Stampin’ Up! Free Friendly Hello Bundle

Today’s card was made with the Friendly Hello Bundle, a Sale-a-Bration product you can earn FREE with a $100 order. It includes the Friendly Hello stamp set and Friendly Hello 12″ x 12′ Designer Series Paper.

I started with a base of Fresh Freesia cardstock and then added a layer of Basic cardstock and three pieces of Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper (you can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List). I then cut a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies

I stamped the bird and sentiment onto the stitched rectangle using Memento ink and then colored the bird and flowers with Stampin’ Blends. The bird was colored with both the Light & Dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blends and the flowers with Fresh Freesia Light & Dark Stampin’ Blends.  I used Light Crumb Cake to color the branch. Stampin’ Dimensionals were added to the back and I adhered it to the front of the card. I also adhered a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card.

To complete my card, I used my Light Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blend to color three clear Polished Dots and then placed them on the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug Bundle

Today’s card features the Hello Ladybug Bundle which includes the Hello Ladybug stamp set and the Ladybug Builder Punch (you save 10% when you purchase a bundle but the products can also be purchased separately). I also used Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper (a free Sale-a-Bration product), Seasonal Labels Dies and the Checks & Dots Embossing Folders.

I started with a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock. Then, I layered a piece of Basic White cardstock with a piece of Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper. Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper is one of the FREE Sale-a-Bration gifts you can choose when you place a $50 order! To learn more about Sale-a-Bration and all the free products you can earn, click here

Before adhering the cardstock and Designer Series Paper to the card front, I wrapped a piece of Black & White Gingham ribbon around the left side, tied a knot and then placed it on the card base.

I used the Seasonal Labels Dies to cut a shape out of Basic White cardstock and then placed it in one of the Checks & Dots Embossing Folders. Normally I’d add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back before adhering it to the front of the card but I used Multipurpose Glue instead.  I have a little bit of Creator’s Remorse (my made-up phrase) and wish I had used Dimensionals. I really, really like the look I achieve when I use Dimensionals and it looks a bit flat to me but oh well.  The cuteness of the ladybug makes up for it.

I used Memento ink and the Stamparatus to stamp the ladybug’s body and it worked GREAT! I got a really good solid impression. Then I stamped the wings onto another piece of Basic White cardstock using Real Red ink. I stamped the dots in Memento ink.  Then I used the Ladybug Builder Punch to cut it out.

I used the Bough Punch to cut two leaves out of Granny Apple Green cardstock and then placed them inside the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder to give them a little bit of texture. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the ladybug and placed the ends of the leaves on the dimensionals and attached it all to the front of the card.

I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Basic White cardstock in Memento Ink using the stamp set Hello Ladybug and then cut it out with my Paper Snips. When I stamp small sentiments like this, I stamp at the bottom of the paper so that I have one straight edge and then trim the rest. I added Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and placed it on the card.  To complete the card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.

Supply List

Below you’ll find all the Stampin’ Up! supplies I used for today’s card. If you need any stamping supplies, I’d love to be your demonstrator! You can place an order by clicking any of the images below to go to my Stampin’ Up! online store.

  • Granny Apple Green cardstock: 11″ x 4-1/4″  score at 5-1/2″

  • Basic White cardstock: scrap for sentiment

Stampin’ Up! New Horizons Designer Series Paper

Today’s card features the beautiful New Horizons Designer Series Paper, the Amazing Thanks Dies and the stamp set, On the Horizon.

I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock and then added two pieces of New Horizons Designer Series Paper.  Then I layered another piece of New Horizons Designer Series Paper onto a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of this layer before adhering it to the card front.

Using the Amazing Thanks Dies, I cut the larger thanks out of Basic White cardstock and the other out of Blackberry Bliss cardstock.  I added small dots of glue to the back of the Blackberry Bliss “thanks” to adhere the two pieces together, then added Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Basic White “thanks” and adhered it to the front of the card.

Amazing Thanks Dies Stampin Up

I stamped the sentiment ” Thanks for everything” onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Blackberry Bliss ink and the stamp set On the Horizon. Since I only needed the words “for everything” I could have masked out “thanks” by covering it up and then stamping, which I tried doing but it was so much easier to stamp the entire phrase and then cut off the thanks.  I used my Paper Snips to trim the sentiment, added Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and placed it on the card.

Next, I used my Light Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blend and colored five clear Polished Dots and then added them to the front of the card. Isn’t it fun to be able to color these dots in whatever color matches your card? Yes!!

You can find the measurements I used to create today’s card below the Supply List.

  • Blackberry Bliss cardstock: 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″
  • Blackberry Bliss cardstock (thanks): approx. 3-3/4″ x 1-1/4″
  • Basic White cardstock (larger thanks): approx. 3-3/4″ x 1-1/2″

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Conversations Bundle

Today’s card features quite a few new products from the Stampin’ Up! January – June 2022 Mini Catalog such as the Sweet Conversations Bundle which includes the Sweet Conversations stamp set and the Sweet Hearts Dies. I also used Sweet Talk 12′ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and the Gingham Embossing Folder

I started with a piece of Highland Heather cardstock and then added a layer of Basic White cardstock that I ran through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Gingham Embossing Folder. Then I added a layer of Highland Heather cardstock with our Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper. One of the things I love about Stampin’ Up! is the color coordination. If you aren’t sure which colors to use with one of our papers, you can always find the colors in the catalog or on the package of paper. The Sweet Talk coordinating colors are:

Coordinating Colors Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper

I used the Sweet Hearts Dies to cut the little tag in Basic White cardstock. Then I stamped the sentiment in Highland Heather ink using the Sweet Conversations stamp set.  Both of these products are included in the Sweet Conversations Bundle (save 10% with our bundles) but you can buy these products separately.  I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the the back of the tag and then adhered it to the front of the card. I made a bow using our Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon, added a Mini Glue Dot to the back and placed it at the top of the tag. I also used the Sweet Heart Dies to make the small Real Red heart that I added below the sentiment (I placed a Mini Glue Dot on the back).

To complete the card, I added three Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the front of the card.  You can find all the measurements I used to make today’s card below the Supply List.

Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper

Happy Monday!

On Saturday I shared the card below, made with Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper, a free Sale-a-Bration gift you can earn FREE with a $50 order (before shipping/tax). Today I have two more variations of the card. On Saturday I also included a free PDF tutorial with all the measurements that you can access HERE (scroll down past the Supply List).

This first card (below) has a Crushed Curry cardstock base and instead of using an embossed piece of cardstock on the side panel, I used another pattern in Daffodil Afternoon.  I used the Hippo & Friends Dies to cut out the sentiment and the piece it’s layered with. I stamped the sentiment onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Memento Ink and the stamp set, Boughs & Blossoms

This next card has a Pear Pizzazz base. All three cards use the same measurements and supplies.  You can see Saturdays post here where you’ll find the link to the free tutorial with all the measurements.

Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper

Today’s card features some new products from the Stampin’ Up! January – June Mini Catalog and the Sale-a-Bration brochure!

I started with a piece of Pool party cardstock for the base of my card.  Then I layered a piece of Basic White cardstock with Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper.  This Designer Series Paper is part of the Friendly Hello Bundle and it’s one of the free gifts you can receive during Sale-a-Bration with a $100 order. If you choose this as your free gift, you’ll receive the Designer Series Paper and a stamp set.

Before adhering the Pool Party cardstock and Designer Series Paper to the base of my card, I wrapped our sheer Pool Party ribbon around the layers and tied a knot.

I stamped the sentiment using the brand new stamp, Happy Hedgehogs, in Memento ink and cut it out using the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch. You can also purchase the Happy Hedgehogs Bundle which includes this stamp set and a hedgehog punch. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and placed it on top of the ribbon. For the finishing touch, I added one of our Brushed Brass Butterflies. In the picture below, I used Pool Party ink instead of Memento Ink to stamp the sentiment.
