Today’s card features Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper and the Scalloped Contours Dies. Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper is one of nine Designer Series Papers on sale right now. Don’t pass up on this paper while it’s on sale. There are so many pretty designs! To see which papers are on sale, click here.
The Scalloped Contours Dies are currently on backorder but as of right now you can still order them and they’ll be sent to you just as soon as they’re in stock. If too many are backordered, Stampin’ Up! turns off the ability to order them until they’re in stock. Stampin’ Up! estimates they wlll be available the week of August 2nd.
SALE 15% OFF until August 2, 2021 – Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper
I started with a base of Thick Basic White cardstock and then added a layer of Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper that I cut with the Scalloped Contours Dies. Using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, I cut a piece of Vellum cardstock and another smaller piece out of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set using Garden Green ink (this stamp set is also included in the Beauty of Friendship Bundle) onto the Basic White rectangle.
I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and adhered it to the Vellum rectangle. I added more Stampin’ Dimensionals (I love my dimensionals) to the back of the vellum and added it to the front of the card. I used my Light Misty Moonlight Blend to color three of our Rhinestone Basic Jewels and added them to the sentiment piece. Definitely a quick and easy card to make!

Free Shipping Day is over and many of you took advantage of this surprise one day promotion! Thank you to everyone who placed an order yesterday!
I’m sorry, but I don’t have a Friday tutorial today. I’ve been at my mom’s, for a month now, to help her convalesce from a hospital stay. She had a setback this week and was hospitalized again on Wednesday afternoon. I stayed with her all day yesterday in the hospital and will be there each day until she comes home which, fingers crossed, should be on Sunday. Needless to say, I can’t quite concentrate on anything but my mom right now.
I didn’t want to just disappear and not let you know why. If you placed an order yesterday, thank you so much, and I will be in touch in the next few days. I hope to be back soon sharing my cards!
by Tracy | Jun 24, 2021 | Die-Cutting, Stampin' Blends
All orders $50 or more are shipping FREE, today ONLY!!!
Today’s card is a variation of the card I posted yesterday. If you missed yesterday’s card, you can see it here. I changed up the color of the cardstock, used a different sentiment and embossed my cardstock using the Stitched Greenery Die.
The base of my card is Thick Basic White cardstock with layers of Pale Papaya cardstock that I embossed using the Stitched Greenery Die. This die is used like any other die but your paper comes out of the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine embossed!
I stamped the flowers onto Basic White cardstock using Memento ink and the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set. They were colored using Pale Papaya and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. I cut them out using the coordinating Penned Flowers Dies. You can purchase this stamp set and dies as a bundle and save 10%.
The scalloped rectangle was cut out of Basic White cardstock using the Scalloped Contours Dies and the sentiment was stamped in Memento Ink with the stamp set Beauty of Friendship. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the flowers before adhering them to the scalloped rectangle.
On the back of the scalloped rectangle, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals, on the right side only, before adhering it to the card base.
