I used Balmy Blue Blends (Light) and Granny Apple Green (Dark). I cut the hippo out using the Hippo Dies.

I used the Layering Circles Dies to cut the Balmy Blue and Basic White circles.  Then I placed the Basic White circle in the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.  I adhered the two circles together and added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back.

During Sale-a-Bration, the Timber 3D Embossing Folder can either be earned with a $50 order using the product number 163094 or it can be purchased using the product number 156406.

I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using Balmy Blue ink and the stamp set, Hippest Hippos. It was cut out using the Stitched Rectangles Dies.  I added a little bit of adhesive to the front of the sentiment and slipped it behind the hippo. I added more adhesive to the hippo and adhered it to the circles and then placed it on the front of the card.
