Today’s card might look familiar. I made a very similar card a few weeks ago but made several changes to this “updated” one.
Here’s the first one I made. If you want to check it out, here’s the link to that post.
What are the differences between the two? First, I changed the measurements, just slightly so that less white would show between the panels (I’ve listed the measurements farther down in the post). Today’s card uses the Hammered Metal embossing folder rather than the Mosaic embossing folder. Instead of using the Gathered Leaves Dies, I used our Leaf Punch and embossed them with the Hammered Metal folder. The sentiment was cut out with the Stitched Shapes Dies and layered on a Merry Merlot oval using the Layering Ovals Dies.
Both cards have a cute little bow, made with our Linen Thread. The bows were adhered using just a dot of our Multipurpose Glue. A little of that glue goes a long, long way!
Try taking a card you’ve made before and change it up a bit!

Today’s card was made using the Baby Wipe Technique (I also have a video). This technique is super easy and lots of fun! You’ll need baby wipes and our ink refills (I also refer to them as reinkers in the video). I used Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry.
The leaf stamp is from Colorful Seasons and because I needed a small sentiment, I used the To Every Season stamp set. The base of the card is Pumpkin Pie with another layer of Cajun Craze.
To cut out the sentiment, I used these punches (click the images in the supply list below for more information about the punches):
Sentiment: 1″ Circle Punch
Pumpkin Pie layer: 1-1/8″ Scallop Circle Punch
Cajun Craze layer: 1-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch
Give this technique a try! I think you’ll really enjoy it!

Today’s card features Come to Gather Designer Series Paper and the Mosaic3D Embossing Folder.
The base of the card is Merry Merlot cardstock and I added another layer of Merry Merlot, embossed with our Mosaic 3D Embossing Folder.
To achieve the very best results when using our new style of 3D Embossing Folders, I used our 3D Embossing Folder Plate . This plate replaces the standard cutting plates when using the 3D folders but you’ll use the regular cutting plates for all other embossing folders. This is the sandwich you’ll use when using a 3D folder and the 3D Embossing Folder Plate:
Embossing Machine Platform
Embossing Folder with cardstock inside
3D Embossing Folder Plate
You won’t find this plate in a current catalog but you can find it in my online store here or by clicking the image of the plate below. If you have any questions, please reach out to me!
Let’s get back to my card! The piece of Come to Gather Designer Series Paper is layered with Cajun Craze cardstock, two colors I wouldn’t have paired together had I not seen how beautiful these colors are in this paper! This layer has Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back.
The sentiment is from the stamp set, Very Versailles, and it was cut out with a 1″ Circle Punch. I tend to primarily use Whisper White cardstock but for today’s card, I used Very Vanilla when stamping the sentiment. It sits on a layer of Merry Merlot cardstock that was cut using the 1-1/8″ Scallop Circle Punch and a Cajun Craze layer using the 1-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch. If you’d like to make today’s card, I’ve included the measurements below the supply list!

I stamped the sentiment three different times – twice in Terracotta Tile and once in Mint Macaron. The first one was stamped in Terracotta Tile and cut out with the larger die pictured below. Then I stamped it again in Mint Macaron and cut just the center using the smaller die. Then I stamped it again in Terracotta Tile and just cut out “thank you” using my Paper Snips. I used Snail to adhere them all together but added Stampin Dimensionals to the back of the larger piece and adhered it to a 2″ circle of Terracotta Tile. I also added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Terracotta Tile circle.

One of my first purchases from the new Annual Catalog was the Doily Wishes Dies. I immediately loved the intricate dies but decided I didn’t want the Wish For It Allstamp set. Well, the other day I purchased the stamp set and I’m disappointed because I lost out on saving 10%. Had I purchased the two products together using the special bundle item number, I would have saved 10%! I hate when that happens!
My card today uses the Doily Wishes Dies and the stamp set, Here’s a Card. I needed a small greeting, which is why I didn’t use the Wish For It All stamp set. The sentiment was stamped in Highland Heather and was cut out using the 1″ Circle Punch. I cut a scalloped oval using Pool Party cardstock and the 1-1/8″ Scallop Circle Punch for the sentiment to sit on. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back.
A piece of 6″ x 6″ Subtles Designer Series Paper in Pool Party sits on my base of Pool Party cardstock (Thick Whisper White cardstock would also work).
The piece of Whisper White cardstock is embossed using the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder. I finished the card by adding our Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins.
This card will be my free PDF Tutorial on Tuesday, which will include all the measurements, so check back next week. Thanks for stopping by today!

Today I have a little box that is just the perfect size for a gift card AND I have a video!
If making boxes seems intimidating, trust me, they are easy. Most boxes follow the same type of instructions and once you’ve made a few, you can whip right through them. The hardest part is figuring out the dimensions and I’ve done that for you!
It’s also quite easy to make your own shredded paper for the inside. Simply cut your cardstock very thin, scrunch it up and you have your own homemade filler for the box. How easy is that?
All of the supplies I used for both boxes can be found in the supply list below and can easily be ordered over at my online store. Don’t forget that Bonus Days are here until the end of July which means for every $50 purchase, you’ll receive a $5.00 Bonus Days coupon to spend in August.
Top of the box: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ score at 1″ on all four sides
Bottom of the box: 4-1/8″ x 5-1/2″ score at 1″ on all four sides (don’t forget to cut a smidge off of two connecting sides)
Designer Series Paper: 3-1/4″ x 2″
