2024 Back to School Tax Holiday Information
Thirteen states and Puerto Rico offering a sales tax holiday for school supplies during the months of July and August. Products that are eligible according to the statute include “items normally used by students in a standard classroom for educational purposes.” To see the names of participating states, products exempted from tax, and sales tax holiday dates, click here.
Please note that you and your customers must place your order with Stampin’ Up! during the tax holiday period to receive these items tax-free (which is midnight on the first day to midnight on the last day of the tax holiday). Also, keep in mind that this is a state sales tax holiday; the state statute may not apply to county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.
Please note that Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, New Jersey, and Wisconsin have suspended the sales tax holiday this year.

What’s a Mystery Box?

I want to say thank you for the outpouring of kind words for the recent passing of my brother in law, Steve. All of your emails, cards and comments have meant so much to Mark and I. We knew we would lose Steve but as anyone who’s lost a loved one knows, it’s hard to be prepared when it actually happens. We’re still in shock that he’s gone. Pattern Party Card Kits
If you are a current customer of mine, you know I used to offer card kits. I’m bringing them back for a limited time and with some changes.

Each kit includes all the paper you’ll need to complete a beautiful card (the paper will be cut, scored, embossed and die cut for you). You’ll need to supply your own stamps, ink and adhesive. October Paper Pumpkin Kit

Stampin’ Up! Cut & Emboss Machine
The beautiful Stampin’ Up! Cut & Emboss Machine will debut on September 1st (we’ll have to wait a little bit longer for the Mini machine). The feature I love is that it folds up, nice and compact which makes it easy to carry. Inside the box you’ll also find a base plate, die plate, 2 cutting plates and a Specialty Plate (this will be used with your 3D embossing folders). All the plates are numbered which makes creating “sandwiches” a breeze!
