Between the beautiful colors in the paper and the cute little sea creatures, I can’t stop playing with Whale of a Time 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.

Today’s card takes little to no time to assemble (all the measurements can be found below the Supply List)! I started with a base of Balmy Blue cardstock. Next, I adhered a piece of Whale of a Time 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper to a piece of Pacific Point cardstock. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of this layer before placing it on the card.

The sentiment was stamped onto Balmy Blue cardstock using Pacific Point ink and the stamp set, Today’s Tiles. I usually stamp my sentiments onto Whisper White cardstock but when I tried it with this card, it seemed too harsh so I went with Balmy Blue which kept with the theme of the ocean. The sentiment was placed where I could cover up the least amount of turtles. I used the Layering Ovals Dies to cut out the sentiment and the Pacific Point oval.

To add a little sparkle to the card, I added three Holiday Rhinestones in Coastal Cabana. A very quick and easy card!

Today’s card is a sneak peek of one of the projects in my Little Treats Bundle Kit. I created four projects using the Little Treats Bundle which includes the Little Treats Box Dies and the Little Treats Stamp Set.

Stampin’ Up! Cut & Emboss Machine
The beautiful Stampin’ Up! Cut & Emboss Machine will debut on September 1st (we’ll have to wait a little bit longer for the Mini machine). The feature I love is that it folds up, nice and compact which makes it easy to carry. Inside the box you’ll also find a base plate, die plate, 2 cutting plates and a Specialty Plate (this will be used with your 3D embossing folders). All the plates are numbered which makes creating “sandwiches” a breeze! Demonstrators can preorder the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine now so if you can’t wait, why not consider purchasing the Starter Kit and joining my team! Today’s card features Whale of a Time 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder. I love all the colors in this paper and the turtles and whales are so cute! You can see another card using this paper HERE.

On the new Stampin’ Up! website, there are some really great photos of this paper. If you click HERE or on the image of the Designer Series Paper below, you’ll be taken to the page on my Stampin’ Up! online store where you’ll see this paper. Once there, click the images on the left and scroll through the package!

To create the card, I started with a piece of Pacific Point cardstock and then added a layer of Whisper White (all the measurements can be found below the Supply List). I embossed a piece of Just Jade cardstock using the Seabed Embossing Folder and then adhered it to the Whisper White. I used more Pacific Point cardstock as a mat for the Designer Series Paper. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to this piece to pop it up.

The sentiment was stamped onto Whisper White cardstock using the stamp set, Today’s Tiles and Just Jade ink. It was cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and I used the next larger size to cut out the Pacific Point rectangle. My original plan was to place the sentiment more in the center of the card but I didn’t want to cover up the turtle who really does seem to be looking at you! Am I right?!

The sentiment on today’s card is one I agree with. Yes, I admit, I’m a chocoholic and chocolate can always be found in my home ESPECIALLY since March 2020.

The sentiment is actually three different stamps that I placed on my clear block. As you can see, there are so many different possibilities with this one stamp set! I’m not a coffee person but I do love my chocolate, cookies and cocktails, in that order, so this stamp set really speaks to me.

I stamped several chocolate images onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock using an Early Espresso stamp pad. After coloring them in with Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blends, I cut them out with the coordinating dies, Love You More Than. Then I placed the chocolates on my Whisper White cardstock so I could figure out where I wanted to place the chocolates. When I knew where I wanted all of them, I removed several and stamped some directly onto my paper and then added Stampin’ Dimensionals to four of the ones I’d cut out and adhered them to the card.
