Graceful Glass

I made today’s card in April while attending On Stage in Las Vegas and it uses all new products! All of it will be available on June 1st, except for the new Stampin’ Blends which we’ll have to wait a bit longer for, hopefully just until mid June.  As I announced yesterday, all of the original Stampin’ Blends are back in stock which makes me very happy!!

I used the beautiful Graceful Glass 6′ x 6″ Designer Vellum which comes in 12 different designs. Using two brand new Stampin’ Blends (Pineapple Punch and Lovely Lipstick), I colored the back of the vellum.  Imagine all the possibilities by just changing the colors you use or how you color it in! I added a glue dot in each corner to adhere it to the brand new Lovely Lipstick cardstock. The banner below the sentiment is our new Pineapple Punch cardstock.

The sentiment is from the stamp set Painted Glass which will be available separately or as a bundle.  When you purchase the Painted Glass Bundle (available in wood and clear mount) which includes the Painted Glass stamp set and the coordinating Stained Glass Thinlits, you’ll save 10%.

Did you notice the sparkly 1/8″ Cord that I used to make my bow? It’s brand new too and in addition to black, gold will also be available on June 1st.

All of the supplies I used are listed below.  If you click on any of the images, you’ll be taken to my online store where you’ll be able to see the products in much more detail.  Just three more days until you can start purchasing from the new catalog!

If you’ve never tried alcohol based pens, they make your coloring look beautiful! Once you try them, you’ll be hooked!!

If you’ve placed an order with me in the last six months, you should already have received your brand new Stampin’ Up! catalog in the mail!  It’s a beauty!! If you’ve peeked inside, you’ve seen that there are 11 new Stampin’ Blends colors!!!!  I can’t wait to get my hands on them! Unfortunately though, the official word is that the new colors won’t be available until mid-June.  But the good news is that you can now get the previously released colors that have been on backorder.  Click here to shop our collection of Stampin’ Blends!

Here are projects I’ve made with Stampin’ Blends, but please note that some of the products used are currently on the Retiring List or are no longer available.

Animal Outing

The new Stampin’ Up! catalog goes live in one week!!!  I have four brand new products on my card today and all of them will be available on June 1st:

  • Animal Outing stamp set (available in wood and clear)
  • Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set (available in wood and clear)
  • Stitched Labels Framelits
  • Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper

In the supply list below, not all of the new items are in the system yet so they aren’t showing up in the list. You won’t be able to purchase the first three items until June 1st but you can click the images and see them up close in my online store!

It’s so much fun working with new products! I used the Stitched Labels Framelits  to cut out the sentiment.  Did you notice that it coordinates with the Stitched Shapes Framelits (what I used to cut out the kangaroo and koala)? I love this coordination!  Using the Framelit that I used for the sentiment, I cut two more out in in Crumb Cake and Tranquil Tide, cut them in half and then attached the ends to the sentiment.  The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings (32 different stamps, all, itty bitty). The cute kangaroo and koala are from the new stamp set Animal Outing and I used my Stampin’ Blends to color them in.  By the way, a little bit of bad news, I just heard that the brand new colors of Stampin’ Blends won’t be available on June 1st, but later in the month.  I haven’t heard any updates on the current colors.

Have a wonderful weekend!

A Beautiful Baby Boy!

I’ll be back tomorrow with a new card.  We’ve had the best kind of excitement in our family, a new baby! Our daughter, Erin, gave birth to our third grandchild, a little boy, on Tuesday night.  We’ve been waiting nine long months for his arrival and we’re loving every minute we can spend with him!  He is absolutely precious!

See you tomorrow and enjoy your day!

Flying Home Is On the Retiring List

Tri-Fold Card Video

I don’t normally post on Saturday’s but I have the video I promised yesterday for my tri-fold card.  In the video I share several more samples which I’ll also post below and I use the Stamparatus to do my stamping on the front.  The Stamparatus will be available again on June 1, 2018, less than two weeks from now! The first two products in my supply list are available now but only in bundles (they each include free product).  Those bundles will go away on June 1st, but at that time you’ll be able to order the products separately. Tri- Fold Card

Today’s card is a Tri-fold that’s super easy to make.  I had hoped to have a video ready for today but I wasn’t able to film it. I hope to have it ready by tomorrow!

My card was made using the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper and Love What You Do stamp set.  As I’ve mentioned before, both of these products will be in the new annual catalog on June 1st but Stampin’ Up! is offering three Early Release bundles which include these two products. All three bundles include the Love What You Do stamp set but only the Gotta Have It All Bundle includes the gorgeous designer series paper.  You can see the information on all three bundles on this flyer or directly on my Stampin’ Up! online store here.

The flowers were stamped with Memento ink on Thick Whisper Whtie cardstock.  I used the Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends (light and dark) to color it in.  The Blends have been out of stock but I’m hoping that by next week we’ll be able to order them once again! (more…)

Covered Post It Note Holders

Several weeks ago I shared the Covered Post It Note Holders that everyone who places an order in the month of May with me, will receive as a thank you gift! Today I have a video showing you how to make one!  I used the beautiful Share What You Love Designer Series Paper.  It will be available on June 1st but can be purchased now as an Early Release in the Gotta Have It All Bundle.  You can see all three bundles being offered as well as the new In Color Collection bundle in this flyer or you can go directly to my Stampin’ Up! online store where you’ll find all the information too. These bundles (along with their free gifts) are only available this month.

I used some very teeny, tiny magnets for these holders.  I mentioned in the video that I purchased them on Etsy but I actually got them on eBay. Here’s the link to where I purchased mine.   (more…)

Love What You Do & Garden Impressions

If you love bright, colorful prints, you’re going to love the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper.  This 6″ x 6″ paper will be debuting in the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog and will be available on June 1, 2018.  This paper is gorgeous!

To create today’s card, I started with a base of Melon Mambo and paired it with Pacific Point. The sentiment is from another new product, the Love What You Do stamp set, which is also in the new catalog.  But only during the month of May, the Love What You do stamp set, along with many new products from the Share What You Love Suite, are part of three Early Release bundles.  Free gifts are also included in each bundle! To see everything included in these bundles, you can take a look at this flyer or watch the video included in this blog post.  If you have questions, let me know! (more…)

Garden Impressions Card

Yesterday I posted this card, showcasing the brand new Designer Series Paper, Garden Impressions and today I have several more cards using this gorgeous paper and a video!  Garden Impressions will be available, in just a few weeks, when it debuts in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog on June 1st! It includes 48 sheets of 6″ x 6″ paper with 4 each of 12 double-sided designs.

What’s different about this card is that you can see both sides of the Designer Series Paper! Watch the video below to see how easy it is to create! (more…)

A Garden Impressions Sneak Peek

I have a sneak peek for you today with three brand new products! All three products will be available June 1, 2018, when the new catalog debuts! The first new product is the beautiful Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper Stack which comes with 48 sheets of 6″ x 6″ paper with 4 each of 12 double-sided designs.  It coordinates with:

  • Calypso Coral
  • Mango Melody (new color)
  • Melon Mambo
  • Night of Navy
  • Pacific Point
  • Petal Pink (new color)
  • Powder Pink
  • Shaded Spruce  (new color)
  • Soft Sea Foam  (new color)
  • So Saffron
  • Whisper White

Night of Navy and So Saffron coordinate beautifully with this paper, don’t you think?

The second new product is the stamp set, Enjoy Life.  I stamped it with Night of Navy ink and cut it out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and layered it with a scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Framelits.

The third new product is the Night of Navy Medium Baker’s Twine that I used to create my bow. This Baker’s Twine is slightly thicker than the standard Baker’s Twine.

Tomorrow I’ll have a video showing how to make this easy card and more samples using the Garden Impressions paper!
