My Words of Cheer Card Sampler will be debuting tomorrow too!
Today’s card is a fun fold and it features the Stitched Leaves Dies, Love of Leaves stamp set,Timber 3D Embossing Folder and Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper. This card was one of the cards featured in my recent Love of Leaves Card Sampler.
I started with a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock and scored it in two places to create the fun fold (you’ll find the measurements below the Supply List). I then adhered a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card. Next, I layered a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock and Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper together and adhered them to the panel on the left front.
Next, I embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to the front/middle section of the card. I used the Hippo & Friends Dies to cut a shape out of a piece of Basic White cardstock and a larger one out of Cajun Craze cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in Cajun Craze ink over to the right of the Basic White shape and then adhered it to the Cajun Craze cardstock. On the back, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the left side only and adhered it to the front of the card. This creates a flap and the left side of the card will tuck under it.
Using the Stitched Leaves Dies, I cut a leaf out of Mossy Meadow cardstock and another out of Cajun Craze cardstock. I adhered the Cajun Craze leaf to the sentiment piece using Multipurpose Glue and then added a Stampin’ Dimensional to the back of the Mossy Meadow leaf and placed it beside the other leaf. I made a bow using the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and attached it between the two leaves using a Mini Glue Dot (or you could use a tiny amount of Multipurpose Glue).

Yesterday I shared a card using the Boho Indigo Refill Kit and today I have another card (a fun fold) using this same kit. If you missed yesterday’s card, you can see it HERE.
I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock and then added a layer of Misty Moonlight cardstock to the front. Next, I folded a piece of Basic White cardstock in half and adhered it to the front of the card (use a heavy duty adhesive such as Tear & Tape, Multipurpose Glue, or Stampin’ Seal+).
Using my Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, I used the largest rectangular shape in the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to cut a rectangle using Misty Moonlight cardstock and then using the next smaller size, I cut one out of the Boho Indigo Designer Series Paper (in the Boho Indigo Refill Kit). I layered those two pieces together and then adhered them to the Basic White piece on the front of the card.
I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using Misty Moonlight ink and the stamp set, Quite Curvy. I cut it out using the Tasteful Labels Dies and also cut the shape the sentiment is adhered to with these dies as well. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Misty Moonlight cardstock and adhered it to the center of the card. I added a little drop of Multipurpose Glue to the back of the flower and adhered it below the sentiment (there are 40 flowers in the Boho Indigo Refill Kit).

Today I’m sharing one of the cards in my Flower & Field Card Sampler from earlier this month (this Sampler is no longer available but my Happy Thoughts Card Sampler is available until January 23rd). My samplers include all the paper and embellishments needed to make six cards and include a PDF Tutorial. You can find more information about my newest sampler later in the post.
Today’s card features Flower & Field Designer Series Paper which is one of seven free Sale-a-Bration gifts you can choose from with a $50 order (before tax and shipping).
I began with a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock that I scored in two places to create a fun fold (you can find all the measurements below the Supply List). On the front of the card I added a layer of Bumblebee cardstock and Field & Flower Designer Series Paper to the left-side panel.
On the inside, I added layers of Bumblebee and Basic White cardstock with a strip of Flower & Field Designer Series Paper. The sentiment (please see my notes about the stamp set below) was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink onto Basic White cardstock and cut out with the Hippo & Friends Dies and layered onto Bumblebee cardstock, also cut with the same set of dies. On the back of the sentiment piece, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the left side only and then placed it on the right-hand side of the card. The left side of the card tucks under the sentiment.
I used Bumblebee cardstock to cut a flower using the Small Bloom Punch. I added a glue dot to the back and placed it on the sentiment piece. The finishing touch was to add an Opal Round to the center of the flower.
Note about the sentiment: I cut the “Happy Birthday” stamp in half so I would have more options for using it. To cut it apart, I used my Paper Snips, which are very, very sharp. It’s scary to cut a stamp but I’m happy I did it!

Today I’d like to share a beautiful card I received in the mail from my friend, Dawn.
She calls this card a Three Panel Fun Fold card and it was created using Trimming the Tree Designer Series Paper from the August-December Mini Catalog. It’s one of many retiring products in the catalog and it’s on sale, but only while supplies last!! Yesterday many products were flying off the shelves so if you love this paper, get it while you can before it’s gone forever!
To create the base of the card, Dawn used our 12″ x 12″ Whisper White cardstock, scored it and folded the paper, accordion style (all the measurements can be found below the Supply List). She added the Designer Series Paper to the panels. One of the sheets in this package is filled with houses and trees so she cut them out. Another design in the pack has a full sheet of sentiments which she also cut out. She cut the pieces by hand, to minimize waste, but the coordinating Home Together Dies will also cut the pieces.
Using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, two scalloped rectangles were cut out of Misty Moonlight cardstock and two smaller ones out of Whisper White cardstock. One set was adhered to the first panel of the card. Stampin’ Dimensionals were added to the houses, tree and sentiment and attached to the front panel. On the inside panel, the other two rectangles were adhered and the sentiment was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink using the stamp set, Snow Wonder**. Red rhinestones were added to the tree and wreath on the front and to the wreath on the inside.
** Snow Wonder is NOT retiring but the bundle price is. After January 4, 2021, the stamp set and coordinating dies will only be offered as separate purchases, not as a bundle. After this date, it will no longer be offered at the bundle price with a savings of 10%.
Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper is part of an entire suite of products.
