Today’s card was made using Symbols of Fortune 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper, the Inspired Thoughts stamp set, Meadow Dies and Soft Succulent Satin Shimmer Ribbon.
I started with a piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock for my card base. Then I adhered a piece of Symbols of Fortune Designer Series Paper to a piece of Soft Succulent cardstock. Before adhering this piece to the card base, I wrapped a piece of Soft Succulent 1/2″ Satin Shimmer Ribbon (this ribbon is beautiful!!) around the layers and tied a knot.
I stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink using the stamp set Inspired Thoughts and then cut it out with the Meadow Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and placed it on the card. To complete the card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.

Today’s card features the adorable Friends of the Forest stamp set. I also used the Deer Builder Punch and the Scalloped Contours Dies.
I started with a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock for the base of my card. I then cut a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Scalloped Contours Dies. I stamped the tree, flowers, tree trunk, bunny and sentiment directly onto the scalloped rectangle using Memento Ink and the stamp set, Friends of the Forest. On another piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the deer and used my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends to color it in. I cut it out using the Deer Builder Punch.
Here are the Stampin’ Blends I used to color everything:
- Deer – Crumb Cake (Dark and Light)
- Tree: Dark Crumb Cake and Light Granny Apple Green
- Grass: Granny Apple Green (Light)
- Flowers: Daffodil Delight (Dark) and Flirty Flamingo (Dark)
- Mushrooms: Crumb Cake (Light) & Pool Party (Light)
- Tree trunk: Dark Crumb Cake
- Bunny: Petal Pink (Light & Dark)
After coloring everything, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the scalloped rectangle and placed it on the card base. I added Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the deer before placing it on the card.
To complete the card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.

Today’s card was a fun one to make! I used the Brilliant Rainbow Dies, the new Cloud Punch and the stamp set, Friends of the Forest. I’ll be honest, I bought these dies several months ago and was a bit intimidated to use them. I don’t know why I waited so long because my card was really easy to make!
I started with a base of Pacific Point cardstock. Then I used the large rainbow die to cut a piece of Basic White cardstock. I added LOTS of Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and placed it on the card base. I used the same die to cut the colors of the rainbow using scraps that I had since I only needed one piece of the rainbow for each color. I then glued each color of the rainbow into each section. Easy peasy!
I used the Cloud Punch to cut two clouds out of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the sentiment on one of the clouds in Memento Ink using the stamp set, Friends of the Forest. I glued the other cloud to the bottom of the rainbow and added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the one with the sentiment and placed it beside the other cloud.
To complete the card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside and added three Iridescent Rhinestones to the front of the card.

Today’s cards feature several products that are retiring and available while supplies last. They are:
I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock and added a piece of Mint Macaron cardstock that I embossed using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered a piece of Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper to the Mint Macaron cardstock. Then, I wrapped a piece of Basic White ribbon (from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack) around this piece and tied a knot, added adhesive to the back and placed it on the Thick Basic White cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment in Mint Macaron ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using the stamp set, Biggest Wish and then cut it out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I cut a larger rectangle out of Misty Moonlight cardstock, adhered the sentiment to it, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and placed it on the card. To complete the card, I added three Polished Dots. Our Polished Dots have been unavailable but they are now back in stock again!
For my second card I used all of the same products but used Highland Heather cardstock and Gorgeous Grape ink.

I have two cards to share with you today that feature All Together 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and several retiring products on the Last Chance List. These products are available while supplies last! It’s possible that by the time you read this, some of these products will have sold out.
I started with a piece of Basic Black cardstock and then added a layer of Basic White cardstock that I embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. As I mentioned above, this embossing folder is retiring and I’m pretty sad about that. What I love about this folder is that it’s very subtle and doesn’t clash with a busy Designer Series Paper pattern. I really enjoy adding texture to a card and this one always works perfectly.
Next, I adhered a piece of All Together 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper to a piece of Basic Black cardstock and then wrapped a piece of Basic White ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack around the paper and tied a knot. This nice, wide ribbon is another product I love. Not all ribbons are easy to use but this one is. If I can’t wrap a ribbon around a card easily and tie it in a knot, then I won’t use it. This ribbon is retiring, comes with another ribbon and a beautiful Baker’s Twine AND it’s on sale with a 20% discount!
I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the ribbon wrapped piece and adhered it to the embossed Basic White cardstock. To complete the card, I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using Memento Ink and the stamp set, Free as a Bird. I cut it out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. To say I love these dies is an understatement. They are sweet and feminine and I’m REALLY, REALLY going to miss using them.
I added Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the top and bottom of the rectangle and then placed it on my card I didn’t want the Dimensionals sitting on top of the ribbon which is why I opted for using the Minis (the regular Dimensionals were just too big).
Here’s the other card I made using all the same products but this time I used a Thick Basic White cardstock base and a Basic White mat for the All Together Designer Series Paper. Although it’s hard to tell in my photo, I did emboss the Basic Black cardstock.

If you follow me, you know I love using our Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I was shocked and saddened to see them on the retiring list as they’ve definitely been a favorite of mine. I love the stitching and the delicate scallops. If you’d like to add these to your crafting favorites, I can’t stress enough, get them as soon as you can. I’ve been watching what has already sold out and the Just Jade Ink Refill showed up on the list yesterday. Several bundles are gone and a lot of stamp sets. With all the supply chain issues, we seem to have less in stock than we normally do so grab your favorites just as soon as you can!!
Yesterday I shared a card using the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set and today I have another card using this set along with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. You can see yesterday’s card here.
I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock and then added a layer of Flirty Flamingo Designer Series Paper from the Brights 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper pack (this paper is retiring and on sale). Then I cut a rectangle out of Basic White cardstock using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and stamped the tree in Memento ink.
I colored the tree using our Watercolor Pencils and Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2 and used a Blender Pen to spread and soften the color. I used Flirty Flamingo, Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight and Garden Green. I stamped the sentiment in Garden Green ink using the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set and then cut it out using one of the dies from the Sweet Hearts Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals only to the part of the sentiment that would be on the rectangle. To complete the card, I added a small Brass Butterfly to the sentiment and two larger ones around the tree.

Yesterday we found out which products from the Annual Catalog are retiring. I was surprised that some products were retiring and happy that others were not. In years past, stamp sets were guaranteed until a certain date but that isn’t happening this year. Everything is while supplies last and several stamp sets have already sold out. Several products on my card today are retiring:
I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock and added a layer of Misty Moonlight cardstock that I ran through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Gingham Embossing Folder. Then I used the Tailor Made Tags Dies to cut a tag out of Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper and Basic White cardstock. The tags were a little too big for my card so I made them smaller by pulling the die up on the tag I already created and then ran them through my die cut machine again (see the picture below).
I used Memento ink to stamp my bird and the sentiment, both from the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set, onto the Basic White tag and then used a Granny Apple Green stamp pad to stamp the grass. I colored the bird and flower with Stampin’ Blends: Balmy Blue (Light & Dark), Daffodil Delight (Light & Dark) and Light Granny Apple Green. I used Mini Glue Dot to adhere the two tags together and then used the Misty Moonlight/Silver Baker’s Twine (from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack) to tie the two tags together. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Hand-Penned tag and adhered it to the front of the card. To complete my card, I added five Elegant Faceted Gems to the front.

The Stampin’ Up! 2021-2022 Annual Catalog is retiring and today at 1:00 PM. (Mountain Time), Stampin’ Up! will release the list of all the products in the catalog that are retiring. Some products will be discounted but everything on the Last Chance List will be available while supplies last.
As soon as I have the list, instead of creating another blog post, I will insert it right here for you to look at so please check back later today. I like to use the list to go through my catalog, page by page, and mark everything that’s retiring but usually the list is very hard to read (extremely small print) but I will post it for those of you who would like to do this as well. I’ll also post a link that will take you directly to my Stampin’ Up! online store to the retiring products section.

The fastest way to see what’s retiring, is to go to my Stampin’ Up! Online Store around 1:00 PM Mountain Time (sometimes they post early) to see which products we’re saying goodbye to and what’s on sale.

Please keep this in mind when looking at the Last Chance (retiring) List:
- Many bundles will be retiring but not necessarily the products themselves. For instance, in the last catalog the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle retired but both the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and the Sunflowers Dies did not retire. If a current bundle is retiring that you like, but the products are not, grab it now so you can receive the 10% discount.
- Check the last page for a “key” (I won’t see the list until 1:00 so I’m assuming there will be a key). Some products will say they are retiring but they are returning. It’s possible they are being packaged or configured in a different way.
- If you want something, act quickly! Everything will be available while supplies last and I don’t want you to be disappointed that you didn’t get something you really wanted.
- The retiring In Colors products will go fast! They are Misty Moonlight (sigh), Just Jade (another sigh), Cinnamon Cider, Magenta Madness and Bumblebee. You can click each color below for all the products available in that color.
New Annual Catalog Coming Soon
The new Stampin’ Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalog will be debuting on May 3, 2022. On April 1st, I will be ordering a Stampin’ Up! catalog for all my customers. Once I receive them, I will start packaging them up to mail out. If you aren’t a current customer of mine, simply place an order at my Stampin’ Up! Online Store and I’ll send one to you too!
Demonstrators can preorder from the new catalog on April 1st. If you’d like to order new products early too, and get a discount on top of it, consider purchasing the Starter Kit for $99. Beginning April 1, 2022, Stampin’ Up! standard shipping and handling charges will change from $6.95 or 10% of your order – whichever is greater – to $7.95 or 11% of your order – whichever is greater. If you choose to expedite your order, those costs will also increase. Stampin’ Up! hasn’t raised these costs in over a decade and in the last two years they have tried several ways to manage shipping costs without raising shipping prices but with these unprecedented times, it was simply necessary.
